As well as having a very good CPU for an affordable machine, it has loads of storage, good build quality and plenty of RAM. HP’s upgrades are keenly-priced too. Spend a bit more and you’ll get a surprisingly fast machine with a good-size SSD. You’ll need to spend considerably more to get good screen quality, though. While the display here is practical, poor colour and contrast don’t make it a good fit for an entertainment device.

Modell: Das HP 250 G4 ist ein auf Business ausgerichteter Laptop mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das professionell aussehende Gerät verfügt über solides Chassis, obwohl es vorwiegend aus Kunststoff ist. Das gesamte Gerät ist elegant schwarz und weist eine schöne texturierte Oberfläche auf. Es bietet eine Chiclet-Tastatur und ein dezentrales Touchpad. Der 15,6 Zoll große, entspiegelte HD SVA LED-Bildschirm ist übersichtlich. Bei einem Gewicht ab 2,14 kg liefert das HP 250 G4 eine Fülle von Optionen in puncto Hardware und Betriebssystem. User können abhängig von ihren Kompatibilitätsanforderungen von Windows 7 bis zu Windows 10 wählen.
Die Prozessor-Optionen reichen vom preisgünstigen Intel Celeron N3050 bis zum Intel Core i5-6200U Prozessor. Maximal ist das HP 250 G4 mit 8 GB RAM ausgestattet und die AMD Radeon R5 M330 mit 2 GB DDR3 VRAM ist die beste GPU-Option. Beim Massenspeicher handelt es sich um eine 500-GB-Festplatte und für Audio sorgt ein Dual-Speaker-Setup mit DTS Studio Sound. Weitere Features umfassen Bluetooth 4.0, einen USB-3.0-Port, zwei USB-2.0-Ports, eine VGA-Ausgang, einen HDMI-Port, einen Kartenleser und eine Webcam. Abhängig von der Variante ist das HP 250 G4 entweder mit einem 4-Zellen- oder einem 3-Zellen-Lithium-Ionen-Akku ausgestattet.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
