Der Intel Core i5-11400T ist ein sparsamer Sechs-Kern-Prozessor auf Basis der Rocket-Lake-Architektur, die im März 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Der Prozessor taktet mit einem Basistakt von 1,3 GHz und erreicht unter Last einen All-Core-Boost von 3,7 GHz. Auf Hyperthreading muss man auch bei den sparsamen T-CPUs nicht verzichten, womit der i5-11400T in Summe bis zu 12 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i5-11400T, im 14-nm-Prozess.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i5-10400T bietet der Core i5-11400T eine deutlich bessere IPC. Das zeigt sich deutlich in den Single-Core-Benchmarks. Aber auch die Multi-Core-Performance profitiert von der besseren IPC im Vergleich zu Comet-Lake. Ein Leistungsplus von bis zu 20 Prozent kann erwartet werden.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Intel Core i7-104 00T bietet auch der Intel Core i7-11400T eine integrierte Grafikeinheit die auf den Namen Intel UHD Graphics 730 hört. Im Core i5-11400T arbeitet sie mit 350 - 1200 MHz und bietet alle 24 EUs.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die TDP fällt mit 35 Watt relativ gering aus. Dies ist der PL1-Wert. Für den Turbo bietet der Intel Core i5-11400T mit dem PL2 eine höhere TDP von bis zu 84 Watt. Für genau 28 Sekunden (Tau) dürfen die vollen 84 Watt verwendet werden, wenn es die Bedingungen zulassen.
Intel Core i7-1185G7 ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i7-1185G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der i7-1185G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 3 GHz Basistakt (bei 28 W TDP, 1,2 GHz bei 12 W) und 4,8 GHz Turbo-Takt (4,3 GHz für alle Kerne). Dadurch liegt die Leistung deutlich oberhalb des alten Ice-Lake basierten Core i7-1065G7 . Zum Zeitpunkt der Vorstellung ist der i7-1185G7 das schnellste Tiger-Lake-Modell. Seit Anfang 2021 unterstützt der i7-1185G7 offiziell vPro.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1185G7 bietet die Iris Xe alle 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1350 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden (mit unterschiedlichem Basistakt) und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
Intel Core i9-11900K ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core i9-11900K ist eine High-End-CPU mit zehn Kernen auf Basis der neuen Rocket-Lake-Architektur, die Ende April 2020 bereits angekündigt wurde. Der Prozessor taktet mit 3,5-5,3 GHz und kann dank Hyperthreading bis zu 16 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i9-11900K weiterhin im 14-nm-Prozess. Gleichwohl hat Intel die Basis im Vergleich zu Comet-Lake-S aber deutlich überarbeitet. Dank des freien Multiplikators lässt sich der Prozessor vergleichsweise einfach übertakten. Voraussetzung hierfür ist jedoch ein Mainboard mit dem neuen Z500-Chipsatz.
Performance
Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-10900K bietet der Core i9-11900K nur noch 8 der ursprünglich 10 rechenkerne. Hyperthreading ist und bleibt aber weiterhin ein fester Bestandteil aller neuen Rocket-Lake-S-Prozessoren, die zum Launch vorgestellt wurden. Das Fehlen der zwei Rechenkerne konnte der Intel Core i9-11900K aber sehr gut kompensieren und selbst in Multi-Thread-Anwendungen ist der neuer High-End-Prozessor nahezu gleich schnell, wie sein Vorgänger. Single-Thread-Anwendungen profitieren ungemein von der neuen Prozessorgeneration, denn die Single-Core-Performance konnte deutlich gesteigert werden. Damit eignet sich der Prozessor als sehr gute Basis für ein modernes Gaming-System. Die mit Comet-Lake-S eingebrachten Neuerungen wie TVB (Thermal Velocity Boost) bietet auch die neue Rocket-Lake-S-Platform, womit der Intel Core i9-11900K bis zu 5,3 GHz erreichen kann, wenn es die Umstände zulassen.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Intel Core i9-10900K bietet auch der Intel Core i9-11900K eine integrierte Grafikeinheit. Mit den neuen Intel UHD Graphics 750 erhöht Intel die Performance der IGPU um bis zu 50 Prozent. Hierbei dient die Intel Iris XE-Architektur als Basis. Im 11900K taktet sie mit 350 - 1300 MHz und bietet alle 32 EUs.
Leistungsaufnahme
Der Intel Core i9-11900K ist mit einer TDP von 125 Watt angegeben was dem PL1-Wert entspricht. Im Boost kann die Leistung des Prozessors auf bis zu 251 Watt ansteigen (PL2). Voraussetzungen sind aber eine gute Kühlung. Dass steht die erhöhte Leistung bis zu 56 Sekunden (Tau) zur Verfügung. Das sind ähnliche Werte, wie wir sie auch schon von Intel Core i9-10900K her kennen.
