The Vivo V25 Pro is an amazing deal if you want an above-average phone. It offers a good enough display with an amazing colorful viewing experience, decent battery life, a beautiful camera setup, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Overall, the phone is a pretty great deal if you are looking for a good combo of hardware and software. However, we won’t be denying that there are numerous options that fall into the same categories. In that case, we suggest you check out Xiaomi Civi 2 since it offers techie features with something new to offer. Aside from this, you can also look for Xiaomi Redmi K50i for better gaming performance. Finally, decide to choose the best deal according to your requirements.

The Vivo V25 Pro is a strong challenger to other top-tier mid-range phones despite some software bloat, and it represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor. However, its limited availability is a letdown, especially for consumers who want stellar cameras on a budget.

In terms of pricing, you can pick up the base model of the V25 Pro for around 450 bucks in the US, or around 450 Euros. At this price range, it’s got its sights set on phones like the Nothing Phone 1, Samsung Galaxy A53, and Pixel 6a to name a few. Considering everything that you get like the solid build quality, attractive design, capable chipset and good camera performance, it does make for a tempting choice, and Vivo fans looking for an upgrade will definitely love this one. There are some factors to consider though, like a heavily-skinned version of Android, which may or may not be to your liking, and folks after a more stock Android version of sorts might want to reconsider. But if that isn’t an issue at all for you, then the V25 Pro is a solid choice for a mid-range smartphone.

The big question with the V25 Pro 5G is, why is Vivo still charging a premium for it? If it's for features like the colour-changing back panel or the curved display, then I'm not sure how many buyers would actually be willing to pay a premium for such things. I feel Vivo really needs to rethink its pricing and strategy of its V-series, which up till the V20 Pro, was very appealing. Surprisingly, OnePlus managed to make better hardware choices and squeeze out consistent camera performance from its Nord 2T 5G, which is priced much lower starting at Rs. 28,999. In short, there's nothing really special apart from that curved edge-display which helps the Vivo V25 Pro 5G stand out. And then, there's the competition. Smartphones such as the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G (Review) and the iQoo Neo 6 5G (Review) run circles around the V25 Pro in terms of raw performance. There's even the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G (Review) (from Rs. 24,999) which offers excellent value, and the Nothing Phone 1 (Review) (from Rs. 32,999) which offers premium features such as wireless charging and an official IP52 rating. Despite having some solid improvements over its predecessor, the Vivo V25 Pro 5G is still hard to recommend when you have excellent alternatives in this segment.

The V25 Pro is a stunning smartphone in terms of looks. The color, the design, and the build are all top-notch. The specs are also very good for a mid-range smartphone. Based on those observations, it’s an excellent device, but adding the bloatware, Funtouch OS, and weak speakers; might turn some buyers off. I think, if you can get past the bloatware, it’s a fantastic phone.

There is much to like about the V25 Pro. Its attractive design has a large, beautiful display offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and its camera is very good. The RAM and storage options are generous, and the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC is highly capable. And unlike most of the phones sold in the US, Vivo includes plenty of useful accessories right in the box, including a case, a screen protector, wired headphones, etc., so there are no extra expenses.

The Vivo V25 Pro is a very good-looking all-rounder. It has an excellent camera, stylish design, and performs reasonably well in daily use. Pick this phone if you’re looking for something stylish and don’t mind paying a slight premium. But the problem really is the price for the Vivo V25 Pro, which at Rs 35,999 is higher than both Reno 8 and OnePlus Nord 2T powered by the same processor. There’s also Redmi K50i, which has a much more powerful processor to offer at a slightly lower price. Frankly, if you want much better performance, especially for gaming the Vivo V25 Pro might not be the right answer.

For anyone seeking an affordable smartphone with a capable camera, the Vivo V25 Pro is well worth a look - particularly if you take a lot of selfies. The 32MP front-facing camera is a highlight and is backed up by some great software features. What's more, it offers great battery life, a lovely display and solid performance throughout. The looks won't be for everyone, but there's a high standard of fit and finish, and even the unusual UV-reactive party trick to show off. However, there are some downsides. The amount of bloatware was disappointing for us, as was the presence of the sub-par ultrawide and macro lenses. Depending on where you live, you may also have trouble getting your hands on one. The phone is also only available in India, right now, but it will be launched in over 20 regions across Southeast Asia before the end of the year. Hopefully, we'll see it launch elsewhere, too.

