All of which leads us to the verdict, which is another positive one for OnePlus. Not only does the OnePlus 10 Pro squeeze in most of the features you’d expect of a flagship phone at a more reasonable price than rivals, but it also does so while not compromising too much in any particular area. The only problem – and it’s a fairly major one – is that it lacks an IP rating for dust and water resistance. At this price and on a flagship phone, it’s an absolute must-have and the only thing holding the OnePlus 10 Pro back from a wholehearted recommendation.

Testing the OnePlus 10 Pro made it clear to me that the phone is a product of an Oppo-ified OnePlus — and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The backing of BBK’s favorite child has facilitated more consistent imaging, better battery life, fewer bugs, and a generally pleasant user experience. It’s also got some high highs in the gorgeous display and one-two punch of super-fast charging and improved battery life. Unfortunately, the merger has resulted in a phone that’s generic. The software lacks that once signature OnePlus personality and the lack of attention to detail across the entire package is telling. The steps back taken by the camera, the lack of an IP rating for the unlocked model, the imbalanced speakers, and missing flagship extras like mmWave 5G emphasize that the days of never settling are gone.

The 10 Pro is OnePlus all grown up. The days of a scrappy upstart challenger are gone — that much was clear with last year’s 9 and 9 Pro, with true flagship specs and prices to match. This year, OnePlus has sharpened its vision of a legitimate flagship phone to challenge the big brands, and the result is a sophisticated, sleek device. It’s not just a cheaper flagship; it’s a real alternative to Samsung and Google, with an identity all its own. That’s not to say that OnePlus has entirely closed the gap between itself and the big Android brands. The 10 Pro’s $899 price makes more sense than last year’s $1,069 9 Pro. (There was a less expensive version, but it never came to the US.) But at the same price, there are good reasons to consider the Pixel 6 Pro or the $999 Galaxy S22 Plus over the 10 Pro. OnePlus has some work to do to catch up to those competitors in the camera department, for one. And OnePlus doesn’t provide software security updates for as long as Google or Samsung, which guarantee five years of support after launch.

It is fair to say that OnePlus no longer offers the best value for money when it comes to smartphones. While its devices have gotten better, the 10 Pro still has room for improvement to really warrant its price. The display is great, the processor snappy, and it has longer battery life than most. However, there's still work to be done with the camera technology and that may well be the deciding factor for consumers. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a good handset, but there's much better value for money elsewhere.

So, essentially, what the OnePlus 10 Pro brings to the table is a stellar performance, extreme smoothness, a controversial (for some) but perfectly adequate for most software experience, good battery life, and cameras that, while good, aren't among the best out there. While the OnePlus 10 Pro is the most expensive OnePlus you can buy, competing brands do have even steeper priced offerings, and yes, those generally beat the 10 Pro when it comes to camera quality, but you are literally paying for that with their higher price tags. If you're fine with not sporting the best smartphone cameras in your pocket, care a lot about performance and smoothness, don't mind a 'less pure' skin on top of Android than OxygenOS used to be, and don't need to extract ten hours of screen on time during a day of use from the battery, then this OnePlus could be for you. There aren't any glaring problems with it, and it's a very good phone overall, just not the best at any specific thing aside from smoothness.

The OnePlus 10 Pro impressed me from the minute I took it out of the box. From benchmarks to the cameras, this phone is incredibly good. And now that it's only $799, it's arguably the best high-end Android phone for the money. While I think the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 6 Pro are stronger camera phones overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro cameras are not an afterthought. The OnePlus 9 Pro started to change OnePlus’ reputation for mediocre camera quality, and the 10 Pro continues that push. It seems the Hasselblad partnership is paying off. The OnePlus 10 Pro receives an easy recommendation from me. Cameras, battery life, display, this phone does just about everything right. It might lack the S Pen, but I think it gives the Galaxy S22 Ultra some serious competition, all for $300 less. OnePlus did a great job this year, even better than 2021. The OnePlus 10 Pro is my new favorite Android phone.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has excellent color rendering and comes with good readability in indoor conditions. It is a bit difficult to read in outdoor and low-light conditions, but more importantly, it does not offer a good experience when watching HDR10 videos. The gaming experience is smooth and comfortable, although aliasing is visible and corners are not very responsive to touch. We compared the OnePlus 10 Pro to its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro, as well as to two direct competitors, the Oppo Find X5 Pro and the Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Plenty of reviews say that for the $899 price point, the OnePlus 10 Pro is one of the best Android phones for the money. However, while its camera array is impressive – and a big update over previous OnePlus flagships – many say the camera system on the Google Pixel 6 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro give you better colors. Still, the OnePlus 10 Pro cameras are nothing to sneeze at. Its display is also a huge selling point (and we mean that literally, too). The in-display fingerprint reader is a nice touch as is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which should be more than enough power to keep mobile gamers happy–especially with the display’s 120Hz refresh rate. The one reason the OnePlus 10 Pro might not appeal to hardcore Android fans is because of the operating system. It features OnePlus’ OxygenOS, which is based on Android 12. So you’ll be getting OnePlus’s version of Android, not Google’s vision for it as you do on the Pixel 6 series. Still, if your budget for an Android flagship is around the $900/£799 range, you could do much worse than snapping up this phone.

