Clearly, we're fans of both the Latitude 5289 and the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2. We're giving the nod to the HP for its more stylish design, Thunderbolt 3 port, and clever touches such as its function keys to control Skype for Business calls and WorkWise app that lets you lock or unlock your laptop just by walking away or coming back with your smartphone. But there's nothing wrong with basic black, and there's nothing to steer you away from Dell's convertible.

The Dell Latitude 5289 2-in-1 is a competent business 2-in-1 that will last you all day and then some. Between its powerful, optional Core i7 CPU and 10 straight hours of battery life, this will handle everything you need for office work and more. Keep it on your desk, though, as it can get pretty toasty on the bottom, and consider investing in an external display to offset the Latitude's bland panel. The HP EliteBook x360 G2 (starting at $1,319) offers similar (or, in the case of the hard drive, faster) performance with a vivid display. It's also a tad smaller and thinner. If you're going for style and a colorful screen, that's the way to go. However, the x360 lasted almost 45 minutes less on our battery test. Overall, the Latitude is a strong performer and will serve as a strong, reliable business partner.

Intel HD Graphics 620: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2-Ausbau, 24 EUs), welche in einigen Kaby-Lake-CPUs (ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
