Weitere Punkte, gar Kritik?

All that is to say the 15-inch MacBook Air faces the same criticisms as the older 13-inch model, like the lack of utility ports and a slower refresh rate display. And for those reasons, it's not the laptop for me. But everything else about it is as good as the $1,299 price point gets. My parents, who favor the larger, more vivid viewing experience, will love it. My partner, a teacher who spends hours a day sifting through spreadsheets, will love it. And my younger cousin, an undergraduate who's always on his feet and writing research papers, will love it. This is the MacBook most people have been waiting for and is the one that most people should buy.

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch may be a basic upgrade on the standard 13-inch MacBook Air, with a bigger screen and great speaker setup proving to be the only new additions. But a larger version of its most popular makes so much sense, offering customers who don’t want the 16-inch MacBook Pro a cheaper way of getting a big-screened MacBook. Compared to the wider competition, the lack of an OLED screen is the biggest disappointment. That’s not to say this isn’t a strong display though, with Apple making it brighter than the average Windows rival. And while the M2 processor is plenty powerful enough, it’s worth pointing out that Apple is almost guaranteed to be introducing an even more powerful M3 chip to the MacBook Air series in the coming months. If you want the best performance for your money, it’s probably worth waiting. For those who can’t wait, the 15-inch MacBook Air remains one of the best laptops and one of the best MacBooks on the market right now.

Without a doubt, a MacBook Air Air is an excellent laptop for students, whether they’re at school or university. It’s even a great device for work. Best suited to those studying any form of media or creative industry, a MacBook Air Air is a versatile laptop for school and beyond. Its base configuration, even with the older M1 model, is more than enough for everyday schoolwork. With more powerful internals, the MacBook Air does get a bit pricey, but its longevity increases accordingly.

The 15-inch MacBook Air's sell is simple: it's a MacBook Air, embodying everything typically slim, light and portable about that, only it's got a bigger screen (and bigger sound as an added bonus). There are no significant compromises in opting for the 15.3-inch screen, except it'll inevitably cost you a little more and add some additional mass. For many that'll make it the big-screen MacBook of your dreams... except now it's a reality.

The 15in Apple MacBook Air, as I said in the introduction to this review, is really a very simple proposition. It offers pretty much exactly the same package as the 13.6in model – from the screen all the way through to the storage and core performance and even the battery life. All that’s left for you to decide is whether you want the bigger screen or not, and whether or not you can put up with the weight penalty and the £250 higher price. Either way, the 15in Apple MacBook Air is going to be all the laptop most people will ever need. It’s powerful enough to cope with most tasks, it’s silent, the screen is fantastic and the battery life is out of this world and far better than any equivalent Windows laptop can deliver. For sheer all-round flexibility this is the best 15in laptop you can currently buy.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is a power-efficiency beast. I got sick and tired of seeing the “battery low” errors on my Windows laptops, so I switched on over to macOS. After spending a month with the 15-inch MacBook Air, I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. It has the endurance of the Energizer Bunny, a slick display, a sturdy chassis, and more than enough performance for the average user. It's official. After spending some time with the 15-inch MacBook Air and using the 14-inch MacBook Pro as my daily driver, my Windows days are behind me.

There's no denying that the new MacBook Air is one of the most impressive 15-inch notebooks around both in terms of performance, and portability. The impossibly light and thin design is delightfully contemporary, and the M2 chip offers impressive performance when it comes to creative tasks. Whether this is the laptop for you boils down to two factors: size and price. The 15-inch model is perfect for information-heavy interfaces, and for creatives working in visual mediums, that two-inch size bump could make all the difference. But if you're more interested in keeping things as small and light as possible, you might want to look at the 13-inch model, which offers pretty much identical performance. That model could also save you $200, starting at $1099 as opposed to the 15-inch model's $1299. But while it isn't the cheapest option out there, the 15-inch MacBook Air could be the perfect option for many creatives, offering a sweet spot between performance and size.

The MacBook Air 15 M2’s gorgeous form factor and brilliant display make it a visually impressive device. Its sized-up trackpad and whisper-quiet keyboard were super satisfying to use, while Apple’s M2 silicon kept the laptop on pace with other makes and models in its price range. That said, if you’re not itching for a couple of extra inches of display, you might be better off with the 13-inch MacBook Air M2. The smaller model offers a few extra hours of battery life, an additional 102 nits of brightness, and a slightly lighter 2.75-pound build. You won’t get that mind-blowing speaker array exclusive to the 15-inch model (or the SSD speed of the M1 model), but you’ll save $200 and still get one of our top laptop picks for the upcoming school year. There’s also the MSI Prestige 13 Evo, which has a faster processor than the 15-inch MacBook Air and a slightly brighter display.

