Günstig ist unser M11x dabei aber leider keineswegs. Viel falsch machen konnte Alienware nicht, das war von vornherein klar. Dass das M11x-Konzept funktioniert wurde bereits mehrfach eindrucksvoll unter Beweis gestellt und dass auch die Sandy-Bridge-Plattform ein Garant für uneingeschränkten Mobile-Fun ist, haben die letzten Monate gezeigt.

When Jarred reviewed the Alienware M11x R2, he was so pleased with it that he did the most sensible thing he could: compiled a wish list for the next generation model. Improved connectivity, a better screen, and DirectX 11-class graphics. There was no excuse for omission of gigabit ethernet in the R2, but there wasn't a good, power-optimized DX11 solution on hand at the time either.

When we reviewed the initial version of the M11x on launch day, just over a year ago, we were very impressed by the amount of performance Alienware had managed to fit into such a compact system.