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a very cool phone. I think it’s easily the most accomplished smartphone OnePlus has cooked up, although I can see some of the ColorOS changes being a little controversial. It feels significantly more polished than the typical OnePlus offering at the expense of the more speedy stock feel that older software had. The US version also makes some painful tradeoffs, like missing 5G support on AT&T, no IP certification on the unlocked models of the phone, and only three years of guaranteed updates. However, that $899 price tag is much easier to swallow than last year’s $1000 asking price. Amazon has also regularly discounted the 10 Pro even further, if you’re searching for a deal. I think it’s a great phone, and at the right price it’s a killer alternative to the Galaxy S22. If you’re looking to get into OnePlus’s ecosystem, this is the phone to do it with.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a really comfortable device to hold with stunning hardware. OnePlus 10 Pro offers up one of the best displays on a smartphone right now, with high-end power and performance, outstanding battery life, a fluid user experience and a unique design. I’ve been testing one for the last few months and it’s yet another great flagship from the Pete Lau firm. The phone was released in China back in January and this seems to have lessened the impact of its global launch from a PR point of view. But in terms of the tech on board, OnePlus 10 Pro is one of the most affordable devices carrying the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. At $US899 or around $1300 at current conversion rates, the OnePlus 10 Pro hits a price point that is below the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22+ while falling directly in line with the base model S22 and Google’s Pixel 6 Pro. But is it worth the hassle of importing one for Australians? It certainly offers quite a bit for the money particularly when it comes to raw performance, charging speeds and display. It’s narrower design and balanced weight distribution means it also feels much more comfortable to hold in the hand. There’s also no manufacturer or carrier bloatware, making it a solid alternative to Samsung’s S22 line. However, there’s no denying that the Pixel 6 Pro is still a better all round phone with a unique and stellar software experience and superior camera quality.

However, one thing that does stand out is the fantastic charge times the phone can get when paired to the 80 Watt Super VOOC Charger that comes with the unit. This can charge the phone from 0 to full in around 30 minutes time, and defies the competitors, who have withdrawn the provision of a charger out of the box. plus min. For what it offers in terms of hardware, features and performance, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a worthy contender for low price powerhouse, though there is a caveat. The brand does not have a full-fledged customer service operations, so paying that much for little to no support isn’t something that most people can deal with. With a DXOMARK Camera score of 127, the OnePlus 10 Pro cannot keep up with the best devices in the Ultra-Premium segment. It performs on a similar level as slightly older devices, such as the Apple iPhone 12 Pro and the Oppo Find X2 Pro. Overall, the device delivers a well-balanced performance and does well in all conditions except low light, where we observed some color and exposure issues. The 10 Pro has been slightly improved over its predecessor, the 9 Pro, in most areas, but image quality on the ultra-wide camera has made a step backward. In photo mode, the 10 Pro does perform well overall, but we would have expected more from a flagship device. While image quality is generally pretty high in outdoor and indoor conditions — images show a very good texture/noise trade-off and exposure is usually accurate, with wide dynamic range — there are issues in low light. Color in general could be better, too, and the autofocus is comparatively slow.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is for OnePlus fans only. The camera is fun to use, but at this price, most users will be a lot happier with a Galaxy S22+ or a Pixel 6 Pro. There’s a part of me that loves this device, and it’s all because of the camera, the screen and the haptics. The battery and its ability to fast charge are nice touches too. Plus, as much as I complain about OnePlus stripping out camera features, I’d take the OnePlus 10 Pro over the 9 Pro for the enhanced colour science and 10-bit images. There’s nothing stopping OnePlus from adding those features to the 9 Pro, but I doubt the company will. Even after all this, I’ll likely still often pick up the OnePlus 10 Pro to use its camera, but it’s not going to become my work phone any time soon, and I’d be really mad if it was this buggy and I'd just spent over $1,000 on it. Hopefully, next year OnePlus can do something to wow us, but unless the software support is ironed out, my faith in the company will continue to be difficult to rebuild.

