Der Intel Core i5-1145G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und Anfang 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Architektur. Die Basis-Taktraten sind je nach TDP Einstellung unterschiedlich. Bei 12 Watt 1,1 GHz und bei maximalen 28 Watt taktet er mit garantierten 2,6 GHz. Der Boost Takt ist bei allen mit maximal 4,4 GHz spezifiziert.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) mit 80 EUs und bis zu 1,3 GHz welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bietet.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters unterstützt die CPU vPro-Management-Features .

Intel Pentium Silver N6000 ► remove from comparison
Der I ntel Pentium Silver N6000 ist ein Anfang 2021 vorgestellter Quad-Core-SoC, der hauptsächlich in preiswerten Notebooks verbaut wird. Er taktet mit 1,1 bis 3,3 GHz (Einzelkern Burst) und gehört der Jasper-Lake-Plattform an. Die Fertigung erfolgt im modernen 10nm Prozess bei Intel. Neben den vier CPU-Kernen integriert der Chip auch eine DirectX-12-fähige Grafikeinheit mit 32 EUs und einem Takt von bis zu 850 MHz, sowie einen LPDDR4(x)-Speichercontroller (Dual-Channel, 2.933 MHz, 16 GB max.). Der SoC kann nicht ausgetauscht werden, da er direkt mit dem Mainboard verlötet wird (BGA Package).
Weiterhin integriert der Chip teilweise WLAN und kann kostengünstig mit Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) ausgestattet werden. 8 PCIe Gen3 Lanes werden vom SoC nach aussen geführt und 14 USB 2.0/3.2 und 2 SATA 6.0 Anschlüsse können verbaut werden. Das Package des SoCs misst 35 x 24 mm und ist damit deutlich größer als beim Vorgänger (25 x 24 mm).
Architektur
Die Prozessor-Architektur der Jasper Lake SoCs wurde im Vergleich zum Vorgänger deutlich weiterentwickelt. Im Schnitt soll sich die Einzelkernperformance im Vergleich zu Goldmont Plus um 30% erhöhen (10 - 80% bei den SPECint und SPECfp Benchmarks).
Performance
Durch die schnellere Architektur sollte der Pentium N6000 deutlich schneller sein als der alte Pentium N5030 , aber noch hinter den Tiger Lake Quad-Core CPUs zurückliegen. Der N6000 bewältigt jedoch problemlos die meisten Alltagsanwendungen (Office, Browsing) und ist auch für moderates Multitasking geeignet.
Grafik
Die integrierte UHD Graphics Grafikeinheit bietet 32 EUs (Gen. 11 Grafikkerne wie Ice Lake) welche mit 350 - 850 MHz getaktet werden. Es werden bis zu 3 Bildschirme mit 4k60 Auflösung unterstützt
Leistungsaufnahme
Der gesamte SoC wird von Intel wie der Vorgänger mit einer TDP von 6 Watt spezifiziert (SDP 4,8 Watt - Scenario Design Power). Damit kann der Chip prinzipiell rein passiv gekühlt werden, jedoch sind auch Varianten mit Lüfter möglich.

Der Intel Core i5-1135G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Intel Core i5-1135G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 2,4 GHz Basistakt und 4,2 GHz Turbo-Takt. Im Vergleich bieten die schnelleren Core i7 Modelle einen deutlich höheren Takt (z.B. Core i7-1186G7 3 - 4,3 GHz).
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1135G7 bietet die Iris Xe jedoch nur 80 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1300 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
