Die schwarze Oberfläche und die schwarzen Tasten sind typisch für ein Business-Notebook, das ohne viel Schnick-Schnack auskommen soll. Das 15,6 Zoll große Display ist matt und zeigt keine lästigen Reflexionen. Die Core i5-CPU arbeitet recht flott, lediglich die Festplatte bremst das System aus, speziell beim Booten.

Rechenleistung ist für die meisten Anwendungen üppig vorhanden; die Fülle an Schnittstellen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich die vielen vorinstallierten Tools nerven mehr als sie nutzen. Das Verhältnis vom Einkaufspreis zum Verkaufspreis ist leider - wie so oft - völlig enttäuschend.

Toshiba: Die Toshiba Corporation ist ein japanischer Misch- bzw Technologiekonzern. Die Firma entstand 1939 und 1978 wurde Toshiba offizieller Firmenname. Zu den Produkten und Dienstleistungen des Unternehmens gehören Energie, industrielle und soziale Infrastruktursysteme, Aufzüge und Rolltreppen, elektronische Komponenten, Halbleiter, Festplatten, Drucker, Batterien, Beleuchtung, Logistik und Informationstechnologie. Toshiba war einer der größten Hersteller von Personal Computern, Unterhaltungselektronik, Haushaltsgeräten und medizinischen Geräten.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
NVIDIA NVS 2100M: Auf GT218 Kern (GeForce G210M) basierende Business Grafikkarte (Treiber auf Stabilität und Kompatibilität von Geschäftsanwendungen optimiert). Verglichen zur NVS3100 etwas geringer getaktet.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel HD Graphics oder GMA HD genannte onboard Grafikkarte welche im Package der Core i3/i5/i7 Arrandale Dual-Core Prozessoren untergebracht wird. Je nach Prozessormodell maximal mit 500 bis 766 MHz getaktet (Turbo Boost). Von Lenovo anscheinend auch GMA5700MHD genannt. Die gleichgenannte Intel HD Graphics Prozessorgrafik in den Sandy Bridge Prozessoren basiert auf einer neueren Architektur.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: Im GM45, GS45 und GE45 Chipsatz (Montevina Plattform) integrierte shared Memory Grafikkarte von Intel. Durch höhere Taktung und mehr Shader ist sie deutlich schneller als die X3100, jedoch immer noch nicht für Spieler empfehlenswert. Kann HD-Videos (AVC/VC2/MPEG2) dekodieren und so die CPU entlasten.

520M: Der Core i5-520M besitzt im Vergleich zum i7-640 nur 3MB L3 Cache und taktet zwischen 2.4-2.93 GHz (je nach Auslastung dank Turbo Mode). Durch Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Im Package ist auch noch eine integrierte Grafikkarte (GMA HD mit 500-766 MHz) und ein Speichercontroller (beide noch 45nm Fertigung). Dadurch ist der gesamte TDP von 35 Watt nicht sehr hoch.
430M: Der Core i5-430M besitzt im Vergleich zum i7-640 nur 3MB L3 Cache und taktet zwischen 2.26-2.53 GHz (je nach Auslastung dank Turbo Mode). VT-d, Trusted Execution und AES Funktionen fehlen dem 430M jedoch. Durch Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Im Package ist auch noch eine integrierte Grafikkarte (GMA HD mit 500-766 MHz) und ein Speichercontroller (beide noch 45nm Fertigung). Dadurch ist der gesamte TDP von 35 Watt nicht sehr hoch.
560M: Der Core i5-560M ist ein schneller Dual-Core Prozessor und besitzt im Vergleich zum i7-620 nur 3MB L3 Cache und taktet zwischen 2.67-3.2 GHz (je nach Auslastung dank Turbo Boost).
