Der Intel Core i5-1365U ist eine High-End-Notebook-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-U (RPL-U) Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet 2 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 1,8 bis 5,2 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,3 - 3,9 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Weiters unterstützt der i5-1365U vPro-Enterprise -Management-Features.
Performance
Durch die hohen Taktraten, ist die Performance etwas oberhalb des alten Core i7-1265U (max 4.8 GHz). Wie üblich bei Alder Lake ist die Performance stark abhängig von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1365U sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,3 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt LPDDR5-6400. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-1365U ist mit 15 Watt (PL1) TDP und 55 Watt (PL2) max. Turbo Power angegeben. Gefertigt wird der Prozessor im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).
Intel Core i7-14700K ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-14700K ist ein Desktop-Prozessor auf Basis der Raptor-Lake-Architektur, welche mit kleinen Verbesserungen die 13. Generation der Intel Core Prozessoren beerbt. Der Prozessor bietet einen Basistakt von 2,5 GHz bzw 3,4 GHz und erreicht bis zu 5,6 GHz im Turbo. Am groben CPU-Aufbau ändert sich nichts. Somit bekommt auch der Intel Core i5-14700K 8 P-Kerne und 12 E-Kerne, womit zusammen bis zu 28 Threads parallel verarbeitet werden können. Der Intel Core i5-14700K bietet weiterhin einen frei wählbaren Multiplikator, was das Übertakten deutlich vereinfacht. Als Basis wird ebenfalls auf den LGA 1700 Sockel gesetzt, welcher bereits mit Alder-Lake eingeführt wurde.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i5-13700K konnte die IPC beim neuen Core i5-14700K nur leicht gesteigert werden. Dadurch ist der Leistungsunterschied nur auf die höhere Anzahl an Effizienzkernen (12 vs. 8) und höhere Taktraten zurückzuführen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie schon der Intel Core i5-13700K verfügt auch der Intel Core i5-14700K über eine integrierte Grafikeinheit. Als Basis dient weiterhin die Intel Iris Xe-Architektur. Rein leistungstechnisch hat sich bei der Intel UHD Graphics 770 aber nichts verändert.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die TDP des Intel Core i5-14700K beläuft sich auf 125 Watt, mit der Option, im Turbo-Modus bis zu 253 Watt zu verbrauchen.
