All in all, the Flex 3 11's value proposition is tempting, offering a full-featured 11.6-inch Windows convertible for $349. It has limited but adequate performance for most everyday apps; a comfortable keyboard and touch pad; solid overall quality; and support for occasional tablet mode and presentation easel configurations as well as laptop use.

The Lenovo Flex 3 11-inch is easily the best 2-in-1 of the budget bunch when it comes to multimode use and functionality. The convertible also offers more than 6.5 hours of battery life, which is good for a budget system. But not so fast -- literally. The $379 hybrid has some serious shortcomings when it comes to performance, coming in second to last in our testing.

The Lenovo Flex 3 11 is a budget laptop that doesn't feel like a budget laptop, and that makes it the most appealing among the maker's latest low-tier offerings. The Yoga-like flexibility and the touchscreen are both big perks over the Lenovo S21e and similar models, and the design is more professional, making this an option for consumers who want something that is cheap but that looks professional.

The Lenovo Flex 3 11-inch is a decent convertible for casual use. It offers basic performance that is mainly suitable for browsing the web, playing some not so demanding games or writing. The change in the flexibility from 300 on the previous generations to a full 360-degree Yoga-style rotation is a welcome improvement. The overall design of the device is quite good and stylish, the notebook feels solid in hands and even though it has a really low price it does not have the usual plasticky feel of a cheap device.

Modell: Das Lenovo Flex 3 ist der jüngste Laptop mit 360-Grad-Scharnier, welches Verwendung in Notebook- und Tablet-Modus ermöglicht. Der kapazitive 11,6-Zoll-Touchscreen unterstützt Multi-Touch-Eingaben und löst mit 1366 x 768 Pixeln auf. Das Gerät nutzt einen 2,16 GHz Intel Celeron Prozessor, 4 GB RAM und die integrierte Intel HD Graphics.

Zudem gibt es drei USB-Ports, einer davon USB-3.0, einen SD-Kartenslot, einen HDMI-Port und einen Ethernet-Port. Das Chassis ist vorwiegend aus Kunststoff und in zwei Farben erhältlich: schwarz und weiß. Das Gewicht beträgt nur 1,3 kg und laut Hersteller ist eine Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 5 Stunden möglich. Damit ist das Windows-8.1-Gerät ziemlich portabel. Schließlich handelt es sich bei diesem Convertible-Laptop um ein multifunktionales Gerät mit robuster Bauweise, das sich für Arbeit gleichermaßen eignet wie für Entertainment.

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): Grafikeinheit in den Tablet- und Notebook-SoCs der Bay-Trail-Serie. Basiert auf der Ivy-Bridge-GPU, unterstützt DirectX 11 und bietet 4 EUs.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
