► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i7-12700H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,4 bis 4,7 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ). Im Vergleich zum 12900H bietet der 12700H etwas geringere Taktraten und nur das eingeschränkte "Essentials"-Set von vPro.
Performance
Durch die 14 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner liegen und sicher den alten Core i7-11700H schlagen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12700H auch noch schneller sein, danke der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12800H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,4 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-12700H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der 12700H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
Intel Core i5-1350P
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-1350P ist eine Mittelklasse-CPU der Raptor Lake-P Serie (Alder Lake Refresh) welche im Jänner 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und alle 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 1,9 GHz (Basistakt) bis 4,7 GHz (Einzelkern Boost). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,4 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ). Der i5-1350P unterstützt das volle Set der vPro Management Features (Enterprise).
Performance
Durch die höheren Taktraten kann sich der i5-1350P vom alten i5-1250P leicht absetzen und sollte auf dem Niveau des i7-1260P sich einreihen (ebenfalls maximal 4.7 GHz und 12 Kerne).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1350P sind 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,5 GHz.
