Der Intel Core i7-12800H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,8 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,7 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 12900H bietet der 12800H etwas geringere Taktraten und bietet ebenfalls das volle "Enterprise"-Set von vPro.
Performance
Durch die 14 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung deutlich oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner liegen und auch das alte Topmodell Intel Core i9-11980HK schlagen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12800H auch noch schneller sein, danke der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12800H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,4 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-12800H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der 12800H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).

Der Intel Core i5-1335U ist eine Mittelklasse-Notebook-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-U (RPL-U) Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet 2 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 1,3 bis 4,6 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 0,9 - 3,4 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Weiters unterstützt der i5-1345U vPro-Essentials -Management-Features.
Performance
Durch die ähnlichen Taktraten, ist die Performance vergleichbar mit dem alten Core i7-1250U (+100 MHz P-Kerne Basistakt im Vergleich). Wie üblich bei Alder Lake ist die Performance stark abhängig von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1335U sind 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,25 GHz.

Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur) für gesamt 8 Kerne (Octa-Core). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 2 bis 4,4 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,5 - 3,3 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Im Vergleich zum i5-12500H bietet der 12450 weniger Effizienzkerne, geringere Taktraten, eine schwächere iGPU und kein vPro.
Performance
Durch die Mischung aus P-Core und E-Cores sollte die Leistung in Multithreaded-Anwendungen vergleichbar sein mit ähnlich getakteten Tiger Lake-H CPUs und oberhalb der Tiger Lake 6-Kerner (wie i5-11500H ) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12450H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur.
