► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i7-13800H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5,2 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,8 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 4 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ).
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i7-13800H den älteren Core i9-12900H abhängen und ist damit die dritt-schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13800H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1500 MHz.
Features
Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13800H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (PL2 115 Watt). Gefertigt wird der 13800H im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).
Intel Core i9-12900H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i9-12900H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,8 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ). Im Vergleich zum 12900HK bietet der 12900H keinen freien Multiplikator, aber unterstützt das volle "Enterprise" Feature-Set von vPro (Management Features).
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H mit 8 Kernen) kann der 12900H in allen Bereichen punkten. Die neuen Golden Cove Kerne bieten eine leicht höhere Single Thread Performance und dank der gesamt 14 Kerne können Multi-Thread-Anwendungen deutlich beschleunigt werden. Intel gibt z.b. bei Spielen eine 13% höhere Performance an (1080p high) und bei Blender Rendering 30% weniger Renderzeit (BMW Car Demo).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,45 GHz.
