Der Intel Core i5-11400H ist ein Hexa-Core-Prozessor für Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H45) und wurde im 2. Quartal 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip bietet einen TDP von 45 Watt (konfigurierbar). Die sechs Prozessorkerne können von 2,7 bis 4,5 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo) takten. Alle Kerne gemeinsam können maximal 4,1 GHz erreichen. Der Prozessor bietet 12 MB Level 3 Cache und unterstützt DDR4-3200 Speicher. Die integrierte Grafik basiert auf die Xe-Architektur und ist UHD Graphics benannt (32 EUs). Im 11400H taktet sie von 350 - 1450 MHz. Der Chip wird im neuen 10nm SuperFin Prozess gefertigt.
Dank der neuen Tiger Lake Architektur sollte die Leistung deutlich oberhalb des Vorgängers, dem Intel Core i7-10850H (Comet Lake-H, 6 Kerne, 2,7 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) liegen (Einzel- und Mehrkernperformance). Damit sollte die Performance vergleichbar sein eines einem aktuellem Ryzen 5 5600H (Zen 3, 6 Kerne, 3,3 - 4,4 GHz, 16 MB L3), oder auch etwas langsamer.
Wie bei den kleineren Tiger-Lake-Chips wird auch hier WLAN (Wifi 6E) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters bietet der i5-11400H 20 PCIe 4.0 Lanes.
Der TDP ist bei 2,7 GHz Basistakt mit 45 Watt spezifiziert und kann auf 35 Watt und dadurch 2,2 GHz verringert werden (cTDP). Dadurch eignet sich die CPU am besten für große und schwere Notebooks.
AMD Ryzen 7 5825U ► remove from comparison
Der AMD Ryzen 7 5825U ist ein Mobilprozessor für kleine und leichte Notebooks basierend auf die Cezanne Serie. Er ist Teil des Barcelo-Refresh Anfang 2022. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3 Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche von 2 bis zu 4,5 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 7nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt. Im Vergleich zum Ryzen 7 5800U , bietet der 5825U um 100 MHz höhere Taktraten der CPU-Kerne.
Die Leistung sollte nur minimal oberhalb des Ryzen 7 5800U liegen und hinter dem neuen Ryzen 7 6800U mit bis zu 4,7 GHz und deutlich schnellerer iGPU.
Der SoC integriert neben den acht Prozessorkernen noch eine Radeon RX Vega 8 Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs und bis zu 2000 MHz Takt (bzw. 1900 MHz im Geekbench Leak), einen Dual-Channel DDR4 Speicherkontroller (DDR4-3200, LPDDR4-4266) und 16 MB Level 3 Cache.
Der TDP ist weiterhin von 10 - 25 Watt konfigurierbar (15 Watt Default, in den meisten Notebooks aber 25 Watt). Daher ist der Chip auch für kleine und leichte Notebooks geeignet.
Intel Xeon W-11955M ► remove from comparison
Der Intel Core Xeon W-11955M ist ein Octa-Core-Prozessor für mobile Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H45) und wurde im 2. Quartal 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip bietet einen TDP von 45 Watt (konfigurierbar). Die Prozessorkerne können von 2,6 bis 5 GHz (Einzel und Zweikern-Turbo, ITBM 3.0) takten. Alle Kerne gemeinsam können maximal 4,5 GHz erreichen. Der Prozessor bietet 24 MB Level 3 Cache und unterstützt DDR4-3200 Speicher. Die integrierte Grafik basiert auf die Xe-Architektur und ist UHD Graphics benannt (mit 32 EUs). Im 11980HK taktet sie von 350 - 1450 MHz. Der Chip wird im neuen 10nm SuperFin Prozess gefertigt. Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-11950H , bietet der Xeon noch zusätzlich die Unterstützung für ECC-Speicher . Wie der i9 unterstützt der W-11955M die Management-Features vPro, SIPP und TXT .
