Das Blackberry Classic ist ein gutes Smartphone mit Blackberry-OS-Betriebssystem und einem sehr guten, quadratischen Display. Es verfügt über eine physische Tastatur, dank der es sich sehr gut für E-Mail eignet. Es funkt mit der schnellen Datenverbindung LTE. Die Kamera fotografiert recht träge. Die GPS-Ortung geht sehr schnell mit Internetverbindung. Gute Anleitung. Der Akku ist befriedigend und kann nicht vom Nutzer gewechselt werden. Das Gerät braucht eine Sim-Karte im Nano-Sim-Format.

Openly carrying a BlackBerry in 2015 is an invitation to be interrupted. You’re bound to be asked by some well-meaning friend or nosey stranger, “is that a BlackBerry? If you’re a die-hard BlackBerry purist and you’ve been waiting patiently to see the Bold lineup make a comeback, the Classic is the QWERTY keyboard-toting, throwback business phone you’ve been waiting for. It’s just as practical as the massive Passport, but it’s actually pocketable and BlackBerry 10 packs in plenty of nifty features. It’s not for everyone though, and its physical keyboard eats up valuable screen real estate, while software keyboards have come leaps and bounds. At £350, it’s not bad, but it won’t set the world on fire - don’t expect it to beat out the latest flagship Android blowers or the iPhone 6, either.

If you are buying a phone for content consumption, then I think you have already made a decision. Yes, the BlackBerry Classic is not for you. It is a very good option for those looking for a solid messenger phone. I prefer the Classic over the unwieldy Passport. There's no doubt that the Classic is a very good handset. However, considering that the Q10 with similar hardware is now available for Rs 24,000, the Classic's Rs 31,000 price tag seems unreasonable.

It’s hard to recommend the Classic to anyone but the most diehard BlackBerry fanatics, and in fairness, they’re a bunch of people who already know they’re in love even before they lay eyes on this product. This is a phone, though, that really should have turned up a couple of years ago when Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 chip was new, in 2012 when it was recent, rather than early 2015 where it feels old and depreciated.

It's so obvious that it barely means anything at all. What the Classic is, though, is a mostly reliable device, so long as you're willing to put up with its many, many quirks.

Passing final judgment on the BlackBerry Classic depends on one's perspective about what a smartphone should do. The handset is an excellent business device, but a long way behind the latest iOS and Android smartphones in terms of features that will appeal to regular users. With the above in mind, we must concur that BlackBerry has done a good job with the Classic. The device is targeting the corporate crowd and will tick the right boxes for its members. Modell: Das BlackBerry Classis bringt mit der Rückkehr zu einer physikalischen Tastatur die wahren Kurven und Merkmale. Das Design ist makellos und die legendären 35 taktilen Tasten ergänzen den schönen quadratischen Touchscreen. Damit das Gerät angenehm in der Hand verwendet werden kann, wurden die Kanten abgerundet, während die Rückseite für hervorragende Griffigkeit vollständig texturiert ist. Das 178 g Gerät verfügt über einen 3,5 Zoll großen Bildschirm mit einem 1:1 Seitenverhältnis und einer Pixeldichte von 294 ppi.

Während der Platz am Bildschirm nichts Besonders ist, macht die physikalische Tastatur eine virtuelle Tastatur am Bildschirm unnötig. Im Herzen des BlackBerry Classic befinden sich ein Qualcomm MSM 8960 Prozessor mit einer Taktrate von 1,5 GHz, 2 GB RAM und 16 GB interner Speicher. Mit einer microSD-Karte kann die Speicherkapazität bei Bedarf um bis zu 128 GB erweitert werden. Das BlackBerry Classic läuft unter BlackBerry 10 OS und verfügt über eine 8 MP Autofokus-Kamera an der Rückseite und eine 2 MP Fixfokus-Frontkamera.

Zu den weiteren Features zählen LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, NFC und 3 Mikrophone zur Rauschunterdrückung. Laut Blackberry ist eine sehr gute Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 22 Stunden gemischter Nutzung mit dem nicht entfernbaren 2515 mAh Lithium-Akku möglich. User, die traditionelle BlackBerry-Gerät mit physikalischer Tastatur mögen, werden sich wie zu Hause fühlen.
