Der Intel Core i5-1145G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und Anfang 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Architektur. Die Basis-Taktraten sind je nach TDP Einstellung unterschiedlich. Bei 12 Watt 1,1 GHz und bei maximalen 28 Watt taktet er mit garantierten 2,6 GHz. Der Boost Takt ist bei allen mit maximal 4,4 GHz spezifiziert.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) mit 80 EUs und bis zu 1,3 GHz welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bietet.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters unterstützt die CPU vPro-Management-Features .

AMD Ryzen 5 2600H ► remove from comparison
Der AMD Ryzen 5 2600H ist ein Mobilprozessor für Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 bis 3,6 GHz takten. Im Vergleich zum Ryzen 5 2500U ist der Basistakt deutlich höher (3,2 GHz versus 2 GHz), es wird DDR4-3200 Speicher unterstützt und der TDP ebenfalls (35 Watt versus 15 Watt). Die integrierte Grafikkarte bietet 8 CUs im Chip (= 512 Shader) und wird AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 Mobile heissen.
Die Prozessor-Leistung sollte durch den höheren TDP etwas oberhalb des Ryzen 5 2500U liegen, da die Turbo Taktraten dadurch wahrscheinlich im Schnitt länger gehalten werden können.
Durch den erhöhten Stromverbrauch (TDP konfigurierbar von 35 - 54 Watt), eignet sich der Ryzen 7 2800H nur für große und schwere Notebooks.

Der AMD Ryzen 3 2200U ist ein Mobilprozessor für schlanke Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet zwei Zen Kerne (Dual-Core CPU, mit SMT daher 4 Threads gleichzeitig) die von 2,5 - 3,4 GHz getaktet werden. Der TDP ist konfigurierbar zwischen 12 und 25 Watt (15 Watt nominell) und daher eignet sich die APU auch für schlanke und leichte Notebooks. Der L3-Cache beträgt beim 2200U 4 MB. Weiters ist eine Radeon RX Vega 3 getaufte Grafikkarte mit 3 CUs (192 Shader mit maximal 1000 MHz) integriert. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt maximal Dual-Channel DDR4-2400.