The Vivo V25 Pro is a great mid-range phone that combines a lot of what I thought made the OnePlus Nord 2T great with a more expensive-looking design and a slightly larger screen. Its primary camera performs remarkably well in tough situations despite the use of a slightly worse sensor than a couple of the best-equipped phones at the price. And while the MediaTek Dimensnity 1300 is not as high-profile as some Qualcomm alternatives, it does the job admirably even in demanding games. A mono speaker that, while loud, sounds a bit shouty at higher volumes is the one hardware issue. The more pertinent problem may be actually getting hold of a Vivo V25 Pro at the right price. While it’s great value at its RRP in countries in which Vivo is a big name, these phones just aren’t distributed that widely in the west. And, for all its strengths, this phone gets less appealing if you end up paying more for it — there’s just too much competition to warrant paying over the asking price.

The Vivo V25 Pro is a solid mid-range smartphone that, on the surface, can easily compete with popular mid-rangers like the Nothing Phone (1) and OnePlus Nord 2T, boasting a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Dimensity 1300 chipset, a fairly decent 64Mp rear snapper and all-day battery life – but it’s a little rougher around the edges than the popular mid-rangers. There isn’t any official resistance against dust or water, nor is there any mention of any toughened glass on the front or rear. There’s also the issue with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 12, which comes with plenty of bloatware (literally folders full), is awkward to use compared to stock Android and, without a software update commitment, it might not even get the update to Android 13, let alone 14, like some mid-range competition. So yes, the Vivo V25 Pro is certainly a looker, and there’s a lot to like about the hardware, but it’s not quite the perfect mid-range smartphone.

While reviewing the Vivo V25 Pro, we found it to be quite a decent offering from the company. It's not a powerhouse, naturally, but it can hardly be called a slouch. The gorgeous screen is plenty enough to look at, but its main and selfie cameras definitely help make its case stronger. It's definitely not perfect, with so-so battery life and barely decent audio. There are some flaws that can be overlooked when looking at a smartphone on this tier, and it would have been just fine if we left it at that. That said, it doesn't exist in isolation, and its market strength will ultimately be judged by how well it can stand out from its peers. In that sense, unfortunately, it might not have enough to actually make it the best choice in any aspect, though its camera performance comes very close. And with a price range of $450 to $500, it's hardly the cheapest. It has plenty of competition in this range, such as the OnePlus Nord 2T (or even the Nord N20 5G), the OPPO Reno 8, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, the Nothing Phone (1), and the Google Pixel 6a, just to name a few.

The all-new Vivo V25 Pro is no doubt a good mid-range phone. Its unique design, amazing display, powerful performance and potent primary camera make it a good all-rounder. On top of that, you get 66W fast charging support which is really nice to have. However, there is still some room for improvement. The selfie camera could have been better. Also, though the performance is more than enough for casual use and moderate gaming, it falls short if you are a heavy user and gaming enthusiast. I would have appreciated if there were stereo speakers, but it’s not a deal breaker. All in all, Vivo V25 Pro is out there for those who prefer stylish design and good cameras.

Even if you ignore the funky fluorite glass, the V25 Pro puts in a decent showing across the board. Performance is zippy, the main camera is capable and the screen is a step above many similarly-priced handsets. That you can get creative with cases and cutouts whenever you like is a nice bonus. Vivo phones aren’t the easiest to come by in the UK, though. Is there enough here to consider hunting down a grey import? We’re not so sure. The Nothing Phone 1, Google Pixel 6a, OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and Samsung A53 5G are all compelling alternatives that are easier to get hold of, and might even cost less by the time you’ve faffed about with exchange rates. None of them best its feature set in all aspects, but absolutely have it beat in one or two places. If you live somewhere where Vivo operates, though? There’s still plenty to like.

Vivo V25 Pro comes with a starting price tag of Rs 35,999. The smartphone packs a powerful processor, a well-rounded camera and also comes with fast charging support. The pretty-looking smartphone will also impress you with its design and vibrant display performance. It can also handle casual gaming and the nearly stock Android feel will be liked by many. If you want a good camera phone which also performs well, then you go for this one.