OnePlus has set its eyes on the premium flagship segment in the Philippines with the 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t change the smartphone game – because the company that made it no longer needs to pretend that that's its goal. The 10 Pro finds itself not-so-precariously perched between the people who used to love OnePlus, and the people who just want a competitive phone, competently executed. And because there are far more folks in the latter group than the former, the 10 Pro makes mostly the right decisions ... even if that means it's ultimately selling out. MrMobile’s OnePlus 10 Pro Review was produced following two weeks with a 10 Pro review sample provided by OnePlus, tested on AT&T and T-Mobile in the Northeastern United States. The device received one software update during the review process, to version NE2215_11_A.12. Google’s Pixel 6 Pro ($899) is perhaps the most direct alternative to the 10 Pro. It’s the same price but has drastically better cameras, tougher glass, and an IP rating. Heck, you could even drop to the Pixel 6 ($599) and still enjoy a lot of the same flagship perks and save yourself a whopping $300. Moving up the cost ladder you might consider the Galaxy S22 Plus ($999), which is a superb and balanced offering from Samsung. It packs excellent battery life and a well-tuned combination of size, usability, camera prowess, and power. Similarly, the iPhone 13 Pro ($999) surpasses the 10 Pro in most performance segments, particularly the camera. These devices are worth the extra money. As OnePlus is subsumed by Oppo, it’s clear that the former’s strategy is changing. Fans have certainly witnessed those changes with each successive release. The OnePlus 10 Pro feels like it’s 60% OnePlus genetic material mixed in with 40% of Oppo’s. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but we certainly hope the future offspring of the two brands are more well-rounded than the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Despite the obvious influence Oppo's presence has had over the OnePlus 10 Pro's development, the phone retains its individuality; feeling different enough from bedfellows like the Find X5 Pro and Realme's GT 2 Pro. Where Oppo has exerted its influence, however, the changes are more strange than definitively good or bad. The OnePlus 10 Pro offers up one of the best displays on the market right now, delivers great top-tier performance, exceptional battery life, a slick user experience and a standout albeit somewhat divisive design. The phone's biggest weakness is, as ever, its camera, which like so many OnePlus flagships before it, will likely require numerous post-launch patches to bring it in line with competitors. With its strengths in mind, see how it stacks up against our rundown of the current best phones on the market, as well as the best Android phones specifically, phones offering the best battery life and see where it slots in amidst the best OnePlus phones too.

The phone is mostly covered in glass so wrapping it in a case is wise, and there’s no water resistance either. OnePlus promises three years of Android operating system updates and four years of security updates, which is decent support for the future, although not as comprehensive as Samsung or Google’s support. However, it’s a seriously powerful phone with 5G, so it’s reasonable to expect it to last for three years at least before you consider an upgrade. Yes. It’s frustrating the OnePlus-ness has been watered down in the OnePlus 10 Pro, but it’s still supremely capable, great to look at, and available at a reasonable price. The OnePlus 10 Pro's pretty design, high specification, decent camera, and fast charging make it worth the money, but it's let down by the software.

And at $899 (£799, roughly AU$1,400), the phone is competitively priced against high-end rivals like the Galaxy S22 Ultra ($1,200) and iPhone 13 Pro ($999). It offers similar performance, 5G and a smooth, approachable interface. However, it's let down slightly by mediocre low-light camera performance, a lack of an official IP water resistance rating on most versions of the phone and a few omissions when it comes to the US models.

OnePlus has taken another step in the evolution of its flagship offerings, and it’s a good one. This feels like a device that knows what it is and who it’s for, more so than the 9 and 9 Pro. But it’s tough to recommend this phone when the Pixel 6 Pro is right there, at the same price, with full 5G support on every carrier and a much better camera system. The Galaxy S22 Plus is a little more expensive, but it also has a better camera system, broader 5G support, and will get an additional year of OS upgrades, so that extra $100 might be money well spent in the long run.

Priced Rs 66,999 onwards, the OnePlus 10 Pro is an undersell compared to premium smartphones from established brands such as Samsung and Apple. It, however, seems a tad expensive compared to premium flagship smartphones from other Chinese brands such as Xiaomi and Realme. That said, the OnePlus 10 Pro is not about its price but what it brings to the table. It is a different kind of smartphone with a unique camera system, dazzling display, bold design, and swift performance. It, however, does not feel like a OnePlus smartphone simply because its user experience is heavily influenced by OPPO. While at some places the phone shines because of OPPO features, there are many bland experiences too. Therefore, consider the OnePlus 10 Pro for the novel experience backed by classic OnePlus strengths in areas like design and performance.

