► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-1155G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und Mitte 2021 vorgestellt wurde (als Teil des Refresh). Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Architektur. Die Basis-Taktraten sind je nach TDP Einstellung unterschiedlich. Bei 12 Watt 1 GHz und bei maximalen 28 Watt taktet er mit garantierten 2,5 GHz. Der Boost Takt ist bei allen mit maximal 4,5 GHz spezifiziert.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) mit 80 EUs und bis zu 1,35 GHz welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bietet.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.

Apple M1 Pro
► remove from comparisonDer Apple M1 Pro ist ein System on a Chip (SoC) von Apple, der im Apple MacBook Pro 14 und 16 aus 2021 verbaut wird. Es integriert alle 10 CPU Kerne von denen zwei Stromspar-Kerne sind (E-Cores) und 8 Performance-Kerne (P-Cores). Die Taktung der Performance-Kerne rangiert von 600 bis 3220 MHz, die Effizienz-Kerne können von 600 bis 2064 MHz takten. Einen kurzen Turbo Boost oder höhere Taktraten für einzelne Kerne gibt es nicht. Neben den 28 MB L2 Cache, kann die CPU und die GPU auf 24 MB System Level Cache zurückgreifen.
Der Chip wird mit 16 GB LPDDR5-6400 Unified Memory ausgeliefert auf die CPU und GPU gleichzeitig zugreifen können und die mit einem schnellen 256 Bit Speicherbus (max. 200 GB/s) angebunden werden.
Weiters bietet der Chip eine 16-Kern-Neural-Engine für AI-Beschleunigung, die Secure Enclave, Unified Memory Architecture, ISP und Media De- und Encoder.
Der TDP des Chips wird nicht angegeben, die Package Power kann aber bis zu 46W betragen (CPU und GPU gemeinsam). Der Prozessor-Teil alleine kann sich ca 21,5 Watt genehmigen.
Der Chip wird im modernen 5nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und soll sehr energieffizient sein.
Intel Core i5-1135G7
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-1135G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Intel Core i5-1135G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 2,4 GHz Basistakt und 4,2 GHz Turbo-Takt. Im Vergleich bieten die schnelleren Core i7 Modelle einen deutlich höheren Takt (z.B. Core i7-1186G7 3 - 4,3 GHz).
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1135G7 bietet die Iris Xe jedoch nur 80 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1300 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
