Strahlend hell. Das LG G6 war im vergangenen Jahr eines der ersten Smartphones mit 2:1-Display. Der Nachfolger heißt LG G7 ThinQ und setzt wieder auf ein ähnliches Format, jedoch mit einer Notch. Dazu gibt es kraftvolle Hardware sowie das erste mLC-Display, welches enorm hell sein kann. Auch die Kamera will LG verbessert haben. The LG G7 ThinQ is available in the U.S. starting June 1 on all major U.S. carriers with the exception of AT&T. Pre-orders open May 24 for Verizon and May 25 for Sprint. Pricing is still a bit of a mystery, as LG is leaving it up to the carriers — we’re expecting it to cost at least $650. That’s still a good chunk of money, but it’s very competitive compared to Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Apple’s iPhone X.

Das LG G7 One ist das jüngste Smartphone der Firma. Es bietet einen großartigen Bildschirm, schönen Klang und eine abgespeckte Benutzeroberfläche. Eine unveränderte Version von Android OS ist vorinstalliert. Die einfach zu bedienende Oberfläche bietet nur die wichtigen Apps. Es gibt keine Bloatware, die Speicherplatz, Akkulaufzeit und Datentarif verbrauchen. Mit Android One wird das Android OS immer aktuell sein. Daher ist das G7 One immer optimiert und arbeitet wie neu mit den neuesten Merkmalen, Innovationen und Aktualisierungen von Google. Android One bleibt in puncto Erhalten von Sicherheit, Geschwindigkeit und Leistung des Phones einen Schritt voraus. Das LG G7 One verspricht monatliche Sicherheitsupdates. In Kombination mit dem integrierten Google Play Protect handelt es sich beim G7 One um eines der sichersten Android-Smartphones. Zum Verhindern von Malware, Viren und schädigendem Verhalten werden Apps und Gerät regelmäßig überprüft. Das G7 One verfügt zudem über eine physische Google-Assistant-Taste an seiner Seitenkante. Das G7 One verwendet für eine erstaunliche Schärfe und Helligkeit zusätzliche weiße Pixel und maximiert gleichzeitig die Effizienz des Akkus. Das G7 One nutzt seinen Raum im Inneren als Resonanzkammer, um den Bass zu verstärken und liefert einen erstklassigen, lauten und Raum füllenden Klang. 7.1-Kanal-Surround-Sound sorgt unterwegs für Audio in Kinoqualität, und macht das Hörerlebnis des Users realistischer. Das G7 One ist zudem IP68-zertifiziert, bietet also ein Design in Militärqualität. Es ist Wasser und Staub resistent ist, sodass man sich keine Sorgen machen muss. Die Verarbeitung des Smartphones ist hochwertig, wenngleich der Metallrücken nicht die gleiche Eleganz versprüht wie das LG V30 oder G7. LG G7 Fit

