Der Intel Core i7-1195G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert Mitte 2021 als Refresh vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Basistakt liegt zwischen 1,3 GHz (12 Watt TDP) bis 3,9 GHz (28 Watt TDP). Der Turbo kann bis zu 5 GHz erreichen (einzelner Kern mit Turbo Boost 3.0). Alle Kerne können maximal 4,6 GHz erreichen. Zum Zeitpunkt der Vorstellung ist der i7-1195G7 das schnellste Tiger-Lake-Modell.
Die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet alle 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1400 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6E) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden (mit unterschiedlichem Basistakt) und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
Intel Core i5-11600K ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-11600K ist ein topmoderner und sehr schneller Sechs-Kern-Prozessor auf Basis der neuen Rocket-Lake-Architektur, die im März 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Der Prozessor bietet einen Basistakt von 3,9 GHz und erreicht bis zu 4,9 GHz im Turbo. Genauso wie sein Vorgänger verzichtet Intel nicht auf Hyperthreading, womit der Core i5-11600K ebenfalls bis zu 12 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten kann. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i5-11600K weiterhin im 14-nm-Prozess. Dennoch hat Intel hier weitreichende Veränderungen am Design des Prozessors vorgenommen um die IPC-Leistung weiter zu erhöhen. Der Intel Core i5-11600K bietet weiterhin einen freien Multiplikator, was das Übertakten deutlich vereinfacht. Für die beste Performance sollte ein Mainboard mit dem neuen Z590-Chipsatz als Basis diesen.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i5-10600K bietet der Core i5-11600K eine deutlich höhere IPC. Das wird in den Single-Core-Tests sehr deutlich. Aber auch die Multi-Core-Performance profitiert von der gesteigerten IPC, sodass der neue Core i5-11600K den i5-10600K um ca. 20 Prozent überlegen ist. Auf den TVB (Thermal Velocity Boost) muss allerdings verzichtet werden. Nur über den "normalen" Intel Turbo Boost (2.0) verfügt das neue Modell. Im Umkehrschluss bedeutet dies aber keineswegs eine schlechtere Leistung. Mit bis zu 4,9 GHz taktet der Intel Core i5-11600K etwas höher als der Core i5-10600K. Gleichwohl liegt aber der All-Core-Boost bei 4,6 GHz. Aufgrund der sehr hohen Single-Thread-Leistung ist der Intel Core i5-11600K für Videospiele bestens geeignet.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Intel Core i5-10600K bietet der Intel Core i5-11600K eine integrierte Grafikeinheit. Mit der neuen Intel UHD Graphics 750 erhöht Intel die Performance der IGPU um bis zu 50 Prozent. Hierbei dient die Intel Iris XE-Architektur als Basis.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die TDP des Intel Core i5-11600K beläuft sich weiterhin auf 125 Watt mit der Option im Turbo bis zu 182 Watt zu benötigen. Somit hat sich im Vergleich zur älteren Comet Lake-S-Generation nichts verändert.
Intel Core i5-1145G7 ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i5-1145G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und Anfang 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Architektur. Die Basis-Taktraten sind je nach TDP Einstellung unterschiedlich. Bei 12 Watt 1,1 GHz und bei maximalen 28 Watt taktet er mit garantierten 2,6 GHz. Der Boost Takt ist bei allen mit maximal 4,4 GHz spezifiziert.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) mit 80 EUs und bis zu 1,3 GHz welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bietet.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters unterstützt die CPU vPro-Management-Features .
