Nvidias drittbeste Blackwell-GPU in diesem Jahr, die RTX 5070 Ti, gibt es nicht in einer Founders Edition-Variante, aber eine ganze Reihe von Partnerkarten sind verfügbar, darunter die MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC.

Die RTX 5070 Ti hat eine Menge zu bieten, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich nur um eine abgespeckte GB203 GPU mit dem gleichen, wenn auch etwas langsameren 16 GB GDDR7 Speicherinterface handelt. Bei Spielen vergrößert sich der Abstand zwischen der RTX 5070 Ti und der RTX 4080, während sie um Haaresbreite schneller ist als die Radeon RX 7900 XTX, das aktuelle Flaggschiff aus dem Hause AMD.

Mit aktiviertem Raytracing entfernt sich die RX 7900 XTX weiter von der RTX 5070 Ti. Wenn Sie ein 1440p-Spieler sind, ist die RTX 5070 Ti im Grunde genommen eine klare Sache. 4K-Gamer kommen ebenfalls auf ihre Kosten, mit einem durchschnittlichen Zuwachs von 20% gegenüber der RTX 4070 Ti. In diesem Segment gibt es derzeit keine brauchbare Alternative, aber diese Karte ist nur dann lukrativ, wenn Sie sie zum Preis von rund 800 Euro bekommen können. Alles, was höher ist - und das wird mit Sicherheit sein -, lässt den Wertvorteil deutlich sinken. Es gibt alle möglichen Optionen für die RTX 5070 Ti, die zu lächerlich überhöhten Preisen angeboten werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen abzuwarten, was AMD mit der Anfang März erscheinenden Radeon RX 9000 Serie vorhat, bevor Sie zuschlagen.

Wir testen heute Nvidias dritte Blackwell-GPU, die GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Anders als die RTX 5080 und der RTX 5090 gibt es die RTX 5070 Ti nicht in einer Founders Edition Variante. Nvidias Add-in-Board (AiB)-Partner haben jedoch eine Vielzahl von RTX 5070 Ti-Varianten im Angebot.

Die RTX 5070 Ti ist aus dem gleichen GB203 Chip gefertigt, der auch die RTX 5080 antreibt, allerdings mit fast 17% weniger (8.960) CUDA-Kernen. Positiv ist, dass die RTX 5070 Ti 6% mehr CUDA-Kerne bietet als die RTX 4070 Ti Super. Die Verwendung der GB203 GPU bedeutet, dass die RTX 5070 Ti das gleiche 16 GB GDDR7 Speichersubsystem wie die RTX 5080 verwendet, obwohl es mit einer langsameren Bandbreite von 896 GB/s arbeitet.

Synthetische Benchmarks: Liegt genau zwischen der RX 7900 XTX und der RTX 4080

Die MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC ist 5% schneller als die RTX 4080 Founders Edition in den kumulativen 3DMark- und Unigine-Tests, liegt aber hinter der Radeon RX 7900 XTX mit dem gleichen Abstand.

Die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC ist auch gut 26% schneller als die Aorus GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Master. Zum Vergleich: Die RTX 4070 Ti war bei der Markteinführung damals 50 Dollar teurer.

Raytracing Leistung

Die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC erreicht gut 20% höhere fps als die RTX 4080 FE mit aktiviertem Path Tracing bei 1440p in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. DLSS 4 Mehrbildgenerierung

Während alle RTX-GPUs, die bis zur Turing-Generation zurückreichen, DLSS 4 unterstützen, können nur die RTX 50 Blackwell-GPUs Multi-Frame-Generierung (MFG) betreiben.

MFG verschafft der RTX 5070 Ti in unterstützten Spielen einen deutlichen Vorsprung vor der RTX 4090. Während die RTX 4090 zum Beispiel in Star Wars Outlaws bei 4K mit Ultra Ray Tracing und aktivierter DLSS Frame Generation und Ray Reconstruction knapp 90 fps schafft, erreicht die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC bei den gleichen Einstellungen mit 4x MFG 114 fps.

Derzeit unterstützt nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von Titeln MFG nativ auf RTX 50 GPUs. Dennoch bietet die Nvidia App eine Möglichkeit, MFG in vielen weiteren kompatiblen Spielen zu erzwingen.

Laut MSI verfügt die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC über eine vernickelte Kupfer-Bodenplatte und quadratische Heatpipes, um eine effektive Wärmeübertragung von der GPU zu gewährleisten.

Stresstest

Bei der Belastung mit FurMark (1.280x720, ohne AA) erreicht die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC einen Boost von 2.715 MHz bei einem Spitzenstromverbrauch von 300 W und einer durchschnittlichen Kerntemperatur von 69,2 °C.

In einem realitätsnahen Stress wie Cyberpunk 2077 in 1080p Ultra kann die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC bei einer viel geringeren Leistungsaufnahme von 266 W auf bis zu 2.857 MHz hochtakten, während die durchschnittliche Kerntemperatur bei 65,5 °C bleibt.

Die Oberflächentemperaturen sind angenehm, die Vorder- und die Rückseite bleiben unter Last bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 23 °C deutlich unter 45 °C.

Die dreifachen Torx 5.0 Lüfter der RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC leisten gute Arbeit, um die GPU kühl zu halten. In der Standard-Lüfterkurve schalten die Lüfter vollständig ab, wenn die GPU im Leerlauf ist.

Unter Last können die Lüfter jedoch ziemlich laut werden. In FurMark haben wir einen maximalen Schalldruckpegel (SPL) von 51,56 dB(A) gemessen. Der Geräuschpegel beim Spielen ist mit 43,22 dB(A) relativ niedrig.

Es gibt keinen dedizierten VBIOS-Profilschalter, so dass Sie sich auf MSI Center oder MSI Afterburner und dergleichen verlassen müssen, um bei Bedarf eigene Lüfterkurven zu definieren.

Energiemanagement: Spürbare Effizienzsteigerung gegenüber RTX 4070 Ti und RX 7900 XTX

Der Stromverbrauch der RTX 5070 Ti unter FurMark-Last unterscheidet sich nicht allzu sehr von dem der RTX 4070 Ti. Seltsamerweise verbraucht die RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC 14% bzw. 23% mehr Strom als die RTX 4080 FE beim Spielen von Cyberpunk 2077 und The Witcher 3 , jeweils bei 1080p Ultra.

Davon abgesehen bietet die RTX 5070 Ti in Cyberpunk 2077 einen spürbaren Effizienzgewinn von 14% gegenüber der RTX 4070 Ti. In The Witcher 3 schrumpft dieser Wert jedoch auf nur 4%.