As its latest flagship offering, the OnePlus 10 Pro brings the best in class hardware and is trying to be a cut above the OnePlus 9 Pro. But does it pack in enough upgrades to offer a familiar experience or has OnePlus finally settled with the ten? We find out in this OnePlus 10 Pro review.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a good alternative to a top-spec Google or Samsung Android phone. It offers a potent combination of speed, rapid charging, long battery life and big screen in an attractive, svelte body. The new OxygenOS software is generally good, if not quite as slick as previous versions. You will get four years of software updates from release, which is longer than previous OnePlus phones but a year or more short of Google, Samsung or Apple. The camera is slightly improved all round and generally very usable but it is still OnePlus’s weakest link, unable to trouble the best in the business. These slight knocks can be overlooked at £799, which is good value for a high-end phone, undercutting Google’s excellent value Pixel 6 Pro by £50 and the parent company Oppo’s Find X5 Pro by £250. If you want a good, premium Android phone not made by Samsung or Google, the OnePlus 10 Pro is the one to get.

Comparing this cut-price flagship phone to other top-end mobiles is a bit of a rough ride for the OnePlus 10 Pro. Even so, it stands up to the test in most departments. In terms of build quality, photography, user experience, battery life and most other features, it’s more or less right up there and all for a smaller outlay. And, while it can’t quite reach the same heights on the video front, what you get for the price difference is actually very comparable. Listening to music, though, is where you’ll notice the biggest downgrade. The audio performance is just not in the same class as the best flagship phones, nor really quite good enough for the step-down in outlay either. It makes a perfectly passable listen but ‘passable’ doesn’t win you five stars.

If you’re on T-Mobile, sure it’s a great buy. But if you’re on Verizon or AT&T, you may need to think twice – specifically AT&T. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a good phone, but unlike the Galaxy S22 series, it is not a good phone for everyone. The camera can still use some work, 5G is a mess (even more than the carriers make it out to be), and so forth. During this review of the OnePlus 10 Pro, I’ve been struggling to decide if and how I can recommend this phone. At $899, it’s right there with the Pixel 6 Pro and Galaxy S22+ in the US (obviously, Europe has a lot more options). The Pixel 6 Pro is $999 and sold on all the carriers, while also supporting all of their 5G networks. It has better cameras, better software and will get more software updates. The same thing with the OnePlus 10 Pro when compared to the Galaxy S22+. And it’s only $100 more – though you can likely get them on sale for $899 or much less with trade ins. Ultimately, the decision is up to you. But OnePlus could have done a better job at competing with Samsung and Google.

In the 10 Pro, OnePlus has provided a reasonably-priced flagship that is undoubtedly one of the best-looking and best performing phones of 2022. Should you spring for one? If you already have a OnePlus 9 series phone, for instance, there’s not really much of a compelling reason to upgrade unless you just want the latest model. If you’re still rocking the OnePlus 8T (or an even older model) and you’re a T-Mobile customer, then the OnePlus 10 Pro seems like an obvious choice. If you aren’t a T-Mobile customer, and you’re satisfied with the 4G/LTE speeds in your area — or if the 5G speeds in your area aren’t that much better than 4G/LTE seeds, then the OnePlus 10 Pro is an excellent choice.

This is undoubtedly a really impressive flagship smartphone. The fast charging, battery performance, really good display and excellent performance all combine to make the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G a rather compelling choice to have. Starting at Rs 66,999, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a phone that will impress you on almost every count. What it could suffer from is rather stiff competition. For those who are in the market for phones at this price, the Galaxy S22 and the iPhone 13 can be bought at and around the same price (after deals and discounts). But the OnePlus 10 Pro is a cheaper option than the other two. For this price, you get everything you might seek in a flagship smartphone. The cameras — for some — might not be a great upgrade from the OnePlus 9 Pro. Some might crib about lack of macro mode but these are small misses. Overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G gives you a proper flagship experience that will leave you quite impressed.

There are a lot of things I like about the OnePlus 10 Pro, starting with the day-to-day experience of using the phone. It just looks nice. Its software is nice. The OnePlus 10 Pro is an attractive handset if you're looking for flagship-class performance on a budget. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is fabulous, and the speakers, while not outstanding, are perfectly acceptable. The 80W fast charging is welcome (if you're outside the US), and OnePlus reprises its popular Alert Slider. On the other hand the 30x camera zoom is rather pointless, while the lack of an IP rating (except for the US T-Mobile model) and the somewhat bland Android 12 overlay mean that OnePlus's top-end 2022 phone has lost a little of its shine. The OnePlus 10 Pro's main competitor at this price point is Google's Pixel 6 Pro. Check out Matthew Miller's comparative discussion of these two handsets to decide which is best for you.

