Der AMD Phenom II X4 P960 ist ein mit lediglich 1.8 GHz getakteter 4-Kern Prozessor für Notebooks. Er bietet keinen Level 3 Cache (im Gegensatz zum Desktop Phenom II) und dadurch ist die Performance besonders bei Single-Thread Anwendungen nicht sehr schnell. Die Leistung liegt je nach Auslastung der 4 Kerne zwischen einem 1.5 - 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo (Einzelkern) bis zu einem Core i3-330M (alle Kerne in Verwendung).

Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt maximal DDR3-1066. Gefertigt wird die CPU im 45nm SOI Prozess.

Der AMD Phenom II X4 N950 ist ein mobiler Quad-Core Prozessor für Notebooks und wahrscheinlich verwandt zum Desktop Athlon II X4 da ohne Level 3 Cache. Die CPU bietet 512 KB Level 2 Cache pro Kern und eine 128 Bit FPU. Die CPU bietet ausserdem einen integrierter DDR3 Speicherkontroller und wird in 45nm gefertigt. Durch den fehlenden Level 3 Cache, ist die Performance nur mit einem Core 2 Quad Q9000 vergleichbar und somit nur auf dem Niveau eines Core i3-330M - 350M.
