Der Intel Core i5-11300H ist ein Quad-Core-Mittelklasse-Prozessor für dünne Gaming-Notebooks und Workstations. Er basiert auf die Tiger-Lake-Architektur (H35) und wurde Anfangs 2021 präsentiert. Der Chip kann von 28 bis 35 Watt (TDP) konfiguriert werden und bietet einen Basistakt von 2,6 (28 W) bis 3,1 GHz (garantierter Minimumtakt unter Last). Ein und zwei Kerne können im kurzfristigen Boost 4,4 Ghz erreichen, alle vier Kerne gleichzeitig bis zu 4 GHz. Der L3-Cache wurde beim 11300H von 12 auf 8 MB verringert.
Damit entspricht der i5-11300H einem Core i5-1145G7 , der jedoch von 12 - 28 Watt TDP konfigurierbar ist und einen geringeren Basistakt von 1,1 - 2,6 GHz bietet. Der alte Core i5-10300H taktet zwar ähnlich hoch mit 2,5 - 4,5 GHz, nutzt aber noch die alten Skylake Kerne und ist dadurch langsamer.
Die integrierte Intel Xe Grafikkarte (Gen 12) bietet 80 der 96 Kerne und taktet mit 400 - 1300 MHz.
Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6/6e) und Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.
Der i5-11300H wird im verbesserten 10nm Verfahren (10nm SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt. Dieser ist in etwas vergleichbar mit dem 7nm Prozess bei TSMC.
AMD Ryzen 5 2600H ► remove from comparison
Der AMD Ryzen 5 2600H ist ein Mobilprozessor für Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 bis 3,6 GHz takten. Im Vergleich zum Ryzen 5 2500U ist der Basistakt deutlich höher (3,2 GHz versus 2 GHz), es wird DDR4-3200 Speicher unterstützt und der TDP ebenfalls (35 Watt versus 15 Watt). Die integrierte Grafikkarte bietet 8 CUs im Chip (= 512 Shader) und wird AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 Mobile heissen.
Die Prozessor-Leistung sollte durch den höheren TDP etwas oberhalb des Ryzen 5 2500U liegen, da die Turbo Taktraten dadurch wahrscheinlich im Schnitt länger gehalten werden können.
Durch den erhöhten Stromverbrauch (TDP konfigurierbar von 35 - 54 Watt), eignet sich der Ryzen 7 2800H nur für große und schwere Notebooks.

Der AMD Ryzen Embedded V1605B ist die embedded Variante des Consumer Ryzen 5 2500U . Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU) die von 2 - 3,6 GHz getaktet werden. Der TDP ist konfigurierbar zwischen 12 und 25 Watt (15 Watt nominell) und daher eignet sich die APU auch für schlanke und leichte Notebooks. Der L3-Cache beträgt beim 2500U 4 MB. Weiters ist eine Radeon RX Vega 8 getaufte Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs (512 Shader) integriert. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt maximal Dual-Channel DDR4-2400.
