Looking at Xiaomi’s current Redmi lineup, the Redmi 6 Pro doesn’t make a very strong case for itself. There’s nothing terribly wrong with it, but at the same time, it doesn’t really offer anything new or different compared to the existing Redmi Note 5 (Review), which costs Rs. 1,000 less for the same amount of RAM and storage. You also have the Redmi Y2 (Review) at the exact same price as the Redmi 6 Pro, and that model has a better front camera, but you'd compromise a bit on the display and battery capacity. What Xiaomi has essentially done here is create a bit of confusion in its own lineup.

The Snapdragon 625 isn’t as good as the 636 on the Redmi Note 5 Pro but is a good enough mid way ground. Similarly, the dual camera array is much better than the Redmi 5 and just a touch behind the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Modell: Kennen Sie diese Tage, an denen einem nichts mehr überrascht? Das passiert mir, wenn ich ein neues Xiaomi-Smartphone oder -Phablet oder irgendetwas Neues, das Xiaomi auf den Markt bringt, sehe.

Wir kennen dies bei einigen Herstellern von High-End-Geräten. Doch bei Xiaomi wirkt es etwas anders, da diese Firma in fast allen Segmenten anzutreffen ist. Von Smart-Wristbands bis zu Smart-TVs oder von Smartphones bis zu Gaming-Laptops. Diese Firma verfolgt die Strategie, den Markt mit allem zu fluten, und es scheint, dass sich das Auszuzahlen beginnt.

Heute befasse ich mich mit dem Redmi 6 Pro. Wodurch unterscheidet es sich vom Redmi 5 Note Pro? Durch den Notch. Ist das alles? Der Bildschirm ist etwas kleiner und der Prozessor ist etwas veraltet.

Warum wird also ein neues Modell auf den Markt gebracht? Abgesehen vom Notch am Bildschirm und der 19:9-Bildschirmauflösung konnte ich wirklich nichts Neues entdecken, womit sich die Frage stellt, warum man Upgraden sollte? Handelt es sich um eine Innovation? Definitiv nicht. In puncto Haptik gleicht es ziemlich dem Redmi Note 5 Pro, doch der Bildschirm ist zugegebenermaßen besser. Die Kamera, die Akkulaufzeit oder jedes andere Detail ist nicht besser, wenn nicht sogar schlechter.

Da es sich um ein Gerät der Mittelklasse handelt, ist die Konkurrenz ziemlich hoch. Ich sehe dieses Modell als einen Versuch dem Trend zu einem 18:9- bzw. 19:9-Seitenverhältnis und einem Notch zu folgen. Darüberhinaus bin ich weder beeindruckt noch enttäuscht. Nach Verwendung einiger Produkte von Xiaomi stelle ich ihre Qualität bei ihrem Preis nicht in Frage.

Insgesamt zeichnen sich Xiaomi-Produkte für mich durch ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aus und beim Redmi 6 Pro ist das nicht anders. Ob Sie es kaufen oder nicht, es gibt Konkurrenz von Asus, Motorola, Wiko, Honor und unzähligen anderen Marken. Ihre Entscheidung hängt vollständig von ihrem Budget ab. Suchen Sie etwas Erstklassiges, so werden Sie bei Xiaomi nicht fündig. Sind Sie jedoch jemand, der dem Trend folgen möchte und dem es nicht stört, jedes Jahr ein neues Gerät zu kaufen und Neues auszuprobieren, wird Sie das Redmi 6 Pro wahrscheinlich nicht enttäuschen.
