Obviously, the question applies most directly to Verizon users — unless you get your grubby hands on an unlocked model somehow. That caveat aside, the aesthetic weaknesses of the phone are not powerful enough detriments to dent the phone’s overall appeal. Users aren’t buying an oil painting. They’re in the market for an Android smartphone, and the Z3v is a prime communication device.

Overall, the Xperia Z3v is an attractive and solid phone. It also has a very good camera with some extra shooting features you won’t find on other smartphones, which is another plus. Although the display isn’t the highest resolution we’ve seen to date, it’s still offers a good viewing experience and doesn’t require a ton of GPU horsepower to keep things moving smoothly.

While the Z3v is certainly not a true Z3 on Verizon, it’s still a fantastic phone. Is it worth $200 on contract? If you want a phone that can get you through the day with a great display, great smartphone camera, and great performance then you should check out the Z3v. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the hardware design, it melts away when you’re staring at the beautiful display. Sony’s software may not be the greatest looking either, but between third party launchers like Nova, icon packs like Audux, and third party lock screens like AcDisplay you can make a lot of that ugliness go away and really enjoy the phone.

While the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 get all of the attention, the Sony Xperia Z3v deserves a serious look, especially if you care about photo quality. The 20.7-MP sensor captures sharp and detailed images, and puts the Z3v at the top of our short list for best smartphone cameras. Add in 4K video recording and a dedicated shutter button, and you have a phone that captures better photos and movies than most point-and-shoots.

The idea of recycling phones isn’t a new concept in the business, as many companies have seemingly come out with newer phones that look, feel, and even have similar specs to previous phones. The Sony Xperia Z3v is absolutely one of those phones, since its name implies that it’s a variant of the Z3. However, after checking out the phone in great detail, we can certainly agree that it also has a lot in common with the Xperia Z2.

Das jüngste Modell der Xperia-Serie ist das neue Sony Xperia Z3v, ein exklusiv bei Verizon erhältliches Model des Xperia Z3 mit ähnlicher Hardware und geringfügig geändertem Design. Das Xperia Z3v wirkt ziemlich ähnlich wie seine Vorgänger und nutzt das übliche monolithische, rechteckige Design. Gummi verläuft entlang des Kanten des Metallrahmens und macht das Phone ziemlich resistent gegen Schäden durch Stöße. Zudem gibt es Abdeckungen für alle Schnittstellen. Sind diese geschlossen, so ist das Xperia Z3v wirksam wasserdicht und staubresistent.

Sony ist in der Fernseh- und Kameraindustrie sehr gut etabliert und diese Stärke bemerkt man beim Xperia Z3v. Der 5,2 Zoll große 1080p IPS-Bildschirm sieht unter allen Winkeln und sogar bei natürlichem Licht knackig aus. Das Xperia verfügt zudem über eine 20,7 MP Cyber-Shot-Kamera, eine der besten Smartphone-Kameras für Fotos von hoher Qualität und HD-Videoaufnahmen. Das Xperia Z2v bietet auch ein neues einzigartiges Merkmal: kabelloses Remote-Play einer PlayStation 4. Für Hardcore-Gamer ist optional eine Halterung für den PS4-Controller am Phone  erhältlich, mit welcher sie dieses neue Feature genießen können. Kurzum, das Sony Xperia Z3v ist ein ziemlich ausgewogenes Phone. Es sieht großartig aus, ist resistent gegen Beschädigungen aus der Umwelt und bietet, um den Handel zu besiegeln, eine großartige Kamera.

Serie: Sony's Xperia Z5 comes in 3 major versions, known as standard, premium and compact. The material choice is a very nice glass front and a back with metal construction wrapping all around the phone. Sony has always been recognized for having one of if not the best cameras on their phones. The Xperia Z5 features the latest sensor with 23 MP, 5520 х 4140 pixels, phase detection, autofocus, and LED flash. It is capable of video recording at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, and 720p@120fps with HDR function available. All 3 versions come with the new fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the side of the phone where the power button is. Another great design of the phone is its stereo front facing speakers. The Xperia Z5 phones are IP68 certified, i.e. dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes.

The compact version has a 4.6 inch 720 x 1280 pixels Triluminos display. Because of its lower price it is not as big and high-resolution than the standard model. The hardware of the Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) system includes a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 consisting of 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Cortex A43 Quad Core CPUs and an Adreno 430 GPU. The only difference of the compact model to the standard model is that it does not have 3 GB of RAM. However, due to its lower screen resolution it should have no problems with only 2 GB of RAM. The non-removable Lithium-Ion battery rated at 2700 mAh is smaller than the standard model's. Sony claims that it will last up to 2 days. In addition, this device comes with 32 GB of flash memory and the storage capacity can be expanded with a microSD by up to 200 GB.
