Intel Core i5-12500H
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-12500H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Alder-Lake-Architektur, die im Januar 2022 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet 4 der 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und alle 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 4,5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 3,3 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ). Im Vergleich zum 12600H bietet der 12500H weniger Basistakt, eine langsamer getaktete iGPU und nur "Essentials" vPro.
Performance
Durch die 10 Kerne sollte die Multithread-Leistung oberhalb der alten Tiger-Lake-8-Kerner (bei vergleichbaren Takt, also schneller als ein i5-11500H 6-Kerner mit bis zu 4,6 GHz) liegen. Bei der Einzelkernperformance dürfte der 12500H auch noch schneller sein, dank der neuen Architektur. Vergleich zum i5-12600H, sollte der 12500H sehr ähnlich performen (bei ausreichend Kühlung).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 12500H sind nur 80 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,3 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 und LPDDR4x-4267. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i5-12500H ist mit 45 Watt TDP angegeben (95W PL2). Bei geringer Last, sollte der Stromverbrauch dank der sparsamen Gracemont Kerne sehr gut sein. Gefertigt wird der i5-12500H im modernen Intel 7 Prozess (10 nm).
Intel Core i7-1185G7
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i7-1185G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der i7-1185G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 3 GHz Basistakt (bei 28 W TDP, 1,2 GHz bei 12 W) und 4,8 GHz Turbo-Takt (4,3 GHz für alle Kerne). Dadurch liegt die Leistung deutlich oberhalb des alten Ice-Lake basierten Core i7-1065G7. Zum Zeitpunkt der Vorstellung ist der i7-1185G7 das schnellste Tiger-Lake-Modell. Seit Anfang 2021 unterstützt der i7-1185G7 offiziell vPro.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1185G7 bietet die Iris Xe alle 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1350 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden (mit unterschiedlichem Basistakt) und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
Intel Core i7-12650H
