Der Intel Core i7-13700H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 5 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,7 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,7 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ).
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktraten der Rocket-Lake-Serie, kann der i7-13700H sich auf das Niveau des alten Core i9-12900H heben und gehört damit zu einer sehr schnellen mobilen CPU, die sich für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13700H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13700H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (PL2 115 Watt). Gefertigt wird der 13700H im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).
Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-46-100 ► remove from comparison
Der Snapdragon X Plus X1P-46-100 ist ein relativ erschwinglicher Prozessor (bzw. SoC) mit ARM-Architektur für den Einsatz in Windows-Laptops, der im H2 2024 auf den Markt kommen soll. Der X1P-46-100 verfügt über 8 Oryon-CPU-Kerne (8 Threads), die mit einer Taktfrequenz von bis zu 4 GHz (Single Thread) bzw. maximal 3,4 GHz (Multi Thread) arbeiten. Was die anderen Hauptmerkmale betrifft, so verfügt das X Plus über eine 2,1 TFLOPS Adreno X1-45 GPU, 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU und LPDDR5x-8448 Speichercontroller.
Architektur und Merkmale
Die Oryon-Kerne von Qualcomm basieren zum Teil auf Nuvia-IP; höchstwahrscheinlich nutzen sie die ARM v8.7-Mikroarchitektur. Ähnlich wie moderne AMD- und Intel-Prozessoren ist der Snapdragon-Chip mit USB 4 und damit mit Thunderbolt 4 kompatibel.
Der SoC soll über 8 PCIe-4- und 4 PCIe-3-Lanes für den Anschluss verschiedener Geräte verfügen. NVMe-SSDs werden mit einem Durchsatz von bis zu 7,9 GB/s unterstützt. Eine 45-TOPS-NPU zur Beschleunigung von KI-Workloads ist höchstwahrscheinlich enthalten.
Dieser X Plus-Chip verwendet nicht denselben Chip, auf dem der X1P-64-100, X1E-78-100, X1E-80-100 und X1E-84-100 basieren.
Leistung
Wie bei AMD-, Intel- und Nvidia-Produkten hängt viel von den TDP-Einstellungen des Notebooks ab. Dennoch erwarten wir, dass der X1P-46-100 bei der Ausführung von Multi-Thread-x86-Code nur ein wenig schneller ist als ein Intel Core i5-1245U .
Grafik
Der hier verwendete X1-45 liefert eine Leistung von bis zu 2,1 TFLOPS . Im Gegensatz zu den deutlich schnelleren 3,8 TFLOPS und 4,6 TFLOPS X1-85 iGPUs verfügt diese kleine Grafikkarte über deutlich weniger Unified Shader. Die Spieleleistung soll für Pre-2021-Spiele mit Auflösungen wie 1600x900 bei niedrigen Grafikeinstellungen ausreichen. Kompatibilitätsprobleme können jedoch das Ausführen vieler Spiele verhindern.
AVC-, HEVC- und AV1-Videocodecs können sowohl hardware-decodiert als auch hardware-encodiert werden, während bei VP9 nur die Decodierung möglich ist. Die höchste unterstützte Bildschirmauflösung ist UHD 2160p.
Leistungsaufnahme
Je nach System und gewähltem Energieprofil kann man unter Dauerbelastung mit 15 bis 30 Watt rechnen. Diese Zahl schließt den Arbeitsspeicher mit ein.

Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo, alle Kerne bis 4,7 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 13700H bietet der 13620H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und wahrscheinlich eine schwächere iGPU.
Performance
Durch die höhere Taktung, sollte sich der i7-13620H etwas vom alten Core i7-12650H abheben können, bleibt aber hinter den 14-Kern-Modellen zurück (wie z.B. Core i7-13700H ).
