Der Intel Core i7-13650HX (in Leaks auch i5-13650HX) ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Raptor-Lake-Architektur für große und schwere Notebooks. Die CPU wurde Anfang 2022 vorgestellt. Die insgesamt 20 Threads unterteilen sich in P-Cores und E-Cores, die wir bereits von Alder-Lake her kennen. Der 13650HX bietet 6 Performance-Kerne (P-Cores) mit Hyperthreading die mit 2,6 GHz (Basistakt) bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost) takten. Die 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Cores) bieten kein Hyperthreading und takten von 1,9 - 3,6 GHz.
Die neue Raptor Lake Architektur bietet im Vergleich zu Alder Lake verbesserte P-Cores (Raptor Cove Architektur mit mehr Cache), mehr E-Cores (selbe Gracemont Architektur) und höhere Taktraten dank des verbesserten Intel 7 Prozesses. Weiters unterstützt Intel bei den Topmodellen nun schnelleren DDR5 Hauptspeicher (bis 5600 MHz bei den i9, jedoch nur 4800 MHz beim 13650HX).
Wie auch der Intel Core i5-12650HX bietet der Intel Core i7-13650HX eine integrierte Grafikeinheit . Als Basis dient weiterhin die Intel Iris Xe-Architektur. Rein leistungstechnisch hat sich bei der neuen Intel UHD Graphics (16 EU) aber nicht viel verändert.
Der 13650HX wird im weiter verbesserten 10nm FinFET Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt (Intel 7 Prozess) und ist spezifiziert mit 55 Watt Base Power und 157 Watt Turbo Power.
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D ► remove from comparison
Der AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D ist ein High-End-Desktop-Prozessor der Raphael Serie mit 16-Kernen und SMT (Simultaneous Multithreading), womit dieser in Summe bis zu 32 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Mit der Veröffentlichung im Februar 2023 ist der Ryzen 9 7950X3D der schnellste Consumer-Prozessor von AMD und das neue Topmodell der 7000er-Serie. Die CPU-Kerne takten von 4,2 GHz (Basistakt) bis zu 5,7 GHz (Einzelkern Turbo). Zudem besitzt der AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D einen CCD mit 8-Kernen, welcher dank des schnelleren 3D V-Cache erheblich mehr Gaming-Performance bietet.
Die Leistung des AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D ist durchweg bei allen getesteten Anwendungen hervorragend. Zudem konnte AMD konnte die Single-Thread-Performance erneut gegenüber den non-X3D-Modellen steigern. Dennoch muss aber durch den geringeren Basistakt im Vergleich zu dem AMD Ryzen9 7950X ein kleiner Abstrich bei der Multi-Thread-Leistung in Kauf genommen werden.
Der interne Aufbau des Prozessors ist mit dem bisherigen AMD Ryzen 9 7950X vergleichbar. Auch der AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D basiert weiterhin auf dem Chiplet-Design bestehend aus zwei CCD-Clustern mit jeweils 8-Kernen. Die beiden CCDs unterscheiden sich jedoch deutlich voneinander, denn einer bietet den schnellen 3D V-Cache, der primär die Gaming-Leistung verbessert. Im Test konnte der AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D den Intel Core i9-13900K in die Schranken weisen und ist zum Testzeitpunkt die schnellste Gaming-CPU auf dem Markt.
Der AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D ist mit bis zu 162 Watt (PPT) eine extrem energieeffiziente CPU und unter Last deutlich sparsamer als ein AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (max. 230 Watt).

Der Intel Core i5-13450HX ist eine Mittelklasse-CPU mit 10 Kernen auf Basis der neuen Raptor-Lake-Architektur für große und schwere Notebooks.
Die insgesamt 16 Threads unterteilen sich in P-Cores und E-Cores, die wir bereits von Alder-Lake her kennen. Der 13450HX bietet 6 Performance-Kerne (P-Cores) mit Hyperthreading und 4 Effizienzkerne (E-Cores) ohne Hyperthreading.
