We can say Asus really did a good job by making world’s thinnest and lightest convertible laptop. It is a complete lightweight package that Asus can offer to a consumer. But, it does come with few cons including lack of traditional connectivity and a premium price.

When you go laptop shopping, there are three criterias that most people have: looks, weight and performance. The Asus ZenBook Flip S meets all three with aplomb but isn’t easy on the pocket. Starting at Rs 1,30,000, the Asus ZenBook Flip S is targeted at the premium end of the market, and more importantly at buyers who are more style-conscious. There are a few things amiss – a Thunderbolt 3 port – but that’s being a tad unfair on a laptop that delivers what it promises. A thin, good-looking device that packs in the performance. Still, as far as convertibles go, there’s HP’s Spectre x360 which will give the ZenBook Flip S a tough run for its money. You won’t go wrong with the ZenBook Flip S though as this head turner of a device blends style and substance perfectly.

No laptop is perfect, and same goes for the ZenBook Flip S, which has its pros and cons. Asus has spent time on making the device as slim as possible, and it shows. The 360-degree hinge feels sturdy, plus the quality of the screen is also good. Asus has nailed the keyboard, and the trackpad is responsive. Windows 10 isn’t great to use in tablet mode – and frankly, Asus has little role to play in making this better anytime soon. Battery, however, is the biggest flaw of the ZenBook Flip S. This is a deal-breaker for me or anyone who’d like to buy a laptop that costs as much as the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2-Ausbau, 24 EUs), welche in einigen Kaby-Lake-CPUs (Refresh, ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird. Technisch identisch zur HD Graphics 620 in den Kaby-Lake Modellen aus 2016.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
