Die Nvidia GeForce MX450 (Codename N18S-G5 / N18S-G5-B / N18S-LP) ist eine mobile Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den TU117 Chip der GeForce GTX 1650 und nutzt daher schon den aktuellen Turing Chip. Neu ist die PCIe Gen 4 x4 Unterstützung. Aktuell sind vier Varianten der MX450 geplant:

N18S-G5-B: GBD-128 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 28.5 W
N18S-G5: GB2E-64 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 25 W
N18S-G5: GB2E-64 Package, 1395 - 1575 MHz, GDDR5 3501 MHz, 25 W
N18S-LP: GB2E-64 Package, 720 - 930 MHz, GDDR6 5001 MHz, 12 W

Besonders die LP = Low Power Variante wird eine deutlich geringere Leistung aufweisen. Am schnellsten sollten die ersten beiden Varianten mit GDDR6 Grafikspeicher sein. Im Vergleich zur GTX 1650 für Laptops, ist die MX450 ähnlich getaktet, bietet jedoch nur 2 GB Grafikspeicher bei halbiertem Grafikbus von 64 Bit. Der Stromverbrauch ist jedoch ebenfalls halbiert (50 versus 25 Watt TGP) und bleibt sogar unter der GTX 1650 Max-Q (35 Watt TGP).

Die Leistung der 25 Watt GDDR6-Variante soll bis zu 20% oberhalb einer alten GeForce GTX 1050 liegen und deutlich oberhalb einer schnellen GeForce MX350. Gedacht ist die MX450 als dedizierte Grafikkarte für Tigerlake-U basierte (leichte) Notebooks.

Wie auch die GeForce GTX 1650, sollte die MX450 in 12nm bei TSMC gefertigt werden.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU oder 3070 Ti Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E6, Max-P / Max-Q) ist der Refresh der RTX 3070 zur CES Anfang 2022. Sie basiert auf den selben GA104 Chip wie the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU und bietet mit 5888 15% mehr Shader als die Vorgängergeneration. Der Boost Takt wurde aber wahrscheinlich etwas reduziert. Die GPU bietet einen 256 Bit Speicherbus und 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher. Es gibt verschiedene Varianten mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten und TGP Einstellungen von 80 - 125 Watt. Je nach Variante, unterscheidet sich auch der maximale Boost-Takt von 1035 MHz (80W) bis 1485 MHz (125W). Es gibt aber keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 80 - 90 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).

Die Leistung sollte zwischen der alten RTX 3070 Mobile und RTX 3080 Mobile liegen. Damit eignet sich die RTX 3070Ti Mobile am besten für QHD und maximale Settings bei anspruchsvollen Spielen (wie Cyberpunk 2077 oder Halo Infinite) bzw. 4K bei weniger anspruchsvollen Spielen (wie Farming Simulator 22).

Der GA104 Chip bietet 6144 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 3072 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Die RTX 3070 Ti nutzt 5888 der 6144 Kerne. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).

Der GA104 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).

NVIDIA GeForce MX330

Die Nvidia GeForce MX330 ist eine mobile Grafikkarte für Notebooks und Nachfolger der GeForce MX230. Sie basiert auf die alte GeForce MX250 bzw. MX150 und laut unseren Quellen auf den GP108-655-A1 Chip. Die GPU bietet weiterhin 384 CUDA Kerne. Die Taktraten wurden nur minimal erhöht im Vergleich zur MX250 und sollten keinerlei spürbare Auswirkung auf die Performance haben (+12 MHz = 0,8%). Der GDDR5 Grafikspeicher wird mit einem 64 Bit Speicherinterface angebunden und mit 3500 MHz (7000 MHz effektiv) getaktet. Dadurch bietet die MX330 eine maximale Speicherbandbreite von 56,06 GB/s

Die Spieleleistung ist vergleichbar mit der MX250 und MX150 (siehe beide Seiten für detaillierte Benchmarks). Daher reicht die Leistung knapp nicht mehr bei sehr anspruchsvollen Spielen wie Red Dead Redemption 2. Weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie Fifa 20 oder Farming Simulator 19 können auch in mittleren bis hohen Deatailsettings flüssig gespielt werden.

Wie auch bei der MX250, sind wieder zwei Varianten mit 12 (+2 Watt) Watt (N17S-LP) bzw. 25 Watt TGP (N17S-G3) und unterschiedlicher Leistung geplant. Die LP (Low Power) Variante soll mit 746 - 936 MHz getaktet werden, die normale 25 Watt Variante bietet mit 1531 - 1594 MHz deutlich höhere Taktraten (+70% Boost).