The OnePlus 10 Pro combines a bold new design with top-tier internal hardware, sublime 120Hz AMOLED screen, all-day battery life, and ultra-fast 80W charging. It has one of the best haptic engines, bloat-free software, and a 48MP camera that takes great photos. The software has a few bugs and the auxiliary cameras aren't particularly great, but as an all-round flagship, there is a lot to like here.

After running through several troublesome areas for the OnePlus 10 Pro, this may sound weird, but I do actually like this phone. When you use this phone, it is undeniable how fast it is, how smooth it is, how great it feels in the hand (the haptic feedback is so lovely), and how beautifully it presents content and (mostly) runs Android. I know that there are annoying software issues, that battery life isn’t stellar, that we all want 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and that paying $799 would make this so much more of a deal. But man, this phone is quite fun to use on the daily. That said, I absolutely get why someone would hesitate to consider this phone. The carrier support is unacceptable and OnePlus shouldn’t be given a pass there. There are rumors of an even better OnePlus phone coming soon and this launch in the US is late enough that I’m not sure anyone believes it is a big priority for the company here. So overall, this is a fun phone to use and I think most people would enjoy it. To buy one, you’d probably have to really be a huge OnePlus fan, though.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is essentially the OnePlus 9T Pro that never was. It has marginal improvements across the board, and none of them matter all that much. For some people, it’s hard to justify the additional $100 investment for the base model, but if you can get the OnePlus 9 Pro for substantially cheaper, then honestly I’m not sure that the OnePlus 10 Pro is worth it. The performance out of the box is going to be similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the camera experience will be similar, and the charging is too. While some people were annoyed that they were going to only get 65W charging in the U.S. (as you rightfully should be on paper), there really isn’t much of an upgrade when using the 80W charging over the 65W charging. In fact, the 65W OnePlus charger being as good and universal as it is makes it better than the 80W charger that comes with the OnePlus 10 Pro, in my eyes. A lot of this is also testimony to the fact that the OnePlus 9 Pro was actually a pretty good product by itself, and a price drop is making it a much better deal than it was at launch.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a great premium all-around phone - it has a good-looking screen, fast charging and powerful internals. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a highly accomplished phone for a reasonable price. The screen is brilliant, it performs well, the battery life is very good, and the fast-charging capabilities are fantastic. That said, the camera generally isn’t quite as good as some other leading handsets. It’s certainly versatile, and you can get some good results from it, but the colour palette between lenses is not consistent and it can struggle a bit with more challenging lighting conditions. Had the camera lived up to the rest of the phone then this buying decision would be a no-brainer given the sub-flagship price point; but competing devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and the Google Pixel 6 take this key feature to another level. Despite this weak spot it is still a good overall package, and would be a well-advised purchase if mobile photography is not your top priority.

The OnePlus 10 is probably one of the best android phones out there, taking on the already impressive 9 Pro with some worthwhile upgrades that make it more powerful and versatile. It feels like a flagship that could hold its own against Apple and Android flagships. The screen and processing upgrade really steal the show here but the new camera offering didn't quite rival its competitors. The incredibly fast charging could make this the perfect phone for those who want pro-level performance at a moment’s notice or while on the go. There’s probably not quite enough to make the average OnePlus 9Pro user part with their hard-earned cash but the 10 Pro is clearly a step ahead of most of the Androids on the market.

I have been witness to the transformation of OnePlus from a startup to one of the biggest players in the premium smartphone segment across markets, especially India. Now, with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the company has a new flagship offering at the top of a product line that is much longer than it’s ever been. OnePlus has morphed from a one-phone-at-a-time player to a brand that has multiple devices across price points aimed at different users. But the OnePlus 10 Pro is clearly aimed at top of the line customers, those who expect nothing less than the best from OnePlus.

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G offers some of the strongest specifications currently available in smartphones, from strong external materials with a different design shape, through a powerful screen from Samsung with many advanced technologies and providing an integrated experience, down to the most powerful processor at the moment from Qualcomm, which works with the lowest accuracy Efficient manufacturing. In addition to the cameras that look like numbers and more than excellent functions, whether front or rear, the phone also offers a large battery that supports fast charging and fast wireless charging. The smartphone is very integrated and is considered one of the most powerful flagship phones that have been introduced in the past period, and it is not a difficult option to recommend. A smartphone with such features and the price range is one of the best in the market as Flagship Killer. OnePlus has always focused on providing the best in its products with the latest technology.

