The conclusion of the Oppo F21 Pro 4G and F21 Pro 5G are great phones in the mid-range. But at the same time, they are not offering something new that will attract the interested buyer. Undeniably, both devices offer impressive features and specs. Both the phones feel overpriced, while there are a lot of better options available in the market. The best alternative for both devices would be the Vivo iQOO Neo 6 smartphone as it brings better specs, decent refresh rate, and long-lasting battery life. But if you are looking for a better 4G option, we highly prefer you to take a look at the Vivo V23e 4G for the all-rounder attributes.

The Reno7 left a pretty positive impression on us after a couple of weeks of reviewing. It feels nice in hand, the faux leather and color team up to create a design unlike the mainstream midranger, and the splash resistance is a welcome checkmark on the spec sheet. The roomy 128GB base storage and the 8gigs of RAM don't hurt its case either, while battery life is a particularly strong suit. We even got more than what we expected out of the camera, particularly in terms of zoom results, and even the microscope is fun, if a little gimmicky. The microscope is no ultrawide camera, unfortunately, and the omission of that particular camera, which we know to be one of the cheaper components (for a modest one befitting the Reno7's stature), is rubbing us the wrong way. Low-light results out of the main camera aren't spectacular either, and the barebones video recording capabilities are another manifestation of what is a relatively low-end chipset. All things considered, the Reno7 can't be a straight-up recommendation simply because more well-rounded alternatives exist, often at the same or lower price.

The OPPO F21 Pro is a great smartphone for its top-notch and brilliant features, it has among the slimmest and lightest designs we have seen so far (7.54 mm / 7.49 mm), and its Fiberglass leather design is a standout from the crowd, on top of it, an IPx4 waterproof design. It also flaunts its unique and beautiful Orbit LED Light that glows on notifications, calls, and SMS to remind you. It does fairly well with its cameras, the micro-lens is something you would want to play with, and the selfie camera takes mind-boggling shots. For the rest, it has a 90 Hz AMOLED screen, a decent Snapdragon 680 CPU, the latest ColorOS 12 perks (Android 12), and comes in a big 8 GB RAM variant. The 33W fast charging is fast enough to charge the phone fully in an hour and a few minutes. If you are looking for a fabulous smartphone with a wonderful selfie camera, the OPPO F21 Pro is highly suggested, it is loaded with extraordinary features. The price for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant is ₹22,999 which you can grab at ongoing bank discounts. The OPPO F21 Pro is also available in 5G, the price starts at ₹26,999.

This actually depends on what are your top priorities in buying a phone under Rs 25,000. If you want a smartphone for basic needs, the Oppo F21 Pro can serve you well in that department. The general performance is fine, but gamers should look elsewhere. Selfie lovers won’t be disappointed by this phone and will likely be pleased by the results. The rear camera setup is capable of producing some good daylight shots. The Oppo F21 Pro offers a unique and lightweight design that makes it stand out in a sea of phones in the segment. The fact that Oppo is selling a 4G phone under Rs 25,000 price range is a little disappointing, considering the competition is offering a lot more, along with a powerful 5G chip. The 4G model of the device is available for Rs 22,999. Some of the good alternatives to the Oppo F21 Pro are Realme 9 SE, and Xiaomi 11 Lite.

I won’t beat around the bush at all – the OPPO F21 Pro is a lot of things but a performance champ it is not. That said, if you’re in the market for a stylish phone with a unique design then you’ll find plenty to like about OPPO’s latest offering. It also helps that the device boots Android 12, offers a solid battery backup and clicks high-quality photos with its main sensor. Correspondingly, if you can get by with the phone’s Snapdragon 680 SoC, the OPPO F21 Pro is a decent buy. However, if you are a performance fiend, you will be better off with devices like the Realme 9 SE 5G (review), which cost less albeit are better suited for demanding tasks like gaming.

There’s no doubt that the F21 Pro’s main focus is how it looks and how it feels. Oppo F21 Pro is a solid mid-range phone with a wide range of features. In addition, the device includes SuperVOOC fast charging as well as the most recent version of the Android OS. A few things are missing, such as dust and water protection and stereo speakers. Furthermore, the F21 Pro’s underlying chipset makes it feel somewhat out of place in the midst of a growing market of competitors. However, it still tends to impress on a regular basis because of its solid performance. We’ll have a full review of the F21 Pro very soon so stay tuned with Cashify.

The OPPO F21 Pro has one of the slimmest and lightest designs so far, does well with its cameras, comes with an AMOLED display, packs ColorOS 12 perks, and offers 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. What’s surprising about its camera is the 30x microlens that you won’t find in this segment as of now. The price for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is ₹22,999 which you can get at a 10% discount using various bank cards. The OPPO F21 Pro is also available in 5G, the price starts at ₹26,999.

Another feature borrowed from the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is the ‘Orbit light', which is placed around the periphery of one of the F21 Pro's rear camera lenses rather than the entire module. It's also white rather than blue. You can't change the colour but you can choose when it lights up, such as when charging or when you get an alert from a specific app. There's no shortage good smartphones under Rs. 25,000 in India right now. We have some solid 5G-capable options such as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G (Review) and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G (Review), along with strong 4G options such as the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion (Review). Oppo's F21 Pro faces stiff competition and it'll be interesting to see whether the company's focus on design can help this phone stand out despite its questionable hardware choices. We'll have a full review of the F21 Pro and the F21 Pro 5G for you very soon. In the meantime, we're interested to know if you would be willing to sacrifice certain hardware and features for a better looking smartphone, so leave a comment below.

Oppo has been offering feature-rich smartphones at a decent price range and the F21 Pro is surely an addition to the list. The phone not only sports a trend-setting design but also offers great camera performance and battery life. Though the Snapdragon 680 chip manages the workloads decently, I feel a more powerful chipset could have justified the price better. The same goes for a higher refresh rate display, even though the gains are barely noticeable. The phone still manages to impress with its decent daily performance by handling everything thrown at it without showing any lag. However, if cameras and design aren't your thing, you can check out the competition from Xiaomi, Realme, Motorola, and Vivo. The Xiaomi 11i for a bit more money gives you a bigger display, more powerful chipset, and a faster charging with even better battery life. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is another option to consider. And gamers shouldn't forget the iQOO Z5.
