Der Intel Core i7-13705H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 5 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,7 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,7 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Ähnlich zum i7-13700H jedoch ohne vPro-Support und mit anderem Package und Socket.
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktraten der Rocket-Lake-Serie, kann der i8-13705H sich auf das Niveau des alten Core i9-12900H heben und gehört damit zu einer sehr schnellen mobilen CPU, die sich für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Die Leistung sollte identisch zum i7-13700H sein.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13705H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13705H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (PL2 115 Watt). Gefertigt wird der 13705H im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).

Der Intel Core i7-13700 ist ein top moderner und sparsamer Desktop Prozessor der aktuellen Raptor-Lake-Serie. Der Prozessor wurde am 04.01.2023 vorgestellt und bietet einen Basistakt von 2,1 GHz. Im Turbo erreicht dieser bis zu 5,2 GHz. Wie schon bei Alder Lake-S basiert auch Raptor Lake-S auf einem hybriden Design, welches P- und E-Kerne miteinander vereint. Gegenüber dem Intel Core i7-12700 wurde die Anzahl der E-Kerne auf 8 verdoppelt, womit der Intel Core i7-13700 zusammen mit seinen 8 P-kernen bis zu 24 Threads bietet. Gefertigt wird der Prozessor weiterhin 10-nm-Fertigungsprozess. Einen frei wählbaren Multiplikator gibt es bei dem Intel Core i7-13700 nicht und als Basis dient weiterhin der mit der Alder-Lake-Serie eingeführte LGA 1700 Sockel.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i7-12700 konnte die IPC beim neuen Core i7-13700 etwas gesteigert werden. Gleichwohl gibt es nunmehr durch die 4 zusätzlichen E-Cores etwas mehr Leistung bei Multi-Thread-Aufgaben. Somit rangiert der Intel Core i7-13700 auf dem Level eines Intel Core i9-12900K, welcher ebenfalls in Summe 24 Threads bietet.
Grafikeinheit
Bei dem Intel Core i7-13700 handelt es sich um einen Prozessor mit integrierter Grafikeinheit. Mit der Intel UHD Graphics 770 gibt es jedoch nur eine einfache iGPU welche nur für den Office-Betrieb geeignet ist.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die TDP des Intel Core i7-13700 beläuft sich auf 65 Watt im PL1. Die PL2-Grenze definiert Intel bei 219 Watt. Werden die Restriktionen bezüglich der Leistungsaufnahme im BIOS deaktiviert, kann der PL2-Wert dauerhaft erreicht und bei einer guten Kühlung sogar übertroffen werden. Hierfür sollte aber eine hochwertige und leistungsstarke Kühleinheit verwendet werden.
