Der Intel Core i5-1035G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Ice-Lake-Architektur basiert und im Q3 2019 wahrscheinlich auf den Markt kommt. Ice Lake wird im modernen 10nm Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neue Sunnycove Microarchitektur für die CPU-Kerne. Damit sollte die CPU-Leistung trotz geringerer Taktraten mit dem alten Core i5-8365U (Whiskey-Lake, 4 Kerne, max 4,1 GHz) mithalten können. Intel spricht von durchschnittlich 18% höherer IPC Leistung die die Taktunterschiede gut machen sollen. Nach aktuellen Informationen taktet die CPU mit nur 1.2 GHz Basistakt (garantiert) und kann auf bis zu 3,7 GHz mit einem Kern per Turbo hochtakten. 2 Kerne erreichen maximale 3,6 GHz und alle 4 maximal 3,3 GHz per Turbo.
Neu ist die deutlich schnellere Gen 11 basierende Grafikeinheit Iris Plus Graphics G7. Im Core i5-1035G7 ist die stärkste "G7" Variante verbaut, welche 64 Shader-Cluster bei 300-1100 MHz bietet. Diese soll die 2x Performance der alten GPUs bieten und damit wohl zu dedizierten Einstiegsgrafikkarten wie der GeForce MX150 aufschließen können. Die AMD Vega 10 GPU in den starken Ryzen APUs glaubt Intel damit ebenfalls zu schlagen.
Weiters integriert Intel nun eine AI Beschleunigung im Chip und Wifi 6 und Thunderbolt 3 sind teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Der integrierte DDR4 Speicherkontroller unterstützt Module mit bis zu 3200 MHz.
Leistungsaufnahme
Die Fertigung erfolgt im modernen 10nm Verfahren und soll mit TSMC's 7nm Verfahren mithalten können. Der TDP kann vom Notebookhersteller weiterhin zwischen 7,5 - 25 Watt konfiguriert werden, mit dementsprechend abweichender Leistung (besonders bei längerer Last).

Der Intel Core i7-1355U ist eine High-End-Notebook-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-U (RPL-U) Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die im Januar 2023 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU bietet 2 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 12 Threads) und takten von 1,7 bis 5 GHz. Die E-Kerne takten von 1,2 - 3,7 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6300HQ ). Weiters unterstützt der i7-1355U vPro-Essentials -Management-Features (eingeschränkt im Vergleich zu den Enterprise Features des i7-1365U).
Performance
Durch die hohen Taktraten, ist die Performance etwas oberhalb des alten Core i7-1265U (max 4.8 GHz). Wie üblich bei Alder Lake ist die Performance stark abhängig von der Kühlung und den TDP Settings.
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 1355U sind alle 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,3 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt LPDDR5-6400. Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt weiterhin nur PCIe 4.0 (x8 for GPU und zwei x4 für SSDs).
Leistungsaufnahme
