Das von Grund auf neu entwickelte m17 verfügt über ein hochwertiges Gehäuse aus Magnesiumlegierung mit neuem legendären Design und kontrastreichen Farboptionen wie Lunar Light und Dark Side of the Moon. Mit 8-Phasen-Spannungsregelung für die Nvidia RTX 2080 Max-Q-Grafikkarte und 6-Phasen-Spannungsregelung für die Intel Core i7 und i9HK Prozessoren ist das neue Alienware m17 für bessere Effizienz und dauerhaftere Turbo-Frequenzen fest verdrahtet. Dies ermöglicht GPU- und CPU-Hochleistung über längere Zeiträume. Der nächste Level wird durch eine GeForce RTX der 2000er-Serie, leistungsstarke Grafik- und Nvidia-Technologien wie Ray Tracing, DLSS und AI-optimiertes Grafik-Rendering erreicht, sodass auch die anspruchsvollsten Titel gemeistert werden. Außer der Innovation für höhere Leistung, nämlich die hocheffiziente Spannungsregelung, unterstützt das neue Alienware m17 bei allen Prozessor-Optionen dynamisches CPU-Clocking. Das Alienware m17 enthält zwei SSDs im RAID-0-Verbund. RAID 0 verbessert die Übertragungsraten und damit die Leistung. Die Advanced Alienware-Cryo-Tech v3.0 kühlt und schützt die CPU mit 6-Phasen-Spannungsregelung und die GPU mit 8-Phasen-Spannungsregelung. Außerdem wurden die Durchmesser der CPU-Lüfterblätter um 32 % und jene der GPU um 10 % vergrößert. Das 144-Hz-Anzeigefeld unterstützt die brandneue Eyesafe-Display-Technologie. Diese verringert den schädlichen blauen Lichtanteil ohne Farbverzerrung. Die neue Tastatur wurde von Grund auf neu gestaltet. Ihr Hubweg (1,7 mm) ist länger als beim vorherigen m17. The amount of power tucked under the hood is extremely impressive and should deliver the kind of AAA gaming experiences I seek. The 17.3-inch screen is another aspect that excites me since I want to see every juicy detail produced by the powerful AMD graphics cards. The only drawback I can foresee with this laptop is the price of higher-end models. $1,599 for the base model alone may be too much for the average gamer. I can only imagine how much beefier rigs will cost. With that said, those who can afford the more expensive models should get their money’s worth. The Alienware m17 R5 Ryzen Edition is clearly a gaming laptop made by gamers, for gamers. It may indeed land in our best gaming laptops of 2022.

Die DTR-Laptops sind schwerer zu tragen, brauchen mehr Strom, dafür sind Texte leicht lesbar und hohe Auflösungen kein Problem.
