CES 2013 | Tablet Asus VivoTab Smart ME400C ab sofort für 500 Euro erhältlich

Asus hat auf der CES in Las Vegas sein 10,1-Zoll-Tablet VivoTab Smart ME400C als günstigen Einstieg bei den Windows-8-Tablets präsentiert. Der 580 Gramm schwere Asus-Tablet-PC ist 9,7 Millimeter flach und rechnet mit einem Dual-Core-Atom Z2760 (Codename Clover Trail) von Intel. Das 10,1"-IPS-Display löst mit 1.366 x 768 Pixeln auf und wird durch kratzfestes Glas geschützt. Asus nennt für das kapazitive Multitouch-Panel eine Leuchtdichte von 350 cd/m².

Zum attraktiven Preis von rund 500 Euro hat das Tablet Asus VivoTab Smart ME400C bereits 64 GByte eMMC-Speicher und 2 GByte LPDDR2-RAM an Bord. Dank einem integrierten microSD-Kartenslot lässt sich der Speicher sogar noch erweitern. Als Grafik rechnet im VivoTab Smart die integrierte PowerVR SGX545. Zur drahtlosen Kommunikation nutzt das VivoTab Smart ME400C neben WLAN 802.11b/g/n auch Bluetooth 4.0.

Bei den Schnittstellen kann der Anwender 1x micro-USB, 1x micro-HDMI und eine Kopfhörerbuchse nutzen. Zwei Digitalkameras auf Vorder- (2 MPixel) und Rückseite (8 MPixel) für die Aufnahme von Fotos und Videos runden die Ausstattung des VivoTab Smart ME400C ab. Mit seiner optionalen erhältliche Bluetooth-Tastatur mit Sleeve verwandelt sich das Asus VivoTab Smart flugs auch in ein vollwertiges Netbook. Das Bundle aus Bluetooth-Tastatur und Sleeve ist ab Mitte Januar für knapp 110 Euro erhältlich.
