► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core i5-1135G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der Intel Core i5-1135G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 2,4 GHz Basistakt und 4,2 GHz Turbo-Takt. Im Vergleich bieten die schnelleren Core i7 Modelle einen deutlich höheren Takt (z.B. Core i7-1186G7 3 - 4,3 GHz).
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1135G7 bietet die Iris Xe jedoch nur 80 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1300 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der TDP kann bei den UP3 CPUs von 12 - 28 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550
► remove from comparisonDie Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 Dual-Core CPU ist ein oberer Mittelklasse Dual-Core Prozessor für Notebooks. Die Architektur des Prozessors basiert auf den Penryn Kern und wird in 45nm gefertigt. Der T9550 ist vergleichbar mit dem teureren P9600, welcher jedoch auf einen TDP von 25 Watt spezifiziert ist (T9550 max. 35 Watt TDP).
Dank der 2.66 GHz und des großen Level 2 Cache von 6 MB (shared für alle beiden Kerne), ist die Anwendungsleistung für Single-Threaded Anwendungen und Spiele welche hauptsächlich einen Kern benutzen, sehr gut. Moderne Spiele, welche mehrere Threads benutzen, können jedoch von einem 4-Kerner deutlich mehr profitieren (z.B. ein Drittel mehr Leistung bei DIRT 2 beim Einsatz von 4 Kernen, siehe unseren Prozessorleistung und Spiele Artikel). In 2009 reichte die Performance des T9550 jedoch für eine flüssige Darstellung von allen Spielen (GTA4 ev. knapp) und auch anspruchsvolle Anwendungen kommen mit der Leistung gut aus.
Der Penryn (Montevina Update) Kern bietet 2 Integer Units, 1 Floating Point Unit, 1 Load Unit und 1 Store Unit in einer 14-stufigen Pipeline. Mit der Wide Dynamic Execution Technologie kann der Kern bis zu vier volle Instruktionen gleichzeitig ausführen.
Im Core 2 Duo T9550 wurden keine Features der Penryn Architektur deaktiviert. Daher unterstützt er 64 Bit, Virtualisierung und alle Stromsparfunktionen (z.B. C6 State).
Dank Dynamic Acceleration (später Turbo Modus genannt), kann sich ein Kern um eine Stufe übertakten, wenn der zweite im Idle Modus (Leerlauf) ist.
Das integrierte Enhanced Speedstep kann die Taktfrequenz des Prozessors dynamisch an die Leistungsanforderungen anpassen. Dadurch läuft die CPU ohne Last nur mit 800 MHz.
Der Core 2 Duo T9550 passt in den Socket P (BGA479, PGA478).
Intel Core 2 Duo P8600
► remove from comparisonDer Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 Dual-Core Prozessor bietet zwei Prozessorkerne mit einem gemeinsamen Level 2 Cache von 3 MB. Im Vergleich zu den stärkeren Modellen bietet, der P8600 zwar nur die Hälfte an Level 2 Cache, jedoch bleibt dadurch der Stromverbrauch mit maximal 25 Watt auch geringer. Die Architektur des Prozessors basiert auf den Penryn Kern und wird in 45nm gefertigt.
Dank der relativ hohen Taktung von 2.4 GHz, ist die Performance jedoch für die meisten Spiele in 2009 ausreichend (nur GTA 4 profitiert deutlich von einem schnelleren Prozessor). Im Vergleich zu AMD Prozessoren, schlägt der P8600 den derzeit schnellsten Turion II Ultra M640 deutlich (dieser ist auf dem Niveau des 2.26 GHz schnellen Core 2 Duo P8400).
