Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo, alle Kerne bis 4,7 GHz). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 13700H bietet der 13620H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und wahrscheinlich eine schwächere iGPU.
Performance
Durch die höhere Taktung, sollte sich der i7-13620H etwas vom alten Core i7-12650H abheben können, bleibt aber hinter den 14-Kern-Modellen zurück (wie z.B. Core i7-13700H ).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 13620H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt jetzt DDR5-5200 (im Vergleich zur 4800 MHz beim 12650H). Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-13620H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Gefertigt wird der i7 im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).

Der Intel Core i7-12650H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,3 bis 4,7 GHz. Im Vergleich zum 12700H bietet der 12650H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und eine schwächere iGPU. Auch vPro wird gar nicht unterstützt.
Performance
Durch die 10 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner (bei vergleichbaren Takt, wie der i7-11800H mit bis zu 4,8 GHz) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12650H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit

Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,8 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Die K-Variante bezeichnet den freien Multiplikator, wodurch sich die CPU übertakten lässt. Im Unterschied zum 12900H, bietet der 12900HK nur die "Essentials"-Features von vPro.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H mit 8 Kernen) kann der 12900HK in allen Bereichen punkten. Die neuen Golden Cove Kerne bieten eine leicht höhere Single Thread Performance und dank der gesamt 14 Kerne können Multi-Thread-Anwendungen deutlich beschleunigt werden. Intel gibt z.b. bei Spielen eine durchschnittlich 13% höhere Performance an und bei Blender Rendering 30% weniger Renderzeit (BMW Car Demo). In unseren Tests ist die Performance stark abhängig von den TDP Settings und der Kühlung und kann sich im Schnitt etwas vom Ryzen 9 6900HX absetzen (+11% zur Zeit des Schreibens, siehe Vergleich ).