The vivo V25 Pro is, by all accounts, a solid midranger. It looks and feels great, has a great display, adequate performance, good battery life and a pretty great overall camera quality and experience. However, it fails to truly shine in any particular department. It seems that vivo just decided not to shoot for excellence with this one. Whether voluntarily or due to other circumstances, the V25 Pro feels like it was never meant to impress truly. It definitely falls short of its vivo V23 Pro predecessor in at least a few major ways. Plus, while the V25 Pro is reasonably priced, it does not position itself aggressively on the market and rubs shoulders with quite a few excellent devices within its segment. Don't get us wrong, it is a perfectly capable and well-rounded device which we can't find any particular major fault with. It's just that it does not exist in isolation and fails to deliver a signature or halo feature. Since that is the case, it wouldn't be our first choice and recommendation unless you get the vivo V23 Pro for a great deal.

The Vivo V25 Pro was released in August 2022 and the phone attained a rough price figure of $450 (Rs 35,999 in India) approx. In terms of specifications, the Vivo V25 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.56-inches AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, 1,300 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. In terms of the storage department, you will receive 8GB to 12GB RAM support, while you can choose from 128GB to 256GB of internal storage. For photography and videography, there are triple rear cameras with a 64MP primary camera with OIS support, 12MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. Besides this, you get a 32MP selfie lens in this smartphone. Thankfully, both cameras can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensor, and an Under display optical fingerprint sensor. The Li-Po 4830 mAh battery with 66W fast charging is available in the Vivo V25 Pro smartphone. Pick this smartphone in the Pure Black and Sailing Blue color options.

Yes. If you're looking for a smartphone that's really good at photography and videography, but you don't want to spend so much on a flagship device, you should go for the Vivo V25 Pro. This smartphone ticks all the right boxes if you're into photography—an excellent sensor setup, a ton of filters and guides, specialized modes, and more. Of course, you're bound to get some compromises at this price. The phone doesn't have any IP rating, nor does it have stereo sound. And its Android skin, Funtouch 12, is filled with a lot of bloatware you can't remove. But if you must have the best camera at a price you can afford, these compromises are worth tolerating.

The Vivo V25 Pro is a typical camera smartphone that targets the shutterbugs along with a fun design. The main camera is here to rule the photography sessions - especially to overcome the dark light situations. Despite losing a front camera sensor, I haven't faced any major quality drop in the daylight selfies. The finer Mediatek Dimensity 1300 chipset plays a great role in taking care of all basic as well as gaming needs. And that curved display is Vivo's Trump card here! A rare offering to find at this price. Still, there is always room for improvement. The selfie camera could be better at night. I would have also liked to see a stereo speaker setup on the phone. The colour-changing trick is fun to watch but it is kind of old-fashioned now, especially after the magic the transparent Nothing Phone (1) does with its Glyph Lights! Moreover, FunTouch OS 12 still has a long way ahead to make the experience on par with modern Android skins. Keeping the tough competition in mind, the Nothing Phone (1) is a better offering with a bold design, clean UI, decent cameras, wireless charging and overall performance in this range. Oppo's Reno 8 with the same Dimensity 1300 chipset and more-or-less same specs is another alternative at a much cheaper price.

The Vivo V25 Pro’s pricing can be a bit tricky to work around. On one hand, you will be hard-pressed to find a better-looking phone in the budget flagship space. However, the choice of processor coupled with the handset’s mono speaker setup plays to the detriment of the device. Be that as it may, the V25 Pro looks the part of a premium product and offers a gorgeous, curved display too. Add to that the device’s long-lasting battery backup and the V25 Pro is a decent option to consider in the flagship-killer space.

Yes, definitely if you want an all-rounder smartphone. The Vivo V25 Pro is capable of delivering some great daylight shots, and decent low light as well when there is some light. Apart from camera, design is one of its strongest suits. It has a unique colour-changing back panel and a curved display, which you don't usually get in the lower price range. The general performance and battery life are also good. However, do keep in mind that there is no storage expansion support and dual speakers. But these are not a deal breaker. As far as alternatives to Vivo V25 Pro are concerned, you can consider Nothing Phone (1) and Poco F4.