At the end of the day, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a step forward, but not a giant leap. We certainly hoped for more in the camera department and while you do get some neat options like 4K120 and 8K video recording, stabilization is still not on par with the best and the color science has room for improvement. On a personal note, with all the hype and expectations around it, I can say that this phone definitely lacks the wow factor. But maybe, it's just us reviewers getting extra picky. There is also a lot to love about the 10 Pro. Its speed is — we feel — unmatched in the Android camp and the interface and particularly the animations and gestures have a refinement we usually associate with one fruit company. We also appreciate the new design and our hats go off to OnePlus for keeping the cool little touches like the Alert Slider. The 10 Pro also adds the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is a nice step up, probably most so for gamers. Should you buy it? Well, for what it's worth, the OnePlus 10 Pro is shaping up to be more of what you already love about OnePlus, but not quite the breakthrough one might have hoped for.

In almost every way, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a very good smartphone. In fact, we have no serious complaints about it. The OnePlus 10 Pro is a lovely piece of hardware with a brilliant screen, innovative cameras, and fast charging. But its software needs a lot of work and is the primary reason you're not seeing a higher score at the top of this page. This isn't just an aesthetic problem, either—OnePlus really needs to improve whatever is going on with performance management. In the past, I would trust OnePlus to fix these issues (it used to be a responsive, nimble company that quickly pushed software updates in response to user feedback), but the "post-Oppo" OnePlus is a different beast that seems more interested in aligning with its parent company (BBK) than producing the best possible US flagship. A few weeks ago, I moaned about how the US phone market is getting boring and that there isn't any real competition for Samsung's Galaxy S22 lineup. New flagships from OnePlus and Motorola phones have launched since then, and each has notable strengths, but neither dethrones the Galaxy S22+ as our Editors’ Choice winner.

The OnePlus 10 Pro may have the S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro in its sight, but the closest competitor the phone has may be the Pixel 6 Pro that's also at $899 in the US. The OnePlus 10 Pro makes use of the newest Qualcomm chip, while the 6 Pro is powered by Google's in-house Tensor chip. Both provide fast speeds and show off the best of Android 12. Yet due to features that are exclusive to T-Mobile, especially water resistance and 5G support for now, many people might be better off with the Pixel simply for its wider compatibility. Internationally however, the OnePlus 10 Pro stands on slightly more even ground and can surpass thanks to its ludicrously fast wired charging speeds and, for the UK, the 10 Pro is cheaper at £799 than the 6 Pro at £849.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is representative of a new era at OnePlus. One where the goal is to maximize profitability with good enough phones that can ship larger numbers. The OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t excite but does what it promises on the box to an adequate level, which is exactly what it takes to up the bottom line, but certainly not to build a fan following. With the OnePlus 9 Pro — a better phone that you can still buy today for $100 less — we were beginning to see a more gutsy OnePlus, a company that was raring to go against the best of the best with no compromises. The OnePlus 10 Pro isn’t that phone. It’s a safe bet that takes no risks towards pushing any boundaries. In fact, it does the exact opposite by omitting existing features. It’s an odd play at a time when the rest of the competition is bending over backward to offer more to customers. The OnePlus 10 Pro might not thrill long-time fans but is aimed at bringing a newer, more mainstream audience into the fold. Unfortunately, along the way, it also reinforces the fact that the old OnePlus is well and truly dead.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is different from all the OnePlus phones that have come before it, as it’s the first flagship phone to launch since OnePlus and Oppo took their relationship to the next level and moved in together. All of which leads us to the verdict, which is another positive one for OnePlus. Not only does the OnePlus 10 Pro squeeze in most of the features you’d expect of a flagship phone at a more reasonable price than rivals, it also does so while not compromising too much in any particular area. It’s a nicely designed phone, it takes excellent pictures, it has great battery life and performance is superb. The only problem – and it’s a fairly major one – is that it lacks an IP rating for dust and water resistance. At this price and on a flagship phone, it’s an absolute must-have and the only thing holding the OnePlus 10 Pro back from a wholehearted recommendation.

