Der Intel Core i7-1265U ist eine High-End Notebook-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-M Chip (für die U-Serie) und bietet 2 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 1,8 bis 4,8 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,3 - 3,6 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Der i7-1265U ist die schnellste U-Series-CPU zum Launch mit 15W und bietet "Enterprise" vPro Features.
Performance
Durch die 10 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung deutlich oberhalb der alten 15 Watt 4-Kerner der Tiger Lake Serie liegen (wie z.B. dem i7-1160G7 ). Im Vergleich zu der H-Serie wird bei längerer Last aber der TDP die Leistung limitieren. Bei der Einzelkernperformance sollte der i7 dank der neuen Architektur auch ähnlich hoch getaktete Tiger Lake CPUs abhängen können.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1265U sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,25 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-1265U ist mit 15 Watt (PL1) TDP und 55 Watt (PL2) max. Turbo Power angegeben. Gefertigt wird der Prozessor im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
Intel Core i5-11300H ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-11300H ist ein Quad-Core-Mittelklasse-Prozessor für dünne Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H35) und wurde Anfangs 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip kann von 28 bis 35 Watt (TDP) konfiguriert werden und bietet einen Basistakt von 2,6 (28 W) bis 3,1 GHz (garantierter Minimumtakt unter Last). Ein und zwei Kerne können im kurzfristigen Boost 4,4 Ghz erreichen, alle vier Kerne gleichzeitig bis zu 4 GHz. Der L3-Cache wurde beim 11300H von 12 auf 8 MB verringert.
Damit entspricht der i5-11300H einem Core i5-1145G7 , der jedoch von 12 - 28 Watt TDP konfigurierbar ist und einen geringeren Basistakt von 1,1 - 2,6 GHz bietet. Der alte Core i5-10300H taktet zwar ähnlich hoch mit 2,5 - 4,5 GHz, nutzt aber noch die alten Skylake Kerne und ist dadurch langsamer.
Die integrierte Intel Xe Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet 80 der 96 Kerne und taktet mit 400 - 1300 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6/6e) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der i5-11300H wird im verbesserten 10nm Verfahren (10nm SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt. Dieser ist in etwas vergleichbar mit dem 7nm Prozess bei TSMC.

Der Intel Core i7-11375H ist ein Quad-Core-Prozessor für dünne Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H35) und wurde Anfangs 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip kann von 28 bis 35 Watt (TDP) konfiguriert werden und bietet einen Basistakt von 3 (28 W) bis 3,3 GHz (garantierter Minimumtakt unter Last). Ein einzelner Kern kann per Turbo Boost 3.0 auf 5 GHz takten, zwei auf maximal 4,8 und alle vier mit 4,3 GHz. Der L3-Cache beträgt wie beim i7-11370H die vollen 12 MB.
Bis auf den Turbo Boost 3.0 Takt eines einzelnen Kerns, ist der 11375H identisch zum 11370H . Dadurch ist er auch nur bei wenigen Tasks etwas schneller als dieser. Die Leistung sollte deutlich oberhalb des alten Core i5-10400H (schnellster H-Serie Quad Core der 10. Generation) liegen. Der nächst-schnellere Core i7-10750H bietet bereits 6 Kerne.
Die integrierte Intel Xe Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet alle 96 Kerne und taktet mit 400 - 1350 MHz.
