Intel Core i3-1115G4 vs Intel Core i5-11400F vs Intel Core i7-1195G7

Der Intel Core i3-1115G4 ist ein sparsamer Dual-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Intel Core i5-1115G4 bietet zwei Kerne mit Hyperthreading (4 Threads) und 3 GHz Basistakt bis 4,1 GHz Turbo-Takt (auch wenn beide Kerne genutzt werden).
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1115G7 bietet die UHD Graphics jedoch nur 48 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1250 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
Intel Core i5-11400F ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-11400F ist ein schneller Sechs-Kern-Prozessor auf Basis der neuen Rocket-Lake-Architektur, die im März 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Der Prozessor taktet mit einem Basistakt von 2,6 GHz und erreicht unter Last einen All-Core-Boost von 4,2 GHz. Bei Single-Thread-Anwendungen erreicht der Intel Core i5-11400F sogar bis zu 4,4 GHz. Intel verpasst auch die Rocket-Lake-Prozessoren das Hyperthreading-Feature, womit der i5-11400F bis zu 12 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten kann. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i5-11400F wie bekannt, im 14-nm-Prozess. Dennoch wurden mit der Rocket-Lake-Architektur viele Änderungen vorgenommen, die sich auch in der Leistung im Vergleich zu den Comet-Lake widerspiegelt. Bei dem Intel Core i5-11400F handelt es sich um eine non-K-CPU, was im Umkehrschluss bedeutet, dass es keinen frei wählbaren Multiplikator gibt. Somit fällt der Spielraum zum Übertakten relativ klein aus.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i5-10400F bietet der Core i5-11400F eine deutlich bessere IPC. Das zeigt sich deutlich in den Single-Core-Benchmarks. Aber auch die Multi-Core-Performance profitiert von der besseren IPC im Vergleich zu Comet-Lake. Ein Leistungsplus von bis zu 20 Prozent kann erwartet werden. Beim Core i5 muss auf den TVB (Thermal Velocity Boost) verzichtet werden. Bei Belastung aller Kerne sind aber immerhin noch 4,2 GHz möglich. Aufgrund der sehr hohen Single-Thread-Leistung ist der Intel Core i5-11400F für Videospiele bestens geeignet.
Grafikeinheit
Die in der Nomenklatur mit "F" gekennzeichneten Prozessoren bieten keine integrierte Grafikeinheit. Alle anderen non-F-Prozessoren können auf die Intel UHD Graphics 750 zurückgreifen und ermöglichen auch einen Betrieb ohne eine dedizierte Grafikkarte.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die TDP fällt mit 65 Watt relativ gering aus. Dies ist der PL1-Wert. Für den Turbo bietet der Intel Core i5-11400F mit dem PL2 eine höhere TDP von bis zu 154 Watt. Diese dürfen aber nur maximal 28 Sekunden anliegen (Tau). Ein guter Luftkühler sollte mit der entstehenden Abwärme zurechtkommen, sodass bei diesem Prozessor keine AiO notwendig ist.
Intel Core i7-1195G7 ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i7-1195G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert Mitte 2021 als Refresh vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Basistakt liegt zwischen 1,3 GHz (12 Watt TDP) bis 3,9 GHz (28 Watt TDP). Der Turbo kann bis zu 5 GHz erreichen (einzelner Kern mit Turbo Boost 3.0). Alle Kerne können maximal 4,6 GHz erreichen. Zum Zeitpunkt der Vorstellung ist der i7-1195G7 das schnellste Tiger-Lake-Modell.
Die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet alle 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1400 MHz.
