What you get is a seriously quick device, which features a surprisingly modest price of 471 Euro in case of the 32 Gigabyte version, according to Geizhals.at. Since the chassis has been made from polycarbonate, the build quality is good when compared to other plastic smartphones, although like always, it would be great if smartphones were generally made from metal.

Das LG G2 kann sich definitiv sehen lassen. Die starke Hardware garantiert eine flüssige Performance und clevere Programme wie QuickMemo oder der Gäste-Modus erleichtern die Bedienung enorm. Allerdings ist es schade, dass LG sein aktuelles Flaggschiff nur mit Android 4.2.2 ausliefert und Screenshots mit den Hardware-Tasten fast nicht zu bewältigen sind. Zwar steht euch hierfür eine separate App zur Verfügung, doch ist dies wieder ein kleiner Umweg, der Zeit kostet.

The G2 is packed with the latest top-tier hardware, and it features a long-lasting battery and a perfectly capable camera. But it’s beset by small problems—the crowded notifications screen, the awkward rear-facing buttons, its plain-Jane design. It makes you remember that LG is still missing the je ne sais quoi that sets other top phones apart from their competitors.

The G2 took what I loved from the tablet-smartphone category, and crammed it into a regular smartphone. A big one, granted, but not an unnecessarily huge one. LG's smartphone screens are among the best, and its newest phone continues to lead its peers. This time around, however, it's got the battery to do it justice.

We can’t remember ever being particularly excited about an LG phone, but the G2 changed that when its specs were released, and to our great amazement the G2 is just as brilliant in the flesh as it is on paper. That’s largely educated guesswork, though, and in the here and now there’s one quite incredible thing that we know for sure - the LG G2 is the best smartphone in the world right now.

If I had to boil it down, I would say that the LG G2 is excellent where it matters: super-responsive, amazing display, excellent battery life and very high photo quality. To me, these are the most important aspects of a smartphone, and the LG G2 hits a home run on everything that really matters. Beyond that, it is up to you to decide if the industrial design, graphic design, web services or carrier availability will work for you. If you end up choosing it, you would have made a damn fine choice.

Our first impression is that we're super impressed with what LG has pulled out of the bag with the G2. Its got some seriously impressive specs which make it a real contender at the top of the smartphone market. We're keen to try out the quirky design so look out for a review soon.

Das LG G2 ist das jüngste Angebot von LG und soll mit den  meistverkauften Geräten am Markt konkurrieren. LG hat es interessanterweise riskiert, die Tasten an der Rückseite des Geräte anzubringen. Einschalter, Lautstärke-Plus und Lautstärke-Minus-Taste an der Rückseite zwingen den Nutzer ihre natürliche Handhaltung anzupassen. LG hat jedoch geschickt, die Notwendigkeit auf die Rückseite zu greifen, verringert. Schnelles Doppel-Tippen am Touchscreen weckt das Gerät auf und Sperren und zum Schlafmodus zurückkehren kann auch vom Bildschirm aus erledigt werden. Ein weiteres ausgezeichnetes Merkmal ist der Bildschirm. Das Gerät ist ähnlich groß wie die besten Geräte am Markt, doch der 1080p IPS-Bildschirm wurde auf schöne 5.2-Zoll vergrößert. Nahezu die gesamte Vorderseite des Gerätes ist durch den Bildschirm abgedeckt. Rahmen gibt es kaum und nur wenig Platz an der Unterseite für das LG-Logo.

Das Smartphone bietet einen 2,26 GHz Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core-Prozessor von Qualcomm, 2 GB Hauptspeicher und einen verbesserten Adreno-330-Grafikprozessor. Daher kann das Gerät die anspruchvollsten Apps mit Leichtigkeit laden und rendern. Das Beste ist jedoch, das die Akkulaufzeit trotz starker Leistung ausgezeichnet ist. Man kann mühelos eineinhalb Tage bei mittlerer bis leichter Last fernab der Stromdose arbeiten. Damit kann aktuell nur ein einziges anderes Gerät, das Moto X mithalten. Das LG G2 ist ein bemerkenswertes Gerät, dass in vielen Aspekten die Konkurrenz mühelos schlägt.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