The OnePlus 10 Pro at $899 is an outstanding value that for the right buyer is the best phone available today. It offers performance on par with anything on the Android side, battery life that rivals even the iPhone, a gorgeous display that is only outdone by Samsung and fast charging that still blows away any of the competition in the U.S. Its weaker low-light performance and telephoto zoom lens compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, Galaxy S22+ or Pixel 6 Pro are the biggest complaints that can be laid at the 10 Pro’s feet. These features can’t be dismissed, but they certainly aren’t important to all users. If you use your phone for the occasional snapshot but are primarily concerned with performance, display and battery life, it would be hard for me to recommend anything other than the OnePlus 10 Pro to you. So far, the OnePlus flagship had a different launch from previous years. Aside from not launching a vanilla OnePlus 10 model, the brand staggered its Chinese launch from the rest of the world by several weeks. Plus, with recent reports of a OnePlus 10 Ultra coming later this year, perhaps the company is restructuring its brand strategy as it figures out how to cope with its unification of OnePlus and Oppo's resources. If you are ready to drop $899 on a OnePlus 10 Pro, you might consider that paying a bit more will get you a more polished and more consistent experience somewhere else, but we would also say that the OnePlus 10 Pro is still worth considering. The 10 Pro is certainly a strong contender, but that might depend on who you ask. If you're looking to buy into an expansive ecosystem, you might want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, the 10 Pro does have a capable all-around camera with enough features to keep photographers and casual picture-takers happy while also catering to content creators who appreciate a color-accurate display.

Finally, while the OnePlus 10 Pro is more affordable than its predecessor, it only comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. This, together with the missing features we mentioned above can make its $899 price tag difficult to justify for some, though you do get the sweet 65 Watt fast charger in the box. It’s a great phone, but in light of the competition, it’s not necessarily the best value. Like I said in this review, the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn't have any real weaknesses. As consumers, we always want more. So I can say that the OnePlus 10 Pro could have had a better telephoto camera, a more refreshing design, that (official) IP68 rating, and probably fewer "unique" features so that everything is not buried deep in the settings menu. But then there is no end to wishing. Seen in the context of options available to anyone in India looking to buy a flagship Android phone, I feel the OnePlus 10 Pro is the best option. It is not as expensive as something like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It offers great hardware, good software and an extremely capable camera at a price of Rs 66,999. That, in my opinion, makes it an Android superstar.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is undoubtedly a step up from last year's OnePlus 9 Pro, boasting an upgraded camera system, more powerful hardware, a killer screen and super-fast charging. Thanks to the new features, the camera is still this phone's crowning glory. You'll be able to compose some really impressive shots on it. Although admittedly I'm not sure how many people will actually be able to see the benefits of 10-bit photography or at least not until 10-bit screens are more commonplace. Long story short, the OnePlus 10 Pro can almost do it all. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has some much-needed upgrades over the 9 Pro, and with just a moderate bump in pricing, it's not a bad deal. Even the top-end variant of the 10 Pro 5G is less expensive than the base models of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and iPhone 13, making it good value. Compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the 10 Pro 5G offers a bigger battery with quicker charging, a slightly more power-efficient AMOLED display, a more powerful SoC with plenty more 5G bands, a better selfie camera, and a nicer design. The iQoo 9 Pro is probably the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G's biggest competitor. Not only is it similar in terms of pricing but it also nearly matches the 10 Pro 5G in terms of features. The Realme GT 2 Pro is also just around the corner, and going by what we already know about this phone, it could prove to be a real disruptor if Realme is aggressive with pricing. There are a couple of things you should be aware of before you lock your decision about the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. Just like the 9 Pro, this new model is prone to overheating when using the camera app in warm conditions, at least with the launch firmware.

There’s a lot of potential packed into the OnePlus 10 Pro. It features Gorilla Glass Victus, a variable refresh rate screen, Dolby Atmos and excellent display calibration, but this year isn’t only about OnePlus’ hardware. The real story is if these ongoing software problems can be solved and whether the company will win back user trust.

We've reached a point in which high-end smartphone purchase options are slimmer than at almost any point in the past. If you're aiming to buy a new Android device, you'll likely find your default choice is the Samsung Galaxy S22+. The Galaxy S22+ is highly comparable to the OnePlus 10 Pro and the Google Pixel 6 Pro for a price that's over $100 more expensive than either device, starting at $1049.99. As Chris Davies said in our Galaxy S22+ Review, that price starts to feel a bit expensive when we're comparing handsets with very similar capabilities. The starting price of the OnePlus 10 Pro is $899 (including 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage) inside the U.S., meaning it effectively matches the price of the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a newer and more powerful processor than the Google Pixel 6 Pro, more camera adjustment options, and more display adjustment options.

