Intel Core i7-11800H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i7-11800H ist ein Octa-Core-Prozessor für Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H45) und wurde im 2. Quartal 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip bietet einen TDP von 45 Watt (konfigurierbar). Die Prozessorkerne können von 2,3 bis 4,6 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo) takten. Alle Kerne gemeinsam können maximal 4,2 GHz erreichen. Der Prozessor bietet 24 MB Level 3 Cache und unterstützt DDR4-3200 Speicher. Die integrierte Grafik basiert auf die Xe-Architektur und ist UHD Graphics benannt (32 EUs). Im 11800H taktet sie von 350 - 1450 MHz. Der Chip wird im neuen 10nm SuperFin Prozess gefertigt.
Dank der neuen Tiger Lake Architektur sollte die Leistung deutlich oberhalb des Vorgängers, dem Intel Core i7-10875H (Comet Lake-H, 2,3 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) liegen (Einzel- und Mehrkernperformance). Damit sollte die Performance vergleichbar sein eines einem aktuellem Ryzen 7 5800H (Zen 3; 3,2 - 4,4 GHz; 16 MB L3), oder auch etwas langsamer.
Wie bei den kleineren Tiger-Lake-Chips wird auch hier WLAN (Wifi 6E) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters bietet der i7-11800H 20 PCIe 4.0 Lanes.
Der TDP ist bei 2,3 GHz Basistakt mit 45 Watt spezifiziert und kann auf 35 Watt und dadurch 1,9 GHz verringert werden (cTDP). Dadurch eignet sich die CPU am besten für große und schwere Notebooks.
Intel Core i9-10980HK
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i9-10980HK ist ein Achtkern-SoC für Notebooks, der auf der auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur basiert (CML-H, 4. Generation der Skylake Architektur). Er taktet die acht Prozessorkerne mit 2,4 GHz bis 5,3 GHz (Ein- und Zweikern Turbo, alle 8 Kerne mit maximal 4,4 GHz). Die 5,3 GHz können nur mittel Thermal Velocity Boost erreicht werden, das heißt die CPU muss unter 65°C heiß sein. Zwischen 65 und 85°C erreicht er noch 5,2 GHz. Die K-Version bezeichnet die Übertaktungsmöglichkeiten der CPU.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte hört auf den Namen UHD Graphics 630 und entspricht der alten HD Graphics 630. Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger dem Core i9-9980H wurden nur die Taktfrequenzen erhöht (eventuell nur der garantierter Basistakt), sonst gibt es keine Unterschiede. Als "K"-Modell bietet der 9980HK einen offenen Multiplikator und kann dadurch relativ einfach übertaktet werden.
Die einzelnen Kerne haben sich bei Comet Lake im Vergleich zu Kaby Lake nicht verändert. Die Leistung pro Takt bleibt also gleich und auch die Fertigung ist im Vergleich zu Coffee Lake die selbe (14nm++). Auch die Grafikkarte wurde nicht verbessert, sondern lediglich teilweise höher getaktet. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt nun DDR4-2933.
Der i9-10980HK unterstützt kein vPro, TXT und SIPP, für diese Business Features ist der später erscheinende Core i9-10885H und ev etwas langsamer getaktete geeignet.
Mit einem spezifizierten TDP von 45 Watt eignet sich der i9-10980HK am besten für große und schwere Notebooks. Optional kann er per Configurable TDP-down auf 35 Watt gedrosselt werden (mit dadurch geringerer Leistung).
Intel Core i5-10300H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-10300H ist ein Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks, der auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur (4. Generation der Skylake Architektur) basiert. Er taktet die vier Prozessorkerne mit 2,5 - 4,5 GHz (4,2 GHz wenn alle 4 Kerne ausgelastet sind). Die integrierte Grafikkarte hört auf den Namen UHD Graphics 630 und entspricht der alten HD Graphics 630. Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann wahrscheinlich vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger dem Intel Core i5-9300H wurde nur der Takt um 100 MHz (Base) bis 400 MHz (Boost) (und ev. GPU) erhöht, sonst gibt es keine Unterschiede.
Die Leistung des i5-10300H ist bei guter Kühlung auf dem Niveau des alten Core i7-8750H (6 Kerne aber geringere Taktfrequenzen). Bei Tests die alle Threads nutzen, sind die 6-Kerner und 8-Kerner aber noch klar schneller. Der alte Core i5-9300H kann durch die höheren Taktfrequenzen aber deutlich abgehängt werden. Generell, eignet sich die CPU gut für Multitasking und auch anspruchsvolle Aufgaben, sehr schnelle Grafikkarten werden aber etwas ausgebremst vom 10300H.
Die einzelnen Kerne haben sich bei Comet Lake im Vergleich zu Kaby Lake nicht verändert.
