Durchaus lobenswert ist das Display: Es zeigt sich klar und scharf, und auch die Farben passen. Allerdings gibt es ... beim Huawei eine gewisse Blickwinkel-Abhängigkeit. Der Prozessor zeigt in den Benchmarks ein befriedigendes Ergebnis, in der Praxis ist seine Leistung wohl auch aufgrund des schlank gehaltenen Betriebssystems noch deutlich besser.

Mehr als ausreichend sind auch die Kamera und das 5-Zoll-Display mit HD-Auflösung. Gespart hat Huawei hingegen beim Mini-Speicher.

At the end of the day, the Huawei Ascend G620S is a £125 phone and at that price it's a bit of a bargain. I'd still argue that the Moto G (2014) is a better handset overall, though, thanks largely to its superior interface and more up-to-date OS. The Huawei Ascend G620S has such a clunky name that you'll likely forget what it's called by the time you get to your local mobile phone emporium, but if you do come home with one you probably won't be disappointed. You could certainly do a lot worse or spend a lot more money.

Just look at what your get for around £100: 4G, a decent processor and a fair 720p screen. Not bad, is it? The bad bits include a highly reflective screen, a pretty slow camera and software that’s dated and unusual in parts. As the screen is that bit more reflective than the Moto G, this is not the new king of budget phones.

3D Spiele sind auf diesen Vertretern nur in Ausnahmen spielbar, grundsätzlich sind die Grafiklösungen hierfür jedoch nicht geeignet. Office Programme und Internet surfen dürfte jedoch ohne Problem möglich sein.