So does it do enough? In a word, yes.OnePlus’ killer combo of specs and price point hit a home run here – this is a brilliant phone that runs the Pixel 6 Pro really close if you want to spend somewhere in the £800-900 bracket. It’s just absolutely top drawer at pretty much everything aside from low light photography, while OnePlus has recently wisely chosen not to overwhelm on the software front. And we don’t mind that massive camera housing either.

Last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro was one of the best phones of 2021 – which surprised some of us. The company substantially improved the cameras and packaged a high-spec phone in a premium body. Now, after several other OnePlus phones have launched with lower prices (and lesser specs), the $899 OnePlus 10 Pro, is finally here. The phone has long been available in China and the company has been teasing its new flagship since January. With a cheaper price, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon’s latest processor, a bigger battery and a gorgeous new green color option, the OnePlus 10 Pro sounds like it has everything it needs to repeat the success of its predecessor, but I’m left feeling underwhelmed.

The OnePlus 10 Pro impressed me from the minute I took it out of the box. From benchmarks to the cameras, this phone is incredibly good. And at $899, it might just be the best Android phone for the money.

The OnePlus 10 Pro furnishes all the high-end specs anyone would expect from the flagship smartphone. The phone is available with 5G connectivity, superb display, and smooth performance however, there’s nothing that stands out. On top of that, the phone also supports ColorOS 12.1 UI, which was one of the key selling points for the phone. In contrast to that, it is another flagship phone available in the market. It is expected to be revealed in India soon. So, the phone is recommended if it launches at a reasonable price or if you are a big fan of the OnePlus phone. Still, you should compare and consider all options across multiple brands in the same price segment. If you are looking for an alternative option, you can check out the Lenovo Legion Y90 smartphone.

We like the OnePlus 10 Pro but what we have here is a minor update and a complete lack of clarity. According to the company’s blog, only the Pro will be coming to India, North America and Europe for the time being and although that’s slated for sometime in March, an exact date is still unknown. There’s also no regional pricing for Europe, but going by its recent offerings it could be upwards of £800. If it’s OnePlus you’re after, the 9 and 9 Pro might serve you and your wallet better. However, if you do want the 10 Pro, there are a lot of plus points, such as its 80W fast charger and crisp display. Our first impression of the OnePlus 10 Pro is good, but it is lacking that wow factor this time around.

It’s far too early for a definitive verdict, but I am more impressed with the OnePlus 10 Pro now that I’ve actually seen it. Whether that translates to a phone I can recommend you run out and buy remains to be seen.

No long-term commitments or contracts. OnePlus has been around for a long time... And usually does very well during my durability tests. But today... thats not the case. The OnePlus 10 Pro does not survive the JerryRigEverything durability test. It snaps in half... quite catastrophically. Thank goodness for spell check, cuz I'm not sure how to spell catestrofically without it. Either way, the OnePlus 10 pro, (or OnePlus 2 if you're into binary) did not survive.

Overall I’m happy with the OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera performance. I still think the Vivo X70 Pro Plus and Google Pixel 6 Pro are superior cameras all around due to having a better ultra-wide and zoom lens, but the OnePlus 10 Pro’s main camera isn’t losing to these two by much. I’m also quite happy with the OnePlus 10 Pro’s video capabilities. However, the ultra-wide camera is inferior to those seen in top flagships, and in quality, it is a step down from the OnePlus 9 Pro which had an ultra-wide camera that could hold its own against the main camera. One important thing to note is I’m testing the OnePlus 10 Pro against, technically speaking, 2021 flagships. This year’s premium slabs with new camera innovations will hit the market very soon, such as the Galaxy S22 Ultra, OPPO Find X5 Pro, etc. Will the OnePlus 10 Pro compete as well against those cameras? We will have to wait and see. For now, this OnePlus 10 Pro system is intuitive and fun to shoot with.

On the OnePlus 10 Pro, we can find something that OnePlus has been insisting on and the market has been missing, and that is “recognition”. OnePlus 10 Pro has made a bold breakthrough in appearance design. The 3D ceramic camera module is highly recognizable, giving people a refreshing feeling in the homogeneous mobile phone market. As the best performance flagship for playing games, the OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with the current ceiling-level performance configuration, a new generation of Snapdragon 8 mobile platform + LPDDR5 + UFS3.1, and it relies on HyperBoost full-link game frame stabilization technology, which solves the problems of stable frame rate for long-term games and heat dissipation of the fuselage that most mobile phones in the industry cannot solve. While bringing the ultimate performance experience to users, it also brings new directions to the industry. “Three points of parameters and seven points of polishing”, OnePlus is still the mobile phone brand that does not fall into the industry conventions and insists on its own style.
