Der Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 ist ein Einstiegs-Doppelkernprozessor für Notebooks. Er basiert auf den Merom-2M Kern und wird daher noch in 65nm gefertigt. Die Virtualisierungsfunktionen des Merom Kerns sind jedoch beim T5550 deaktiviert. Durch die geringe Taktrate, den relativ kleinen Cache und den langsamen FSB ist die Performance des T5550 limitiert und war auch in 2008 nur in der Einsteigerklasse anzusiedeln. Im Vergleich zu Pentium und Celeron Modellen, sollte der Core 2 Duo jedoch mehr Stromsparmechanismen bieten.

Intel Core 2 Duo T7700

Der Core 2 Duo T7700 war der schnellste Merom basierte Core 2 Duo mit 35 Watt TDP. Die Penryn Nachfolger (z.B. Core 2 Duo T8300) waren bei gleichem Takt minimal schneller.

Intel Core 2 Duo T5900

Der Intel Core 2 Duo T5900 ist ein auf den Merom Kern basierender Doppelkern Prozessor für Notebooks. Er wurde später von dem in 45nm gefertigten und gleichgetakteten Core 2 Duo T6600 abgelöst. Durch Verbesserungen im Kern ist dieser auch etwas schneller.