There is no debating that the new M2 MacBook Air is about as good as you can hope for from the Air line. The only thing that’s worth discussing is how necessary of an upgrade it is for you. Thankfully, I don’t think it’s that difficult of a call to make. If you still have a butterfly keyboard or a MacBook from before Apple switched to its homemade M-series silicon (and you can afford $1,200+ for a new laptop), go ahead and make the switch. Whether you commute to and from an office, or work from home full-time, the new MacBook Air is an ideal job companion with excellent performance and one of the best keyboards around. With that in mind, however, the M1 MacBook Air from 2020 is slightly cheaper, starting at $1,000. It has a slightly different design, but is only a tiny bit heavier and may be slightly more compact thanks to a smaller display.

I’ve been using the 15” MacBook Air as my every-day laptop for over a month and I think this is the closest Apple has ever gotten to the perfect laptop—but that doesn’t mean I'm going to keep using it; nor should you should rush out to buy one. Lemme cook here. Since the MacBook Air debuted 15-years-ago, it hasn't been offered in a size greater than 13". For a few years there, we had an even smaller version available at 11.6", but never larger than 13 and it... never made sense. The simple reality is that a lot of people want big screens: be it aging eyesight, larger workspace requirements, laptop-only workflows, whatever... and until last month, the only way to get an Apple laptop larger than 14" in size was to spend at least $2,500 for a 16" MacBook Pro that is hulkingly overkill for many that merely seek more display real estate. The option is great for those that need it, but I think more people believe themselves to need it than those that actually do.

At a starting price of RM6,199 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, the new 15-inch MacBook Air is indeed a tough laptop to recommend. However, I would say that it is still a worthwhile choice for users looking to upgrade from an older Apple laptop, especially those who want something bigger than the 13-inch variant, but aren’t willing to spend on the more powerful Pro models.

Apple’s latest-generation MacBook Pro is a pretty special machine. And it shows that if Apple’s chips continue their trajectory then the rest of the PC industry will struggle for some time to come. Debates about whether the Mac should have a touchscreen or whether the iPad Pro should run macOS are for another time because what is on offer here is truly remarkable. You just have to make sure that you’re not buying something you won’t use to its full capability. While the MacBook Air isn’t favoured by some, it is more than good enough to do what most traditional MacBook Pro users need. But enough of that negativity – if you’re looking for a productivity powerhouse to accompany you through the next few years, the 2023 MacBook Pro is certainly it. The ultimate do-anything machine.

Take a walk around any college campus or any coffee shop in a big city, and you’re almost guaranteed to see a MacBook Air. Maybe it’s not a shiny, new, Apple silicon-powered model, but this light, thin laptop is a go-to for just about anyone who needs to balance power and portability. However, the thing that made the MacBook Air great — its on-the-go size — also held it back for multitaskers and power users. Neither the 11-inch nor the 13-inch displays offered enough real estate for some, so the iPhone-maker finally decided to go big and introduce this — its first 15-inch MacBook Air. It’s almost unbelievable that Apple never launched a 15-inch, Intel-powered MacBook Air because, after just a few weeks, I’m convinced this is the perfect pairing of size and power.

There’s little to fault in the MacBook Air 15in, which delivers on exactly what it promises. The solid performance of the M2 chip returns, now paired with a larger display and more spacious body, without compromising on the Air’s essential portability – helped as ever by its extraordinary battery life. It’s not perfect. With all this space Apple could surely improve the ports on offer, and the notch remains an unsightly blight, completely unjustified by the very average webcam quality. And despite all the size, the screen itself is frustratingly dim. Still, the overall package is excellent, and if you’re a Mac user who wants a large display but doesn’t need to pay for the power of a Pro, this ticks all the boxes that count.

