Das HTC U11+ ist ohne Zweifel ein Top-Smartphone, was man beim aufgerufenen Preis auch erwarten muss. Es hat mit dem XXL-Display, der überragenden Performance und der hochwertigen Kamera auch ein paar triftige Kaufargumente. Das Problem ist nur: Das haben die bekannten Namen im Referenzbereich auch und trotz des höheren UVPs wählen viele daher das Samsung Galaxy S9, zumal es mehr Alleinstellungsmerkmale bietet.

Nur knapp schlittert das HTC U11+ an der Bestwertung vorbei. Lässt man die Akkulaufzeit außen vor, fehlt dem Top-Smartphone in jeder Kategorie der allerletzte Schliff. Um ein Bild dessen zu erzeugen: Es ist wie in einem Panini-Sammelalbum, in dem bei jeder Mannschaft das Bild eines der Einwechselspieler fehlt. Gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung für das HTC U11+? Ganz schwer zu sagen, denn die Konkurrenz auf dem Markt ist verdammt groß und hart. Grundsätzlich ist das U11+ ein tolles Gesamtpaket, doch es hätte früher kommen müssen. Es ist wie beim LG V30, der Zeitpunkt ist nicht optimal.

Das U11 Plus ist ein interessantes Smartphone. Es ist monströs ausgestattet und in jeglicher Hinsicht besser als das HTC U11. Die Hardware ist aktuell und die Software-Funktionen sind nicht schlecht. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Kamera sowie der Schwerpunkt auf Audio. Aber auch die starke Akkulaufzeit mit einer Video-Wiedergabezeit von bis zu 12 Stunden bei maximaler Helligkeit gefällt.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
