Der Intel Core i7-12650H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,3 bis 4,7 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,7 - 3,5 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ). Im Vergleich zum 12700H bietet der 12650H nur halb so viele E-Kerne und eine schwächere iGPU. Auch vPro wird gar nicht unterstützt.
Performance
Durch die 10 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner (bei vergleichbaren Takt, wie der i7-11800H mit bis zu 4,8 GHz) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12650H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12650H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,4 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i7-12650H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (115W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der i7-12650H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).

Der Intel Core i9-13905H ist eine High-End-CPU der Raptor-Lake-H Serie (RPL-H). Im Unterschied zu RPL-HX, ist die H-Serie sehr ähnlich zu den alten Alder-Lake-Prozessoren. Die CPU bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove oder Raptor Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 20 Threads) und takten von 2,6 bis 5,4 GHz (Einzelkernturbo, 4,9 GHz für alle Kerne). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,9 - 4,1 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6920HQ ). Im Unterschied zum ähnlichen i9-13900H ohne vPro Unterstütztung und mit einem anderen Socket und Package.
Performance
Durch die höheren Tatkraten, kann der Core i9-13905H den älteren Core i9-12900H leicht abhängen und ist damit gemeinsam mit dem 13900HK die schnellste 45 Watt CPU von Intel. Bei ausreichender Kühlung, ist die CPU für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet. Vor dem 13905H positionieren sich jedoch die HX-Modelle wie der i9-13980HX mit mehr E-Kernen und verbesserten P-Kernen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12900H sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert.

Wie auch Alder-Lake-H, hat Raptor-Lake-H WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt nun schnelleren DDR5-5200 Speicher. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist weiterhin in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i9-13905H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (PL2 115 Watt). Gefertigt wird der 13905H im weiter verbesserten Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm SuperFin).

Der Intel Core i9-12900HK ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11980HK (Tiger Lake-H mit 8 Kernen) kann der 12900HK in allen Bereichen punkten. Die neuen Golden Cove Kerne bieten eine leicht höhere Single Thread Performance und dank der gesamt 14 Kerne können Multi-Thread-Anwendungen deutlich beschleunigt werden. Intel gibt z.b. bei Spielen eine durchschnittlich 13% höhere Performance an und bei Blender Rendering 30% weniger Renderzeit (BMW Car Demo). In unseren Tests ist die Performance stark abhängig von den TDP Settings und der Kühlung und kann sich im Schnitt etwas vom Ryzen 9 6900HX absetzen (+11% zur Zeit des Schreibens, siehe Vergleich ).
