Grundsätzlich kann man den Bildschirm von allen Winkeln ohne der Abdunklung zu der die meisten Bildschirme tendieren, betrachten.
Dieses 2,4 cm hohe Notebook wiegt nur 3 kg und ist sehr mobil. Es beherbergt vier USB-Ports und einen Ethernet-Port für einen direkten Anschluss zum Internet. Am P34G laufen fordernde Spiele wie Batman: Arkham city, Wolfenstein: The New Order und Battlefield 4 mit hohen Einstellungen problemlos. Allerdings gibt es ein hochfrequentes Lüftergeräusch, das für jüngere Spieler etwas störend sein könnte.
Der Akku hält für etwas 8 Stunden (ohne Internet) und 4,5 Stunden beim Surfen via WiFi. Das ist verglichen mit dem Gigabyte P34G ein großer Fortschritt. Es handelt sich in der Tat um ein sehr leistungsstarkes und sehr mobiles Gaming-Notebook, das mit dem Razor Blade vergleichbar ist.

Gigabyte P34G v2-CF2
Das Gigabyte P34G nutzt einen Intel Core i7 mit einer Taktrate von bis zu 3.2 GHz. Es ist mit 8 GB RAM und einer 128 GB SSD ausgestattet. Die Speicherkapazität ist für die meisten Spieler kaum ausreichend und diese werden den Platzmangel wahrscheinlich mit einer externen Festplatte kompensieren müssen.
Das P34G wiegt 1.7 kg und ist 1.7 cm dick. Sein 14-Zoll-Bildschirm wird durch eine NVIDIA GeForce Grafikkarte angesteuert. Die Grafikleistung reicht, um anspruchsvolle Spiele in hohen Auflösungen auszuführen und übertrifft jene des 2013 Razer Blade.
Der FHD (1920 x 1080) Bildschirm ist beeindruckend hell und knackig mit scharfen Details. Es handelt sich jedoch nicht um einen Touchsreen. Große Probleme mit Blickwinkelstabilität gibt es nicht.
Das dunkelgraue Gehäuse sieht professionell, jedoch etwas langweilig aus. Das Gigabyte P34G verfügt über einen Ethernet-Port, zwei USB-3.0-Ports, zwei USB-2.0-Ports, eine HDMI-Port, einen SD-Kartenleser und eine Kopfhörer/Mikrofon-Buchse. Das System bietet eine Option namens "Fan-Tweak", die eine Anpassung der Lüfter ermöglicht. Wie die meisten Gaming-Laptops klingt auch dieser während Games wie ein Haarföhn. Der Akku hält bei Video-Wiedergabe nur ungefähr vier Stunden durch und braucht etwas zweieinhalb Stunden zum Wiederaufladen.

Aktuell ist das Gigabyte P34W V3 Notebook eines der schnellsten Gaming-Notebooks am Markt. Well, the Gigabyte P34Wv5 is a very nice laptop with the right features and qualities in place : the usual gaming performance, NVMe SSD + HDD, good 1080p IPS display (no PWM detected by me, either, but that’s not accurate), very good keyboard, relatively rigid chassis, 16GB of RAM (from ExcaliberPC anyway), Thunderbolt 3 and small size.

Gigabyte: Gigabyte Technology ist ein 1986 gegründeter taiwanesischer Hersteller von Computerhardware, der vor allem für seine Motherboards und Grafikkarten bekannt ist. Gigabyte bietet eine breite Palette an Produkten an, darunter Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Laptops, Monitore, Systeme und Komponenten. Gigabytes Laptops bieten Gaming- und Kreativfunktionen für unterwegs. Gigabyte-Monitore bieten 4K Pro Gaming.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist, gute Auflösungen mit brauchbaren Detailgrößen liefern und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.
