Testberichte für das Motorola Moto G Power 5G 2024

60% Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) review: Should you buy it?
Quelle: Android Authority Englisch EN→DE
The Moto G Power (2024) is Motorola's most complete Moto G device yet, offering solid charging support, decent rear cameras, and a vegan leather finish that's comfortable in the hand. However, it suffers from a dreadful update commitment and a dated graphics renderer that severely limits its gaming prospects. The Moto G Power 5G (2024) takes a few more steps forward than back, but keeps finding new ways to stumble.

60% Moto G Power 5G (2024) review: Great battery life under $300, yikes cameras
Quelle: Tom's Guide Englisch EN→DE
Budget phones exist because people looking into them are willing to accept compromises. The Moto G Power (2024) isn’t a home run for a phone in the budget space, it has its share of compromises — like its dim display, so-so cameras, lackluster gaming performance, and limited software support. But hey, it has the best phone battery life under $300, fast charging abilities and a sophisticated design that’s surprisingly well built. The Nothing Phone 2a would be a logical recommendation of mine, but it’s yet to be publicly available in the U.S. Instead, it can only be purchased through its developer program. Therefore, the next practical option is the Google Pixel 7a, but then you’re forced to spend a lot more over the Moto G Power (2024). Knowing all that, Motorola’s phone is worth considering assuming you can live with the aforementioned trade-offs.

100% Motorola Moto G Power – 2024 Review: A great phone, and not just for its price
Quelle: Android Headlines Englisch EN→DE
I can honestly say that I am both and not surprised at how great this phone is. I’m surprised because I was able to get such a smooth and Powerful experience on a $300 phone. A couple of years ago, getting a $300 phone would not have been as much fun. So, Motorola was able to pack a significant amount of power and utility into such an affordable handset. However, I’m not surprised because of how great the Moto G 5 g – 2024 is. That is a phone that also has a stunning design, great display, good performance, amazing speakers, and an overall great user experience. The Moto G Power – 2024 takes pretty much every aspect of that phone and pushes it a few steps further. The display is more balanced and colorful, the speakers are more spacious and high quality, the design is more premium, and the camera is better.

I switched to this $300 Motorola phone for two weeks and was pleasantly surprised
Quelle: Zdnet.com Englisch EN→DE
Motorola continues to impress with its affordable line of Moto G series phones and the G Power 5G has me questioning my past decisions to purchase expensive flagship phones. The phone offers everything I need to get work done, with an impressive host of gestures that make using the phone very efficient and smart. If you are looking for a first smartphone and want something affordable and can last long, or just want something with a big display in a sleek form factor, then the latest from Motorola is worth considering.

80% Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) Review
Quelle: PC Mag Englisch EN→DE
It's hard to top the 2024 Moto G Power 5G for the price—$300 gets you smooth performance, a large screen, reliable connectivity, extensive battery life, and NFC. The OnePlus Nord N30 has a better camera, but the Moto G Power is faster, lasts longer, and supports wireless charging, tipping the scales in its favor and earning the Moto our Editors' Choice award for budget-friendly Android phones. If you’re particularly interested in photography and can stretch your budget, the Pixel 7a is an excellent upgrade alternative and another Editors' Choice winner.

50% Moto G Power 5G (2024) review: Ads nauseum
Quelle: Android Police Englisch EN→DE
Even for $300, I struggle to see how I'd recommend the Moto G Power to anyone over the competition. Samsung's Galaxy A25 5G is sold at the same price as this device, and even just on the software side alone, you're in for a better ride. If you're willing to spend a little more than $300, Motorola's own Edge from 2023 is constantly on sale for just $350, and from its display and processor to a much cleaner software experience, it's the better buy. And at $500 — $400 with any trade-in — the OnePlus 12R runs absolute circles around this phone. Motorola might've been a pioneer in making budget Android phones that were actually usable, but the landscape has changed a lot in the past decade. If Motorola wants any informed buyer to actually use a phone like the Moto G Power 5G (2024), it's going to have to try a little harder than this.

70% Moto G Power 5G 2024 review: Two steps forward, one step back
Quelle: Android Central Englisch EN→DE
It's easy to get complacent with a yearly upgrade, especially if it's a lower-end phone. With the Moto G Power 5G 2024, Motorola went a little beyond expectations with its new design and upgraded specs. The vegan leather texture on the back is a nice touch, while the inclusion of 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging see the affordable phone tiptoeing into flagship territory, punching way above its price tag. Gaming performance may be lacking and the camera output could be better at times, but you really can't expect to have it all in a phone that costs just $299. Still, despite its shortcomings, Motorola made some surprising changes and additions (NFC, anyone?) that add even more value to an already wallet-friendly phone. I wouldn't have much problem recommending this to anyone not willing to spend an arm and a leg on a new phone.

50% How good is Motorola’s $300 Android phone? I used it for a week to find out
Quelle: Digital Trends Englisch EN→DE
Let’s return to the question I asked at the top of this review: How good can a $300 smartphone really be? In the case of the Moto G Power 5G (2024), the answer is “Not very.” Although there are things the Moto G Power gets right, it’s held back by the things it gets wrong — which ends up being a pretty lengthy list. Thankfully, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) isn’t a microcosm of budget smartphones in 2024. If you take a look around you — even at other phones from Motorola itself — you can find much better ways to spend your money. Consider the Motorola Edge (2023). Released in October 2023 for $600, the Motorola Edge is better than the Moto G Power 5G in virtually every manner. It has a much higher-quality OLED display, a more capable processor, 68W wired charging, great battery life, and a more reliable camera.

Moto G Power 5G (2024) Review
Quelle: Phone Arena Englisch EN→DE
The Moto G Power 5G is a solid mid-range option for those looking for a reliable device with decent performance and great battery life. At its MSRP of $299 USD, it is definitely a compelling option, though it may face tough competition from other devices in its price range. A few comparable alternatives worth mentioning are the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, as well as the OnePlus Nord N30 5G. My experience while testing this device was overall very positive, with smooth performance and impressive battery life. I wouldn't recommend it as a device you'd want to take your very important family photos with, but it definitely gets the job done in the right environment. However, if what you are looking for is a device that looks premium, will last you through the day, will be reliable at performing your everyday tasks, and is at a very reasonable price, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) is an option I could get behind.