One of the easiest recommendations — for any gadget — is the MacBook Air. If you have the money and are looking for a laptop that will last long, the MacBook Air is the one to go for. The only difference now is that you need to decide whether you need portability or a big screen. The MacBook Air (15-inch) starts at Rs 1,34,999 whereas the 13-inch Air retails at Rs 1,14,999. That's a Rs 20,000 difference. That's not that big of a difference for MacBook buyers. The MacBook Air (15-inch) is the ideal laptop for a lot of people who value a big screen. It is ridiculously fast, delivers impeccable performance and has a battery life that is just extraordinary. The 15-inch is a compact laptop compared to other 15-inchers, so the odds are stacked in its favour when it comes to portability. Apple said that the MacBook Air is the world’s most popular laptop.

The 15-inch MacBook Air represents good value, not just from a Mac perspective, but even in comparison with a Windows notebook. To get a 15-inch Windows notebook with comparable performance will cost a lot more. And even then, it won’t be as slim and portable, and won’t offer anywhere near the same kind of battery life that the 15-inch MacBook Air does. However, I must point out that prices go up real quick once you start ticking off options when ordering the Mac. So go light on the options if you want to keep the value quotient high. Like most other MacBooks in the Apple Silicon, this new 15-inch MacBook Air is a great MacBook with few flaws. It is slim, portable, has good performance and battery life, features a large vivid display, and is reasonably priced. My only real gripe is that I wish it had more ports. It should definitely be on the shortlist of anyone who's shopping for a new notebook. And I won’t be surprised at all if it outsells the smaller 13-inch version. That’s how good it is.

When I first had a chance to try out the MacBook Air 15 at WWDC 2023, I was a bit confused with where exactly this laptop fit in. The Air range has always been compact, easy to handle, and convenient to slip into even a small handbag or backpack — so a device with a 15.3-inch screen doesn't really fit these requirements. That said, Apple's MacBook range was missing a reasonably priced big-screen option; your only choice thus far was the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which is priced at Rs. 2,49,900 onwards and is probably too powerful for typical use cases and workflows. The MacBook Air 15 manages to fill that gap quite well, striking the right balance between size, capabilities, and price. The positioning of this laptop starts to make a lot more sense if you don't think of it too much as an ‘Air', but rather as the much-needed big-screen MacBook for the regular user.

A MacBook Air 15 M2 is the perfect Mac laptop for many who need a large screen, high performance for a wide variety of tasks, but who do not want to pay a premium amount for a pro model from Apple. The extra screen space allows more room for more windows and tasks. There’s room for two documents side-by-side, more space for photos in Lightroom, and the performance gives your tasks the power to solve demanding calculations in a complex school assignment. Or stitch together seamless 4K videos without annoying interruptions or pauses. There’s nothing to hesitate about.

As have stated multiple times in the review here, the MacBook Air 15-inch is all the laptop that anyone would need. It is a device that keeps on giving and giving. And even though the M2 SoC is about two years old at this point, it just sits incredibly well with the package that Apple is giving out in this laptop. Yes, a configuration like 8GB + 256GB at this price point seems a little expensive, but there are options around that. The MacBook Air 13-inch was a great all-purpose laptop. The 15-inch version is just better and in so many ways. It has a bigger screen which allows you to do a whole lot more, and it sounds phenomenally better. And because Apple could fit a larger battery in the 15-inch version, the battery life is just phenomenal.

When it comes to iPhones and Androids, there can always be a debate on which is better and why. But in most instances - particularly if you are not going to run some specialised software - a current MacBook is better than a Windows laptop at its respective price segment. The Air 15 is arguably the best general-purpose laptop Apple has made so far. Its design is fantastic, screen good, performance more than good enough, battery life market-leading, and software easy on the eyes and genuinely useful. The Air 15 comes with a superb set of keyboard and trackpad. In every way, it is a superior general-purpose laptop compared to any other available at its price point. The only reason to pick something else above the Air 15 would be if you want a laptop with an Nvidia or AMD graphics card.

I’m not someone who demands the need for multiple, large monitors to get my work done. I’m content on a 13-inch device and prefer to stay mobile with my work, even if just moving around the house. If you’re like me, you should buy one of the 13-inch MacBook Airs – either the cheaper M1 model or the nicer-looking M2 version. The 15-inch MacBook Air gives that extra screen real estate at the expense of portability and size. But it’s hard not to also consider the 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro. After all, the 15-inch MacBook Air is the first Apple has offered a larger version of a laptop without also giving it extra performance. The phenomenon of larger but less powerful laptops is not unique to the 15-inch MacBook Air, of course. The same dichotomy exists in laptops like the Surface Laptop 5, Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, and LG Gram.

