Der Preisunterschied ist derzeit zu groß und der Mehrwert des Mate 20 ist im Vergleich zum P20 ist nicht riesig. Wer gerne das neuste und schnellste Gerät hat, macht jedoch mit dem Kauf vom Mate 20 Pro nichts falsch.

Das Huawei Mate 20 Pro kann durch eine hervorragende Gesamtperformance punkten. Ruckler und lange Ladezeiten gibt es mit Huaweis aktuellem Kirin-980-Prozessor nicht. Das 6,39 Zoll-Display sieht schlicht blendend aus, ist kontrastreich, scharf und sehr hell. Hervorzuheben ist das für einen 4200 mAh-Akku geringe Gewicht von 189 Gramm und die schlanke Optik. Auch der Sound beim Musikhören macht Laune. Der Bass ist kräftig und der Klang ausgeglichen. Verbesserungswürdig ist die künstliche Intelligenz der Kamera-Software. Hier ist mit Sicherheit noch das ein oder andere Spiel nach oben, um die Bildergebnisse der Triple-Hauptkamera zu verbessern. Die Displayeinkerbung ist recht groß geraten, lässt sich aber glücklicherweise per Softwarefunktion ausschalten. Dann sieht das Huawei Mate 20 Pro vorderseitig nach dem in der Vorweihnachtszeit endlich wieder gefundenen Zwilling des im Frühling zur Welt gekommenen Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus aus.

Huawei’s latest device is a fairly solid performer for front-camera video, too, with effective stabilization, good detail at close range with relatively well-controlled noise, and acceptable color in most conditions. As it ranks near the center of our database, better results are possible, but the Huawei Mate 20 Pro offers acceptable front-camera results to go with the very impressive results of its rear camera.

Really, this is really quite a remarkable computerised phone with some really very strong and interesting features. Huawei's distributors/resellers – firms like 3 and O2 in the UK, tell me there's strong pre-order demand for the device. Deep pockets will be needed to fork out for the unit on its own, but the retailers/distributors are going to offer plans which mean that you will pay as you go by opting for a tariff that reflects the price of the phone. Huawei might not have the instant recognition that Apple has for its iPhone range, but this machine is a goer. I have hardly begun to check out the myriad other features. I can't benchmark it because I just won't, but will say that its battery life is really very, very good. And it does recharge very fast.

Overall, we feel that Huawei has certainly made a splash with these new phones. All three models look great, and their camera quality and displays seemed great in the short time we were able to spend with them. The relatively larger Mate 20 X was definitely on the bulky side, usually requiring two hands to operate and being rather awkward to hold - this could be an acceptable trade-off, however, as the smartphone is positioned as a gaming and entertainment device. In terms of performance, all three phones felt rather snappy. We had no trouble with their UIs or multitasking, and even in the camera app. We also played about 10 minutes of Asphalt 9 Legends on the Mate 20 Pro, and felt no lag or discernible heating of the glass body.

Modell: Das Huawei Mate 20 Pro gehört zu den Flagships des Unternehmens. Leistung, Design und Funktionen sind von hoher Qualität. Die Kamera des Mate 20 Pro wurde gemeinsam mit Leica entwickelt. Der Bildschirm des Phones ist ein Meisterwerk aus 3D-Glas mit sanften Rundungen und nahtlosem Übergang ins Gehäuse. Als Würdigung der satten Farben der Natur ist das Huawei Mate 20 Pro in vier leuchtenden Farben erhältlich. Das Licht wird an der mitternachtsblauen und smaragdgrünen Rückseite wunderschön reflektiert, wodurch die einzigartigen Hyper-Optical-Patterns glitzern. Linien und Merkmale sind harmonisch symmetrisch. Dank schlankem Design ist es eine Freude das Phone anzusehen und zu berühren. Wasser- und Staubbeständigkeit gemäß IP68 sorgen dafür, dass sie sich keine Sorgen machen müssen, falls das Phone angeschüttet, bespritzt oder untergetaucht wird.
