EN→DEThe best part about the new Vivobook S series though, is the price. These two laptops, if equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, starts at RM4,399 for the 14-inch and RM4,699 for the 16-inch model. As what I said at the beginning of this video – they’re surprisingly affordable. No cap, I thought this laptop was going to be at least RM5k because of how premium it is. We have a great metal design, great specs, great screen, great keyboard and trackpad, great selection of ports, and also a great battery life. All this for below RM5k is actually a good price.

EN→DETo answer the big question: is it worth getting the Asus Vivobook S14 OLED? I would wholeheartedly say so! To give my verdict about the laptop and conclude my findings, I found the laptop to be supremely ideal for most users looking for a thin, light laptop for everyday use. It doesn’t miss out on anything significant, except for a few things like a dedicated GPU, high refresh rate display, and maybe even a touch-screen panel, but most of us won’t mind such commissions if the rest of the things are great, which they are. I can never stop praising OLED screens, and the same goes for this laptop. The performance output is better than expected, especially since it can comfortably run games like Valorant on high settings and heavy software.

Unter dem Markennamen Asus fertigt das Unternehmen eine breite Palette von Produkten, darunter Laptops, Desktops, Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Monitore, Smartphones und Netzwerkgeräte, Komplettsysteme und PC-Bauteile für Endkunden.
Unter dem Markennamen ROG (Republic of Gamers) stellt ASUS Gaming-Laptops her, die bei Spielern für ihre leistungsstarken Spezifikationen, dedizierten Grafikkarten, Displays mit hoher Bildwiederholrate und fortschrittlichen Kühlsystemen bekannt sind.

Die Kundenzufriedenheit mit ASUS-Notebooks betrifft Leistung, die Funktionen und das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der ASUS-Notebooks. Wie bei jeder Marke gibt es jedoch gelegentlich Berichte über Probleme wie Überhitzung, Treiberkompatibilität oder Probleme mit der Verarbeitungsqualität.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
Intel Arc 7-Core: Integrierte Grafikkarte basierend auf die Xe LPG Architektur (ähnlich zu den dedizierten Arc GPUs, jedoch mit Fokus auf Effizienz). Bietet 7 der 8 Xe Kerne (112 Xe Vector Engines) und 7 Raytracing Einheiten.
Intel Arc 8-Core: Integrierte Grafikkarte basierend auf die Xe LPG Architektur (ähnlich zu den dedizierten Arc GPUs, jedoch mit Fokus auf Effizienz). Bietet alle 8 Xe Kerne (128 Xe Vector Engines) und 8 Raytracing Einheiten.

Intel Arc 140V: Schnelle integrierte Grafikkarte, die in den schnelleren Intel Lunar Lake Prozessoren zum Einsatz kommt. 14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist, gute Auflösungen mit brauchbaren Detailgrößen liefern und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.
Früher waren 14 Zoll-Geräte sehr selten, jetzt stellen sie nach den 15-Zollern den Standard bei Laptops dar.