At the end of the day, the MacBook Air 15 (Mid-2023) is exactly what you expect it to be – an enlarged version of the OG MacBook Air. Yes, there are a few benefits, in addition to the larger display. One of them is the speaker setup. Instead of four, now you get six speakers – two tweeters, and two pairs of force-cancelling woofers. If anyone can pull out a fire speaker setup in an 11.5mm chassis – that’s Apple. It really makes a night and day difference, compared to other laptops in its class. Not to mention the fact that there is nothing this thin on the market. Period. Let’s not forget that Fujitsu is able to put almost every port possible in the similarly thin LifeBook U9311X. How bizarre. Earlier, we said that it is good that Apple discloses the size of its battery on its official page.

For a long time now, I always had large notebooks so that I can arrange multiple windows at work. The downside was the weight of the old MacBook Pro models placed a lot of pressure on my shoulders when traveling. That's why I opted for a 13-inch MacBook for my last two purchases. However, the new 15-inch MacBook Air is so thin and light that I carried it with me on my trips as my primary work device. Compared to my 13-inch MacBook Pro (from 2022), I have comparable performance and battery life, with just 100 grams of additional weight and significantly more display area. Price-wise, the 15-inch MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro are virtually identical. Please do not misunderstand: There are clear differences between MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

After using the MacBook Air 15-inch for the past week one thought has consistently jumped to the front of my mind – why hasn’t Apple done this before? A larger version of its most popular makes so much sense, offering customers who don’t want the 16-inch MacBook Pro a cheaper way of getting a big-screened MacBook. It won’t be much of a prediction to say this will prove to be incredibly popular. It’s fast, well-designed, has a good screen and excellent battery life. It ticks just about every box I look for when recommending a laptop and considering it’s $200/£250 more than the 13-inch, I’d say it’s one of the better-value Apple laptops too. That is until you start upgrading the memory and storage. For those who can wait, there’s always the chance the M3 upgrade will offer serious performance (and potentially battery life boosts) however this remains one of the best laptops and one of the best MacBooks on the market right now.

Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air takes everything we like about the 13-inch model and puts it in a bigger case with a larger screen. It’s a simple formula, but one that works extremely well. It does basically everything right. Performance is impressive, the screen is great, the battery lasts all day, the keyboard and trackpad are among the best you can get. And despite the large screen, the 15-inch Air is still extremely thin and light. It’s also the rare Apple computer that is an impressive value. It’s the most affordable computer they’ve ever made with a screen this size. For anyone who has wanted a bigger display but doesn’t want to shell out MacBook Pro prices, the 15-inch Air is an ideal option.

Finally: the 15” MacBook Air is real! For 2023, Apple finally gave us a big screen Mac laptop that doesn’t require an upsell to the MacBook Pro line. The Air is strikingly similar to the M2 13” MacBook Air we reviewed in 2022, and it’s available in 4 colors. It runs MacOS on the Apple M2 processor with 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores. It has a 15.3” Retina 2880 x 1864 display, a 1080p FaceTime webcam, Touch ID, Thunderbolt 3 and (thankfully) a headphone jack.

The MacBook Air 15-inch might not be revolutionary but for what it offers, it's one of the best 15-inch laptops you can buy. Its M2 chip delivers solid performance for everyday computing while its 15-inch display is ideally suited for watching videos and browsing the web. Toss in exceptional 15-hour battery life and an overall elegant design, and the MacBook Air 15 is a winner — especially for $1,299. If you'd prefer a smaller MacBook, the $1,099 MacBook Air offers performance similar to its 15-inch counterpart. Those who don't mind paying more for better performance can opt for the $1,999 entry-level MacBook Pro 14-inch 2023. Not into Apple? The Dell XPS 15 OLED (starting at $1,299) is another great alternative. Overall, the MacBook Air 15-inch is well worth considering. Right now, it's the Apple laptop to beat in terms of overall price and performance.

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch (2023) is essentially just a larger MacBook Air 13-inch – and that's both a good and bad thing. It has a stunning design, a brilliant screen, and possibly the best speaker setup you'll find in a laptop. However, the bump in screen size means it's less portable – one of the key selling points of the Air line – while anyone hoping for a more ambitious upgrade than just more screen real estate may be disappointed.

