AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 (Ryzen 4000/5000) ► remove from comparison
Die AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 ist eine integrierte Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie befindet sich in den Ryzen 7 APUs der 4000er Serie (Renoir, z.B. Ryzen 7 4800U von Anfang 2020) und 5000 Serie. Im Vergleich zur Radeon RX Vega 8 der 2000er Serie (Raven Ridge), wird die neuere Vega 8 deutlich höher getaktet (1.750 versus 1.100 MHz Boost).
Die Leistung ist abhängig vom konfigurierten TDP (12-25 Watt zum Launch), der Taktung im Modell, der Kühlung und vom verbauten Hauptspeicher. Von schnellem Dual-Channel DDR4-3200 Speicher dürfte die Grafikkarte deutlich profitieren (im Gegensatz zu auch möglichen DDR4-2133 Single-Channel).
Die Vega Architektur bietet einige Verbesserungen zur Polaris Generation und unterstützt nun z.B. DirectX 12 Feature Level 12_1. Mehr Informationen dazu finden Sie in unserem Raven Ridge Architekturartikel .
Die Leistung sollte durch die höhere Taktung und den schnelleren Speicher deutlich oberhalb der alten Vega 8 in Raven Ridge APUs liegen. Trotzdem bleibt die Grafikkarte eine Einstiegslösung und eignet sich nur für anspruchslose Spiele wie League of Legends oder Counter Strike: Go.
Der Stromverbrauch ist dank 7nm Prozess und ausgeklügelten Stromsparmechanismen relativ gering (laut AMD) und daher eignet sich die Grafikkarte auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks.

Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Mobile (NVIDIA_DEV.2583, GN20-P1) ist die zweit-kleinste Variante der RTX 3000 Serie und basiert auf den GA107 Ampere Chip. Sie bietet 2560 CUDA-, 20 Raytracing und 80 Tensor-Kerne. Der Speicherbus ist 128 Bit breit und unterstützt 4 GB GDDR6 dedizierten Grafikspeicher. Die Taktung und damit Leistung ist abhängig von der Variante (35 - 80 Watt TGP).

Die Leistung liegt nach ersten Informationen zwischen GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q und GTX 1660 Ti. Damit reicht die Performance für Full HD Gaming und hohe Detailstufen in anspruchsvollen Spielen. Für Raytracing Effekte reicht die Leistung kaum aus, jedoch können die Tensor-Kerne via DLSS in manchen Spielen zu einer höheren Leistung helfen.
Der GA107 Chip bietet 3.072 FP32 ALUs wovon die Hälfte auch INT32 Befehle ausführen können (also 1.536 INT32 ALUs). Bei Turing konnten noch alle Shader FP32 oder INT32 ausführen. Die Raytracing und Tensor Kerne auf dem Chip wurden laut Nvidia ebenfalls verbessert. Weiters integriert der Ampere Chip einen Hardware Video-Encoder (NVENC 5. Generation für H.264 und H.265) und Decoder (7. Generation für zahlreiche Formate inklusive AV1).
Der GA107 Chip wird bei Samsung im 8nm (8N) Verfahren welches mit dem 7nm Verfahren von TSMC nicht ganz mithalten kann (z.B. von AMD genutzt, aber auch für den professionellen GA100 Ampere Chip).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU ► remove from comparison
Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU oder 3070 Mobile (für Laptops, GN20-E5, Max-P / Max-Q) ist Anfang 2021 die zweit-schnellste Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf den GA104-770-A1 Ampere Chip und bietet 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher mit einem 256 Bit Grafikbus (mit 12 oder 14 Gbps). Sie unterstützt PCIe 4.0 und soll in zwei verschiedenen Varianten mit 80, 90, 115 bzw. 125 Watt (TGP) verfügbar sein. Als Package nutzt die Notebook-Grafikkarte GB5-256 und die Chipgröße soll 40x40mm betragen. Die GPU unterstützt eDP 1.4b zum Anschluss des internen Monitors.
Es gibt nun keine Max-Q Variante mehr (die 80 - 90 Watt Versionen heissen auch nur "Laptop GPU"), aber jede TGP-Version kann die Max-Q Technologien nutzen (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode).
Die Leistung ist abhängig von der TGP-Variante und der verwendeten Kühlung. Im Schnitt sollte sie etwa auf dem Level einer alten RTX 2080 Super Mobile liegen. Dadurch reicht die Leistung bei den meisten anspruchsvollen Spielen auch für 4k mit maximalen Details. Bei 1080p sind auch Frameraten über 100 fps möglich.