Das LG G7 Fit ist ein Smartphone zum günstigen Preis. Mit diesem Smartphone will LG ein preisgünstiges Mittelklassegerät anbieten, das Spitzenleistung mit Funktionen kombiniert, die auch die Flagship-Modelle des Herstellers bieten. Das LG G7 ist nur in LG Aurora Black, also in schwarz mit blauem Aussehen, verfügbar. Die Rückseite aus Glas sammelt nicht nur Fingerabdrücke sondern macht das Gerät auch schlüpfrig. Bei vielen Smartphones befinden sich die Lautstärke-Tasten oberhalb des Stromschalters, doch LG hat sie getrennt. Der Stromschalter befindet sich an der gewohnten Stelle an der rechten Seitenkante, doch die Lautstärkeregler sind links. IP68-Zertifizierung macht das Gerät widerstandsfähig gegenüber Staub und Wasser. Das LG G7 Fit ist mit einem 6,1 Zoll großen LCD-Bildschirm mit einem 19.5:9 Seitenverhältnis ausgestattet. Am oberen Bildschirmrand befindet sich eine Notch, die Selfie-Kamera, Lautsprecher und Benachrichtigungsslot verbirgt. Dennoch gibt es genug Platz um einige Benachrichtigungen zu empfangen. Sind User nicht so von der Notch begeistert, kann diese in den Einstellungen deaktiviert werden. An der Rückseite des Smartphones befindet sich eine 16-MP-Kamera mit f/2.2 Blende. User können AI Cam nutzen, welches bis zu 19 verschiedene Situationen wie etwa Blumen, Essen, Computer, Tiere, Gebäude usw. erkennen kann. Die Kamera selbst wird Farben und Filter entsprechend der Umgebung und dem Aufnahmegegenstand wählen. An der Vorderseite befindet sich eine 8-MP-Selfie-Kamera mit Weitwinkellinse. Dank Quad HD+-Auflösung, die normale Auflösung bei Flagships, sieht alles am Bildschirm sehr scharf aus. In den Einstellungen können User wählen, welche Auflösung sie nutzen wollen. Das ist nützlich, wenn man Energie sparen möchte. Die Auflösung kann leicht auf Full HD (2.340 x 1.080 Pixel) verändert werden. Der LCD-Bildschirm stellt schöne, realistische Farben mit gutem Kontrast dar. Außerdem lässt er sich von jedem Winkel leicht ablesen. Im Inneren des LG G7 Fit arbeitet der Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 mit vier Kernen mit einer Taktrate von 2,35 GHz. Für Alltagsaufgaben ist dieser Prozessor sicherlich leistungsstark genug, um die meisten Aufgaben flüssig auszuführen. Apps öffnen sich schnell und Animationen in Software laufen flüssig. Das Gerät verfügt über 32 GB internen Speicher. Die Software des LG G7 Fit braucht die Hälfte des verfügbaren Speicherplatzes. Daher stehen Usern noch zirka 15 GB zum Speichern von Apps, Fotos und Videos zur Verfügung. Erfreulicherweise kann der Speicher mit einer MicroSD-Karte auf maximal 2 TB erweitert werden. Das LG G7 Fit verfügt über einen Fingerabdruckleser an seiner Rückseite. Dieser ist leicht erreichbar. Der Scanner reagiert sehr flüssig und arbeitet genau. Das LG G7 Fit hat eine Akkukapazität von 3.000 mAh, was nicht besonders hoch ist. Der schöne Bildschirm und der wenig energieeffiziente Prozessor wirken sich nachteilig auf die Akkulaufzeit aus. Obwohl die meisten Smartphones eine 3.5-mm-Buchse weglassen, konzentriert sich das LG auf einen solchen. Wie LGs Flagships verfügt auch das G7 Fit über einen HiFi Quad DAC. Insgesamt ist das LG G7 Fit für seinen Preis ein schönes Gerät. Es richtet sich an Kunden, die sich besonders für eine hochwertige Kamera, einen hochwertigen Bildschirm und hochwertige Audio-Features zu einem wettbewerbsfähigeren Preis interessieren. LG: LG Electronics Inc. ist ein Tochterunternehmen der LG Group. Es ist ein Unternehmen aus Südkorea und wurde als Goldstar Co., Ltd., 1958 gegründet. Der Konzern bietet Produkte aus den Bereichen Informationstechnik, Unterhaltungselektronik und Mobilfunk sowie Haushaltsgeräte an. LG Electronics ist weltweit der drittgrößte Haushaltsgerätehersteller. Als Notebook-Hersteller wurde LG erst 2005 am deutschsprachigen Markt einem breiteren Publikum bekannt. Nach ein paar Jahren zog sich LG großteils aus dem Laptop-Bereich zurück. Das Produktspektrum umfasst unter anderem OLED, LED/LCD- und Plasma-Fernseher, Heimkinosysteme, Blu-ray-Player sowie Audio- und Video-Player. 

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 845: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Anfang 2018 vorgestellt wurde. Integriert unter anderem 4 Kryo 385 Performance-Kerne (Cortex-A75) und 4 Kryo 385 Effizienz-Kerne (Cortex-A55). Weiters ist ein X20 LTE Modem (Cat.18 down 1.2 Gbps, Cat.13 up 150 Mbps) im Chip verbaut. 

SD 835: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Anfang 2017 vorgestellt wurde und einer der ersten Prozessoren in 10 nm (LPE FinFET Prozess bei Samsung) ist. Integriert zwei Prozessorcluster, vier Kryo 280 mit maximal 2,45 GHz (Performance) und vier Kryo 280 mit maximal 1,9 GHz (Effizienz). Weiters sind zahlreiche zusätzliche Funktionen integriert, wie ein X16 LTE Modem (Cat 16 1 Gbps Download), Adreno 540 GPU, 80211a/b/g/n/ac Wave 2/ad WLAN, Dual-Channel 32-Bit 1866 MHz LPDDR4x Speicherkontroller, UFS 2.1 Controller, Hexagon 682 DSP, Spectra 180 Image Seonsor Prozessor, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Baeidou, Galileo Satellite Support usw.

SD 821: High-End ARM-SoC mit 4 CPU Kernen (2x stromsparend bis 1,6 GHz?, 2x Leistung mit 2,4 GHz) und 64-Bit-Unterstützung. Wird im modernen 14-nm-Prozess gefertigt und beinhaltet einen Hexagon 680 DSP, LTE Funkmodem, 802.11ad 60GHz WLAN Support und die Adreno 530 Grafikkarte.