Hello, big screen. When I opened the new MacBook Air 15-inch for the first time, it felt weirdly large. I recently bought the MacBook Air 13-inch M2 model, CNET's pick for the best laptop overall, and I love it. It's my do-everything computer, and it has the speed and battery life to handle whatever I take on. No, I don't need a MacBook Pro, and you probably don't either. Apple's M2 processor in the Air already exceeds the requirements of all but the most serious creative pros. And for the first time it's now available in a roomy 15-inch laptop.

It’s great that Apple is offering a 15-inch option for the MacBook Air. Some people just love big laptops, and you shouldn’t have to spend $2,499 on a 16-inch MacBook Pro to get a big Mac laptop. We can’t fault Apple for sticking to what works with this model, despite coming out a year after the 13-inch model. It’s the same laptop, with a bigger display. That’s not bad. The 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro is a great general-purpose laptop for most people. But it’s a year later, and we can’t help but be anxious for more. Naturally we’re curious to see what an M3 has to offer, but there are other changes we’d make. At this price, the display should go above 60Hz or at the very least support variable refresh rates. Or, it should offer HDR.

The world’s most favorite Mac just got supersized! The new 15-inch MacBook Air features everything I love about my 13-inch baby, including its portability, but now with a larger display. Ever since the 11-inch MacBook Air I have valued portability above all, but when I worked on any 16-inch MacBook Pro review recently, it made me ask if I would rather have a large screen instead.

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch is pretty much the answer to my laptop prayers. I am an avid MacBook Air user and the 13.6-inch model is the MacBook I find myself recommending most, especially for everyday users. Previously, there was only one screen size to choose from, which meant that if you wanted a larger display, you would need to look at the MacBook Pro line, which is significantly more money and comes with more power than most people would ever be able to fully utilise. Now though, there's the option of this larger screen size, whilst still retaining a slim and lightweight build, plenty of power and a superb battery life like the smaller model. The bezels could be slimmer, the notch might be annoying for some and the end of the charging cable could have colour matched the cable itself, but that is literally all I can complain about here, and to be honest, that's clutching at straws.

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch is something of an experiment. It's Apple's attempt to branch out from its existing stable of products to deliver new takes on old favorites, and the first bigger Air is a rousing success. As reviewers, we're more "tests-and-data" kind of people than most laptop shoppers, blotting out brand loyalty for objective measures of capability and performance. But we cannot deny that this is a bigger and better MacBook Air—the numbers prove it out. We also can't deny that Apple has been on a winning streak with its laptops since introducing Apple Silicon, and the newest iteration of the MacBook Air proves that this winning formula isn't limited to the models already in production. With a new size, the ultraportable form factor of the MacBook Air becomes a general-purpose machine like no other, providing snappy productivity, sharp graphics, and superb battery life—all at some of Apple's most competitive pricing yet. All of that makes for an easy Editors' Choice win among midrange desktop-replacement laptops.

As you’re surely aware, the 15-inch MacBook Air is little more than a bigger version of the computer that Apple released a year ago. But that’s damming it with faint praise when actually this is one of the best Apple laptops I’ve used in a long time. It does everything the 13-inch MacBook Air does with a noticeably larger screen and only a modest price increase. The only real catch is that I think the RAM and storage in the base model is rather stingy, not an unusual tactic for Apple. The M2 smokes even with only 8GB of RAM, but consider adding more if you want your computer to remain speedy for years to come. If you travel a lot, or value portability above all else, by all means get the 13-inch model. But if I were in the market for a new laptop right now, I think the 15-inch Air would be at the top of my list. It’s fast, light and extremely pleasant to use. And getting a big screen in a compact package is just icing on the cake.

For benchmarks, the MBA 15 generated a 1921 single-core and 8951 multi-core score on the Geekbench 5 test, matching the 1895 single-core performance and multi-core score of 8808 of the MBA 13 of last year. Yes, it’s also a sign that the M2 chip is about a year old, but these specs on the review unit, of 16GB RAM and 1TB of hard drive, are more than what normal users would need out of a laptop. Heat is also not an issue and after leaving the machine on for several hours, playing video, and running some games, the MBA 15 feels relatively cooler to the touch, possibly due to the larger space on the inside that doesn’t pack the hardware, and the heat, that closely together.

So all things stated, I think I’ve found my new work laptop. The MacBook Air 15 is incredibly lightweight which will definitely come in handy when I’m on travel. The Liquid Retina display, while not the most colorful on the block, is the most accurate and the brightest. And honestly, when I’m watching movies, I really can’t tell the difference. The entry-level M2 chip can more than handle my daily workload and the Magic Keyboard makes for a comfortable typing experience hours later. Speaking of which, at just short of 15 hours of battery life, the Air 15 can more than hang with me during work hours and some off-the-clock activities if I’m so inclined. And the step up to six speakers is a great look for the Air. Plus, at $1,699, the MacBook Air 15 sits in that sweet spot of affordability, which in this economy is a godsend.

Thank God that headset shared the floor with this, a $1,300 laptop that does not claim to move the world but a laptop that does its job, with speakers, with screens, with processors that do things right. This device doesn’t manufacture a need; it found a need, and it’s filling it. We don’t need to be convinced that we want the Air 15. We’ve been waiting for it.

When Apple announced the 15-inch MacBook Air during its WWDC 2023 conference the Cupertino company assigned just four minutes and 13 seconds to its reveal. Given that showcase ran for almost two hours and six minutes, you could be under the impression that the new, larger-scale Air wasn't all that important (sure, Vision Pro did rule the show). Yet here I am, a working week into using the latest MacBook, and I want to wax lyrical about it for far more than just a few minutes – because the 15-inch MacBook Air has already become the Mac I never knew I wanted. Bigger really is better in this instance. The 15-inch model's prospect is simple really: it's a MacBook Air, embodying everything slim, light and portable about that, only it's got a bigger screen (and bigger sound as an added bonus).

Prices of the 15-inch MacBook Air will start at S$1,899, which is S$300 more than the cheapest 13-inch MacBook Air. But that’s not the best way of looking at their costs because even the cheapest 15-inch MacBook Air has a more powerful M2 chip with more GPU cores. The more accurate way would be to look at the step-up models which have 512GB of SSD storage because these models have the same 10-core GPU version of the M2 chip and 8GB of memory. If you compare the two, you might be surprised to find that the 15-inch MacBook Air only costs S$150 more. Bigger may very well be better, just look at the prices below. The 15-inch MacBook Air represents good value, not just from a Mac perspective, but even in comparison with a Windows notebook. To get a 15-inch Windows notebook with comparable performance will cost a lot more.

The 15in MacBook Air is a no-brainer buy if you want a larger Mac but don’t need the power of the 16in MacBook Pro. It feels rather odd Apple hasn’t done one before and though we’ll never find out the reason why, we know that notebooks of 15in and larger command most of the laptop market. And with a recent decline in demand for laptops in general, it makes sense for Apple to give users another option that fits nicely in between the 13in Air – that we described as the new yardstick in our review – and the Pro range. Just as with the 13in, it’s an excellent notebook that you won’t regret buying and is worth the extra outlay if you need the larger screen size.

The 15.3-inch screen size on the new MacBook Air is good for one big reason - you no longer have to consider the much more expensive and powerful MacBook Pro 16-inch if all you want is a larger screen. The new MacBook Air is reasonably well equipped for the daily computing needs of most users, and you'll probably find the 256GB of storage more than enough as well. All of that said, the MacBook Air 13-inch with the M2 chip remains my choice for the ideal entry point into the Mac laptop family, and the ideal upgrade for old-school MacBook Air users like myself. Apart from the screen size, there's not much else that the new model offers in addition to the one launched last year. Apple also announced new Mac Studio and Mac Pro variants at WWDC 2023, apart from the iOS 17, iPadOS 17, MacOS Sonoma, and the almost unbelievable Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset.

Other notable specs include 18 hours of battery life, an improved six-speaker system that, as far as I can tell, surprisingly sounds in line with the 16-inch MacBook Pro’s impressive audio quality, and of course, the same M2 chip as the 13-inch MacBook Air. And finally, all versions of the 15-inch Air feature an 8-Core CPU/10-Core GPU, unlike the 13-inch version.

We go hands-on with the new MacBook Air 15-inch M2 at WWDC 2023. This machine builds on the success of last year’s 13-inch MacBook Air, but with a larger 15.3-inch display that seems great for multitasking. Here are our first impressions of the design, specs, features and more.
